Such a shame for Arsenal, they have avoided the PL for too long
the stadium expenses and selling their best assets costs them, but their history is admirable and in my opinion they best represent england. A very classy club that never got relegated.
@@neeleshjoyram7536never getting relegated is nothing to be proud of. That's like saying you never had an abortion and being proud. It's more impressive to suffer, get relegated and fight your way back to the top of English football.
@panda1412. It's a great feat that hasn't been accomplished by any team in England and that must be respected. Arsenal are a massive club with football heritage and lots of pride. In the early 2000 they were a powerhouse and even accomplished the impossible with an invincible season in a period where most teams were at their prime and we witnessed legends all around the game. I remember the battle of Highbury and how much they revolutionised football. It takes 7 premier leagues and 6 champions league for the gunners to match Liverpool or United in terms of trophies the country, and city proved its possible with investment. However, you will never achieve what "The Arsenal" did, and I'm speaking from experience.
@@neeleshjoyram7536 @neeleshjoyram7536 nothing you said gave any weight to why not getting relegated is something to be proud of. And I just gave you a reason why it's more impressive to be relegated. Why would I achieve what a football club achieves? You're speaking from as much experience as anyone else on the internet mate.
@@panda1412.How can you say it’s not impressive yet no other team has done it? Bet if it was your club you’d think it was impressive then

A few surprises. Didn't realise it wasn't until the 1930s that a southern team won it, or that Wolves didn't win it until the 1950s.
Because it was founded & mostly played in the north

Its crazy how uncompetitive things quickly became after the modern Premier League was established.
It went from: Everton, Arsenal, Villa, Liverpool, Newcastle, Sunderland, Manchester United throughout the last century to Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United by and large. With 2 freak exceptions and Liverpool in between times.
