exactly... at first they probably cant even hold the queue right... after a year of training maybe they can pot.. then after that pot and place, draw... and after all that.. they still probably cant do 2 of the shots he just did lol and that was under pressure
Indeed, I used to play in small tables in pubs and I was actually good in 15 ball. But times we went on a Club to play snooker, man... that was a disaster. Distances are huge and a little angle you shoot wrong makes you miss for much.
@@dr.fabrizioprado1361 it takes practice... and alot of concentration, after awhile you will get it... but the thing is potting one ball is not enough.. its the control.. and also consequtive potting. It's definitely more tiring than pool. Im a pool player, but i do play snooker once in a blue moon. One thing is good is that when you switch back to pool, it becomes so much easier to pot LOL
I keep saying this. Go to a full size snooker table and just try and pot, say, a medium length pot and note how hard it is. Then just think of factoring in pace, side, spin or whatever and you will appreciate the sheer genius you have just watched in some of those shots, it really is incredible stuff and he has been doing this for almost 40 years. Mind-boggling levels of skill and precision.
@@cyriluslyeach table is different. I'd argue snooker is harder than almost all sports bar golf. It requires years and years of competitive play to get anywhere near semi-pro.
Being an older snooker player I wish just once in my life I could watch him live ,the guy is the best on the planet .Don't ever think not .The best of the best admire and hope to learn .Long live ROS
Yes, I had the privilege of watching the first session of the World Grand Prix final this year, ROS vs Judd Trump. The only time I've ever watched snooker live. They both played badly - Ronnie just couldn't get going. I watched the second session at home on TV, and was amazed that Ronnie turned Judd over for the win.
That plant down the right cushion into the corner is an absurdly good pot. As just a pure pot, not including amazing position or action on the cue ball etc, that plant is one of the best pots I’ve ever seen.
You probably can make a 10minutes compilation of amazing shots for every top player. But to be fair you could make only a Ronnie compilation of +100 minutes!
wow i miss him 😔 he also withdraw from scotish open ! i miss prime ronnie so much ! im sure he is practicing and working on his game ! im sure he will be back
I could sit here talking shit about how hard and crazy out of this world these shots are don’t mean shit coming from a dude that can barely put a 50 together on a good day. What I say is look at the opponents faces after Ronnie plays these shots. Game knows game and these are the best players world has. When their faces are like “ what in the Jesus fukkck” that right there says all it needs to be said…
Whole video is just a complete piss take the shots are so hard looks easy but u try it not many people on the planet can do it and like these shots even fewer
People who don't play snooker don't know how crazy and hard those pots are.
Especially the ones close to the rail.......

@@RajeshJustaguy LOL that is so true. Thanks mate
Certainly, the best player I have ever seen
This Ronnie guy could be something big in the next couple years
If he keeps his head down 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Strong possibility indeed.

Growing up on snooker hall tables instead of football or other reasons is that simple answer

@StuPhee That's why I'm not a professional snooker player
the best snooker player....
The commentators said it: unbelievable, incredible, amazing, and even outrageous!
Undisputed GOAT of snooker. Complete mastery of the art.
You made a mistake at 4:20 it was Jamie O'Neill who potted that blue not Ronnie.
@@darren6589Nah don't think so lol
You‘re right! Thats a mistake 👍🏽
Ros with a touch of O'Neil. What more can you ask for

I watched him live once he lost badly to ricky Walden! It was a joy nevertheless

Mesmerizing watching this lad.
the best in history

Great performance by Ronnie.
The dedication and quality this man has produced in this sport will never be repeated. Its beyond belief what he has done
So much so I cannot see any other outcome than the sport dying a death without him. Its not a mainstream sport. But he has kept it alive this century
Red at 7:52 along cushion is one of greatest shots ever, just amazing

The stig of snooker.
He really should have won the 2014 final.
The cannon at 2:25 was so good it was taking the piss.
The best ones were those followed by a close up of the opponents desperation.
Plant shot 👍👍💪

The first 3 shots of this video really takes the P.
Come on, Ronnie
0:37 insane tekkers
5:12
I know, send them to have a go!!! 😂😂
Imagine how good he would be if he did enjoy running
I was close to his playing style back in the days but I just couldn't pot the ball.
He’s only good cos he probably has a snooker table at home
This is what gets said when you make a few good shots in the pub
His play is mind bottling..
