Guys please first check in your bios that network boot is enabled or not that is the main problem most of the time if disable please enable it to use wifi. ❤
Mike has worked, I don't know exactly what I did to make this work. But first I didn't try anything in this video yet. The last thing I tried was something I saw in a 42 seconds long video or so from the same result when you search for this problem
I've installed the additional drivers necessary for my specific wifi adaptor i.e. Tp link ac600 wireless realtek rtl8811au t2u nano, I've installed the 8812 drivers as drivers for 8811 are not available. Now my wifi adaptor is blinking green light, from which i conclude that its working? but still no visible networks are shown when i turn on the wifi. What should I do?
Tip: Enable your network adapter from the BIOS under advanced settinngs. It was disabled for me, after enabling it, save and exit. Start your Ubuntu and the wifi should appear
I think your instuctions are useless. I ama a beginner wanting to learn. I did not learn anything from this video be \cause it was NOT informative. first What is we are attempting to do? 2. Why are we doing it per the video? 3. What is it accomplishing? 4. Was this vido installing missing drivers? 5. What is the purpose of the commands at mark 2:13? ? ? Why do need to create a config file ? A config file for what?? Ive watched this sveral time . USELESS
Stop getting angry and the vedio doesn't say it's a beginner guide...there so many Linux tutorial you can check them out...with a little advanced people they need a straight forward vedio and that's what the creator intended

How do i get into bios?
After doing as you said still problem not yet fixed
Edit the file in by doing sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf/,
I have had this problem in the past, I can see how many users will benefit from this.
Thanks!
