Perfect drafting and clear sewing instructions. I stitched perfect fitting kurtis using these instructions. Thanks. Sleeve attachment could have been more elaborate. Since I knew the basics already, I could do it. But beginners might struggle there.

"HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE KURTI"

On the Kurti you have marked 3 "Vertical points" ( B10", W15" & H21), are these Vertical points standard for all sizes (SML/MED/LRG/XL) as well as height? Or do I need to adjust these vertical points for different sizes and height? if yes, then is there a formula to follow? Tks! safia
Hi Savi, What is the difference between Bust line, which you marked 10" and Chest line which is/4? Also the width of the (2.75") neck can be increased to 3" to 3.5"?
+Safia Ahmed---- 2.75 is the minimum or standard width of the neck.when you increase the neck width remember to decreas the shoulder width at the arm hole end.
Hi Shahnaz, Thanks for your concern. Actually I like the broad neck, so I always keeps the width of my neck 3.5 inches, but I never ever decreased the shoulders width and the result appears very irritating, that my shoulders always falls. Believe me I'm still going through this problem and whatever sari blouses I stitched it's has the same problem. My shoulder width is 14.5 inches without seam allowance. So how much should I decrease the shoulder for 3.5 inches width for neck? Once again thanks for your help and you seem to be very kind hearted lady. Hi savi, after attaching the sleeves, when I wear the dress, I am getting fleets on the sleeve near the arm hole joint and also on the body part near the arm hole joint . Can you tell me why this is happening ?
