Disneyland Paris: Disney Dreams 2023 show

The Disney Dreams night show created in 2012 is back at Disneyland Paris since April 12, 2023, for the 30th anniversary of the Disneyland park. It replaces the Disney Illuminations show created for the 25th anniversary in 2017. Filmed on 29/04/2023
The show takes advantage of the recent renovation of Sleeping Beauty Castle as well as the updating of the technical equipment of the Disneyland park for an even more spectacular visual effect!
It tells the story of Peter Pan's adventures to find his shadow through the most emblematic Disney stories:
Sequence #01: Introduction
Under a starry sky, the spectators find Peter Pan and Wendy under the glow of the second star on the right when Peter Pan's shadow decides to escape from him, spreading stardust in the process.
Sequence #02: The shadow has fun
Peter Pan's shadow moves through the great Disney classics which come to life with breathtaking effects on Sleeping Beauty Castle:
- Beauty and the Beast, with Lumière
- Ratatouille, with Rémy
- Aladdin, with the Genie
Sequence #03: Free to dream
Other stories follow:
- The Hunchback of Notre Dame, with Quasimodo
- The Lion King, with Simba
- Rebel, with Merida
- Rapunzel, with Flynn
Sequence #04: The Shadow Fights
Peter Pan's shadow is bewitched by Doctor Facilier before being captured by Captain Hook, with Disney villains Ursula and Maleficent trying to hold him back. But Peter Pan manages to save his shadow, with the help of Tinkerbell.
Sequence #05 : Final
Peter Pan has found his shadow and can now let his dreams take him wherever he wants.

Bonjour, Chris. I would like to tell you that this is the temporary modified 2023 version of Disney Dreams, which feature no fire/flamethrowers. It happens due to aftermath of Fantasmic maleficent dragon fire at Disneyland in California on April 22.

There are indeed some pyrotechnic effects that have been temporarily suspended following the recent incident in Anaheim but as Ben Spalding, who was involved in the creation of the original show in 2012 and who produced the new version, said, some elements of the show have been modified such as the projection of Peter Pan and Wendy on water screens which were removed for Disney Illuminations who did not need them 🙂

Bonjour, c'est une version lente du titre "Un Monde Qui S'Illumine" composé en 2022 par Tony Ferrari, Chantry Johnson et Noémie Legrand pour le 30ème anniversaire de Disneyland Paris. La chanson nous invite à rire et chanter plus fort, ouvrir notre cœur et à croire en nos rêves 🙂
