I leave church many years ago because people did hurting my feelings. Degrade spirit me by people in church . But I believe in GOD . I did pray myself before eat and bedtime. I don’t want go to church because destroy my good high spirit. Now, I am struggling to get my life back. Too late for me.

I remembered my Mom tell me to go to church when l was about 11 or 12 years old. I has no friends Mexican people in Catholic church and no interpter. I remembered l always looked at the elaborate images of Jesus and Mary. I didn't learn any words from Catholic church because of spanish that l learn to talk a little spanish from my Mom and family. I went to Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas when l was 12 years old.

I had same problems but no marriage religion is jehovah witness then baptized in 2013, now in 2023 i did guit them cuz nothing happens when god were against queer community but the president signed the bill for gay and lesbian, so i did went back to be one.. gay, so what! God does nothing about it.🎉

Wow, what a journey you had! I am an atheist too but not the same journey as yours. You are extraordinary with the extraordinary courage!

I recommend you go to Mark 7 camp. You will love it. It is a spiritual and beautiful place.
