Brother I'm jealous, nice shop, just moved to upstate NY got all my three car garage ( shop ) stuffed in a 10× 25 storage unit can't find nothin. I happy for you Bro, I'll keep watching you keep vidin. Love your work.
Something about old Chevy trunks, great for bass. A pair of 6x9s is plenty. Had a ‘78 Caprice with a similar setup. Mixing subs sizes is tricky too, distortion-wise. Would be cool to see how it turns out.
@@Califormula All good I understand. Watched the whole video, tryn to do something similar. I have a factory rear deck sub which I plan to remove and use the hole as a breather for subs in the trunk. Easy af, but nice to see work from scratch. Good job man.
@@Califormula I can believe it. Can’t beat L7s for the performance at a great price. I’m gonna get some CompQ 10s shortly, big jump from Kappa 8s… which why I need a hole. Seen you on the MBE chat BTW. Have great year man
Wow man, you done a great job, I want to do somthing similar. I just picked up a nicer, 1974 buick apollo, and of course, the rear deck, was coming apart, so much I just pulled it up, and now I'm left with the metal, and 6x9 holes. Could you by chance give me a small, materials list, to do my self, and replace with a panel or wood, cut my holes out. And what adhesive for the fabric or whatever I use. How would I get the panel to attach to the metal. Hope your build continues to be awesome!
thanks man yeah sure you need plywood 3M fabric adhesive or contact cement I just went to Jo-Ann's bought fabric and whatever density fluff foam you want I don't know what it's actually called as far as fixing the wood to the metal I use nutserts and bolts from Amazon that's it! wish you luck thanks for watching
This is a nice setup... I came up with an idea to do something very similar to this with the extra boxes for the by 9’s and came across this video 👍🏻 and slick idea with the threaded inserts bro that’s something I’m definitely going to keep in mind.... any difference with the sound quality?
thank you man!!! truthfully I can't tell 😂 this 6x9s are hella loud, way louder than the four that were in there so I can't tell if it's the box or if it's the 6x9's 😑 definitely sounds way better than before.
@@Kloco78 also from Amazon I don't remember what it was called I think it's meant for a grill it's very thin I would try and find something better if you could.
Oh Hey loved the HT tee shirt, she is one of many heroes of history keep her alive.
Yes sir can't forget!!!
Great job! I like the idea of mounting the box to the rear deck. Never thought of sound interruptions.
