  • It's prime time to target a great near-shore multi-species bite along Lake Superior's south shore. I explain what we're using and how we're using it.

    Sick video! My ADHD is too bad to be sitting and waiting like that. Sick laker.

      I prefer to be casting but when the fish are snapping it’s a ton of fun.

    Nice video!..my cousins son just moved up to Duluth to pilot a tour boat, he's super excited..
    I like the captains comment, ' the fishing is great, the catching; not so much'..🤣

    Great day on the big water. Maybe take your female pro out to help. Thanks for sharing with us.

      She would go if it’s flat calm but she tends to get motion sickness in the waves.

    Enjoyed your video as always. Ive got about 24 hours trolling The Big Lake with 0 to show for it. Just curious what port you fished from. If you are comfortable saying that is great, I certainly understand if not. Thank you for creating and sharing this content. TIGHT LINES ALL!

      Thank you! Not really a port but we launched off Bark Point Landing.

    just saw your small mouth video today!
    question: How do you make or buy the release clip that attached to the planer board rope? And if there's a bit and the clip releases, do the clips stack up toward the outside, so you have to set a new release clip each time (then collect all the clips when you reel in the planer board)?
    I enjoy your multispecies videos, that's the most fun way to fish

      The releases are a purchased item. Search for Laurvick planar board releases. The releases slide to the board or the next release when a fish hits. The releases are collected when you bring the board in.

    So what happens to those clips after the line releases from them? They just hang out on the line and you have extras you clip on when you send a line back out?

    • @AnglerX
      @AnglerX  Місяць тому

      After a release the clips stay on the main planar board cord. Simply grab another clip when resetting the line. The clips will be there when you pull the boards in at the end of the trip.

    you really need to dispose those fish before putting them in the cooler.

      Agreed! We always do. We had back to back to back fish and then disposed of them immediately after the flurry. We use Ikejime, a Japanese method of killing fish. We don't show this in the video.
