I hit my wall at 45 bed bound 2 yrs from extreme musculoskeletal pain, cfs, migraines, rls, zero sleep and the list goes on. Worse was the anxiety...it was so bad i couldnt leave the house. I am 52 this year still have a cycle which is so bad. I tried hrt and it made me sick...so now just plodding along the best i can... My heart goes out to all the women and families who suffer with this 💗
When I can sense that I'm being attacked spiritually. I instantly began praying for God's protection. I see body dysfunctions as an attack from the enemy. I don't accept sickness. I see it as an abomination before God. I pray against sickness. I plead the blood over my body. It's time for us to return to God.
Menopause is something that us women go through naturally. Once it becomes painful and uncomfortable. Now it's an attack from the enemy. So pray against pain and uncomfortable circumstances. Know that I'm still receiving God's blessings. Patiently waiting for what's next.
I am 54 and still in peri. I do not take hormones. I exercise as much as I can, even if it is only a 30 minute walk or a bike ride. I do not have hot flashes or night sweats, and I sleep well. It really does make a difference, and cutting sugar out of my diet as much as possible is also a benefit. I hope this helps someone.
Menopause was the best thing that happened to me. It made me change my high sugar attraction. I stopped eating sugar without thinking. I started to exercise EVERYDAY. I think before I eat. I incorporate more vegetables into my diet. Without menopause I would have been just surviving and not living. Many people as soon as they get one sign of menopause they go to grab the HRT - not put them selves first.
I’ve done these things consistently for years and yet at 52 the sweats hit me super hard. I lift heavy weights 3x week plus regular walking and cardio, consistent sleep…until now that is.
I completely understand how frustrating that can be, especially when you’re used to being active. Perimenopause can bring about unexpected changes, from aches and sleep disturbances to shifts in mood and patience levels. You’re not alone in feeling this way! Sometimes it helps to adjust the way we approach exercise and recovery, especially as our bodies go through these hormonal shifts. Gentle movement, focusing on strength training, and balancing your nutrition to support hormone health can make a big difference. I’d love to hear more about what’s been working (or not) for you lately - every little step counts!
@@MichelleBlackChannel absolutely....I use to jog and realizes it began causing terrible pain later....so I started walking and strength training....what I had to come to terms with....I can no longer do long and strenuous workout to lose weight....it more diet.....but whatever little exercise I can do....I try at least 5 days a week
I am 51. For me lifting weights, practicing yoga and having fun dancing or walking in nature have been very important to keep me feeling fit and young. Though it wasn´t until I also started incorporating meditation, gratitude journaling, spirituality and faith and nurturing my sexual energy that I have been feeling more and more amazing, young and vibrant during my late forties. I unfortunately have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and I´m on medication now and cannot take HRT. The medication suppresses my estrogen and progesterone almost completely and put me into menopause very abruptly. Exercise and diet have become even more important in this fase of my life. Cutting coffee, consuming lot´s of vegetables, especially cruciferous and introducing fito estrogens, like organic tofu and legumes, plus supplementing with cod liver oil, rich in omega 3 and vitamin D, K2, magnesium, Glycine (an amino acid that cools the body and is only found in connective tissue, so supplementing or taking bone broth is very important. Fingers crossed!!
What about fluoride in the water, toothpaste , sugar. what material we wear in clothes , the chemicals in house products, furniture, plastics etc etc and the HRT given by doctors that just cover the issues and can cause more problems in the future.
I do 4 times a week sports with a resistance band, make my own bread like nuts bread, oats bread and lentil bread, start to take whey proteine powder and magnesium duo,do not use sugar. No more pains and sleep like a baby.
Yes exercise is good of course we all know that however how can you have energy to exercise if you are dealing with severe vertigo and insomnia all the time in perimenopause. 😢
Im 54 3 years ago I got severe plantar faciatus. Prior to that i was fit, lean muscled and i did crossfit, ate clean, and did long distance running. I could barely walk initially. All my muscles were affected. My physiotherapist said it was from my old L4/5 injuries and sciatica that triggered it. I gained a lot of weight, and found exercise then almost impossible, just my physio exercises and stretching caused me pain, but i stuck it out. I also believe it was my drop in estrogen that added to my problems. Im post Menapause 3 years now. However, in perimenapause i suffered so many Menapause symptoms, and i couldn't take HRT as there's breast cancer in my family. Now I still have PF, but much improved and am actually able to go for walks with my dog, and past 3 weeks been doing tabata workouts with weights and cardio tabata's and am noticing a difference in my menapause symptoms. Plus cutting right back on sugar as well. Iv noticed my hot flashes and night sweats have decreased.
I have uti and brain fog ostapinia, Fibromayligia, I have severe pms with my hrt sickness, migraine, cramping and spotting, once your in the menopause YOU STAY IN IT! I ALSO SUFFER FROM SLEEP ANXIETY AND SLEEP APNEA 😢
Consider seeing a functional medicine practitioner. Eat more protein for your bones and muscles. Stop sugar, seed oils, gluten and dairy. You'll feel better.
I read women saying that they have found what works to have “no symptoms”. Yet, the loss of hormones remains. And THAT loss of three essential hormones affects bones, brain, genital - urinary system, literally every cell in our bodies. Personally, I would take HRT even if I was “symptom free”. Just my point of view.
That’s great to hear that cutting carbs after 4pm helped with your restless legs! 🙌 Sometimes small changes can make a big difference. It’s fascinating how certain foods and meal timing can affect our bodies, especially when dealing with things like restless leg syndrome or other perimenopausal symptoms. Have you noticed any other shifts since making this adjustment?
The ex told me it was like living with someone with dementia. I also have fibro and the musculoskeletal pain went ten fold. Bad days I could barely function.
The best treatment for ALL menopause symptoms is bHRT. Unless there is a preexisting condition that would make it medically unsafe, all women should be encouraged to begin bHRT during perimenopause. Estrogen and progesterone are essential for protecting us against so many post menopausal conditions. I hope you cover this in your full episode. Do not do so would be a grave omission.
I exercise and weight train, full fat and have always been. Still have hot flushes and very heavy periods. So no this doesn’t work for everyone. I also was very anaemic, because of my heavy periods. The only thing that has finally helped me was hormones. So no she doesn’t speak for everyone.
Make time to exercise, ladies. I will be 60 in July and I do Muay Thai three times a week and on the off days during the week, I ride a stationary bike and do ab stretches. On Saturday, it’s self defence and then weights. No, I do not feel that I am getting too much exercise. Your body adjusts to the physical exertion and so will you!! Make exercise a part of your daily personal hygiene.
@@therealdibabe many ppl are just too ill with symptoms to the point that they cannot even look after themselves. Can't exercise due to adrenal fatigue, in which case you must not exercise. So sorry you are going through this
Try high fat animal based eating. Cut out all grains. They were the very worst triggers for my severe symptoms.
