That so amazing you can see two airplane parallel take off and landing together at San Francisco International Terminal?? Look like you want to... "airplane race"?? Oh.
WOW! That's is THE MOST amazing thing you'll see in your lifetime! That's not a movie! That's real life! It's not everyday that two aircrafts take off like that and salute each other before they go their separate ways! WICKED COOL!
Sweet. I work at IAH and have a few videos from the taxiways of this type of departure but always wanted to see it from the air. Thanks. This is a common departure procedure for IAH. 15L departures (your 737) typically depart on a 120 heading or straight east with an occasional turn to the north. 15R departures are typically the west bounder's and north bounder's. Dual departures speed up the departure rate and get you in the air much faster. It is safe and common at other airports with parallel departure runways. Limitations are wind direction and type of aircraft departing. Once you get to the 757 class and above, referred to as 'heavies' then it changes the rate due to the turbulence produced by the 'heavy'. If you are ever behind a 'heavy' for departure and wonder why you have to sit there for a minute, you are required to allow a 3 mile separation from a departing heavy jet. It's all about safety.
Woah that's some good information. My mother works for United and flies the 787 Dreamliner. We live in Houston so I always go to bush intercontinental to fly United. I've always wondered how it is to be a ground crew worker at big airport. Is it tough to load and unload bags and fuel aircraft?
AMAZING VIDEO .. the view, the ROAR, every thing in this video is amazing esp it's very rare to see .. I started shouting, GO GO GO FASTER FASTER like a maniac :D
That's pretty cool, I have a picture of me in a AA B738 in a parallel takeoff with another B738; but at DFW the runways are so far it made for a pretty bad photo/video. Great video!
Thanks 2018paulrobbinx ! It's very cool that Houston IAH has 2 runways so close together and that ATC let's them take off at the same time. I haven't seen it with heavies, though.
I live in Houston and I will tell you as long as this was in the middle of the day, I dont see one reason why this was not planned. Mid-day ops at Houston are not extremely congested on average days. The pilots could have easily communicated with ATC and made this happen with-out anyone behind them noticing a time issue. Cool stuff!
During peak times, tower control is split. There was probably two tower frequencies for 15L, and 15R when this happened. With that being said, neither aircraft knew when the other would start their takeoff roll but it just happened. And btw at IAH this is a almost every day thing. Every hour. Most are not synchronized but a few are.
Excellent video, thanks for posting. I could be mistaken, but, your airplane, 253 , was the rescue plane sent by Bethune to pick up that Navy crew that was being held by the Chinese for spying. I think the Navy P-3 was hit on the wing by a Chinese fighter jet.
I had taken N37253 from Cleveland to Chicago O’Hare on 12-2-21 for my 23rd birthday getaway in Chicago. I am going on another birthday getaway on 12-1-22. But unfortunately, I am heading too Florida for my 24th birthday getaway. So stay turned for those videos.
I was just in Houston back in September. My sister is a flight attendant there. There were 7 planes ahead of us for takeoff. Lol. I guess that’s normal in some airports. I live in Portland where no one comes unless there’s a solar eclipse lol 11-1-17
I was in a parallel takeoff one time I just forgot to record it. It was two United express Erj-145s taking off at the same time at bush, and I was in one of them.
UnitedFlyerHD of course, it could have been derated. That would explain the simultaneous rotation. they both calculated their thrust based on runway length.
"who rotate first wins the game"
HuHue no, who has less passengers and cargo and fuel wins the takeoff race!!!
That so amazing you can see two airplane parallel take off and landing together at San Francisco International Terminal?? Look like you want to... "airplane race"?? Oh.
who got V1 first wins the game
nono. Play chicken. Last to rotate wins
Out of all the parallel takeoff videos I've seen, this has to be my favorite!
Wow. Thank you very much!
moses wang
Same!
Nah, there just was a huge mirror next to the runway
@@konstanen shhhh

+SFAPowerhouse Thanks so much!
+UnitedFlyerHD Two airplanes taking off at the same time!!!
IKR!!! 😃
+SFAPowerhouse I saw it once when taking off from KSFO at night. So incredibly awesome to witness.
Not to be a party pooper, but this stuff is common at SFO when its busy. A great sight when its with two large planes, like a 747 or a A380.
So this is where they got the idea for the Fast and Furious 7 ending scene...
lol truuueee
lmfaooooo

How about going to Hobby?
I can't stop singing "See you again" in my head, when i see this video.
You go right, I go left !
Better be that rather than the other way!
The one time an Airline Pilot feels like a Blue Angel !
Simply one of the best videos on UA-cam....great work!
This is the once of a lifetime scenes when actually not in a movie. Outstanding video at IAH 15R and 15L
never really been able to appreciate the speed of an airliner on takeoff until now. Great video!!
Thank you!
Really cool video! Greetings from Japan!
Ilko Allexandroff thank you!
Rare when both taking off at once!! Also, BEAUTIFUL CMF56 engine buzzsaw, starting at 0:08!!
The most spectacular takeoff video i've ever seen for a single aisle bird ;)
race starts at 00:00
0:55 "3, 2, 1, Break!!!"
What an amazing parallel takeoff! Love it!!! Awesome video
Thanks Renjie Pan !
That was cool !!! Two United Airbuses takes off together I never see that happen
Thanks, but they are Boeings.
I always kept on seeing two planes flying from out of no where when I was driving on the highway
Wow, that was soo awesome!! :) Fantastic footage mate! Really enjoyed this one!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
This is epic I've seen and recorded my share of parallel takeoffs but non as in sync as this. Great job!
Thanks for the awesome compliment!
One of the most beautiful catches i ve ever seen
Beautiful video!! What a magnificent view!!! thank you!
Parallel take offs and landings are a symbol of good luck.
+Pinchie08 really? Didn't know that
+UnitedFlyerHD I only say that because you don't get to see two planes taking off side by side to often. That's why is a symbol of good luck.
Just like the blue angels, only with large airliners!
Surely the TCAS must be going crazy in the cockpit!
I didn't know that they could do that! Awesome catch man!
Yeah, I wonder how the pilots saw that one. But it's not that unusual at IAH, they just don't often leave at exactly the same time.
The roar of them engines😍
Wow amazing....it's CALLED race
I love seeing these kinds of takeoffs.
Me too! I loved experiencing it
Nice only in the U.S or Europe lol
Looks like the start of a roller coaster ride that has 2 sides competing with each other.
Really cool. Id love to see 2 747s doing same. Liked and subbed!!!
Thank you very much! I would love to see two heavies do that!
British Airways did that specifically for the boeing 747 retirement flight
Great footage and great buzzsaw noise!
Finally I have found a REAL parallel takeoff on youtube.
Thank you!
Brilliant man !
Great filming I don't usually zoom in and out on my camera again great job filming
+Hayden Sanders thank you!
What camera did you use to record? It has great sound quality, that ROAR is gorgeous.
THE BEST ONE OUT OF ALL AND THX 4 POSTING !
Welcome to the Houston Drag Racing Championships! LOL GREAT video.

+Cédric Guebs Thank you very much!
That is the first time I have ever seen that!! Liked a lot, and thanks for sharing:)
thank you! First time i've filmed it.
Thank goodness they turned in opposite directions.
Its as if they were training for an airshow. Well done to the pilots!
Best advertisement for United and Boeing ever
Awesome! Glad you filmed it! :)
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Spectacular video mate! Lucky to catch it & good for you!
Thanks Mate!
Best parallel vid ever! Can someone try to stabilize it a little bit?
Amazing parallel takeoff:)
The one you are in seemed to be climbing faster at first then the other one was like oh no. And went up fast lol great video
Kyle Rider Thanks!
happens at IAH everyday almost depending on the winds......... West Southwest departure east-northeast departures
Great video and 1st time I've ever saw this!
"It's been a long day...without you, my friend.."
It's like a formation short take off then you separate gets people motivated and excited.
That is so cool!! That's awesome you got it on video :-)
Thank you Benjamin! I was very fortunate to be on the right side of the plane and have my camera ready.
what an amazing scene!
AMAZING!
+Nickey thanks!
What a great video! Love it!
This is really really cool to experience!!!
Nice video!

Now all you need is some breakaway music! Navy folks will get it.
#Twinning. This is by the Rankin Rd. spotting site, too. Would’ve been really cool to see from the ground. Great video.
Wow! Amazing lucky catch of the aircraft taking off!
Aviatorspot Thank you very much!

woar like an airshow display!
Airline version of the blue angels
Isn't it counted as a near miss? It looks dangerous though.
Great rare catch mate. Liked a lot. :-)
Thanks very much! Glad you liked it.
Now THAT'S a parallel take-off!
Yes it was very nice to experience it!
Awesome take off!

i'm commenting this before watching the video.. I'm taking this as a race, whoever rotates first wins! cool who they are both united 737-800s
this is my favorit video 100%
romi syefa thanks for the compliment!
heh, who will win to be the best pilot in United Airlines.
Nice catch!
+evpaul3 thank you!
great video
cool video dude, strange and very cool! why did the captain released the thrust a bit so long after takeoff?
Thanks Miguel Iniguez . I'm not sure, but most flights I have been on, that's about the time when they reduce the thrust.
ok, cool, I find it that he reduced it way too long after takeoff, but no biggie, thnx for the reply
very nice video
thank you!
Awesome !! Thx for the Clip x))
Wow! Great video!
Thank you very much!
That's an amazing video of 737
Thank you hari reddy !
I wonder what the tcas was doing during this?
Yeah, I wonder too.
Can imagine the captain saying 'smoke dat fool man'! 😂
Cool shot!
thank you!
I was in a parallel takeoff one time I just forgot to record it. It was two United express Erj-145s taking off at the same time at bush, and I was in one of them.
+Thaddeus Wordlaw they are not uncommon at Bush, but I was fortunate to be in this one and capture it
+UnitedFlyerHD Oh ok thanks for letting me know! By the way 737-800 with or without scimitar winglets are my fav planes.
Fantastic without question!
Thank you!
this is an amazing video,,thank you
Thank you for your comment!
Beautiful!!
abraham navarro Thank you!
wonder if the pilots had bets? never thought this would be allowed?
What time was this flight
early afternoon probably
very long takeoff roll. Fully fuelled 737s?.
No, I believe they call this a "Derated takeoff" where they don't use full thrust because they have a 2 mile runway.
UnitedFlyerHD of course, it could have been derated. That would explain the simultaneous rotation. they both calculated their thrust based on runway length.
