I remember the first time I played ME3, I never played the other two games and it was time to choose between Geth or Quarian’s. I had chosen Quarians thinking nothing bad would happen...and then Tali died and I immediately regretted my decisions.
I just finished the trilogy for the first time today, I somehow didn't see a single spoiler for the last 10 years and knew nothing about what I was gonna experience. What a ride that was.

I kinda wish Shepard trilogy span in 5-10 years time period Shepard made friends with garrus ,wrex tali etc for 3 years (1,5half years actually cause Shepard died for 2 years) They're not actually "old friends" especially for liara and wrex that have 1000 years lifespans
Everyone here is saying they wish they could experience it for the first time, and as someone who is doing that rn, I gotta say the story is immersive as f*ck rn. Combat and transportation in that vehicle thingy tho is not the best (ME1)

Life gets in the way and you have other obligations but when you finally come back all the awesome memories flood back immediately. These are truly special games that defined a generation. And it's great to see it introduced to a new generation all these years after their releases. Going to be a nostalgia trip of epic proportions.
Mass Effect is like everyone's comfort show, only it's a looooooooong game that you have to do every sidequest during all of your playthroughs to feel complete.

Mass Effect is one of the greatest pieces of sci-fi literature of our generation. Yes, literature. The fact that it’s also a playable experience is really just the icing on the cake.
True. There are very few sci-fi stories in modern history on the same level as Mass Effect. Some people might hate me for this, but the quality of Mass Effect story is something that other more famous universes like Star Wars and Star Trek can't come even close (btw I like a lot SW and ST).

I would be down to see multiplayer added as an expansion afterwards. Ideally I'd love to see some campaign co-op but the game isn't really suited for it. I never played ME3 yet so I can't comment past hearing that is was under appreciated.

It makes me appreciate remastering old games because they could have been better. I love old games, but Mass Effect isn't an example of a game that was done well. Even if I enjoyed it at the time, it's one of the most notoriously buggy games released in the era before "nothing is ever complete, it's always in progress" that we're in now. Hopefully, this will be Mass Effect done right.

They know how much of a fan favorite he is. It's definitely not a coincidence that the obvious choice (the main character) doesn't get lines in the trailer, but one companion (among many) does.
This sounds cheesy but I used to tell myself “Shepard could do this and so can you” when I was scared or nervous and it always gave the courage I needed to move forward. The fact that these games are getting remastered and hopefully reaching a whole new wave of players, I am more than ecstatic, it’s beyond words

I was 14 years old and still had problems with reading english.I rememmber a day i get mess effect 1 disc at the store and pay for it with everything i had.I learnd so much thrugh reading and gameplay story that my teacher was amazed how my english emproved .I liked that game so much i play it 7-8 times with different stories ending etc. .Then when i saw mass effect 2 and 3.. trailers my heartrate jump to be able continiue the story.But when i saw this trailer after long years!! Damn it i cryed littlebit to realize how this change my life. Can't wait to relive my old days again!!
Another trilogy from an indie dev taught me English the same way. (See Creeper World, now features 4 games and a 5th that is not really in the series, but is linked to it)
This trailer makes me tear up every time I watch it, and I'm not ashamed to admit that. So many memories. So many emotions. So many memorable characters. Undisputable masterpiece. I'd pay my soul for the chance to erase it from my memory and play it just like the first time.
Hell yeah! Liara's character development was far the best part of ME2 for me, specially in Shadow Broker. I can't ever play this series without romancing Liara. She's the best.

Mass effect 2 and bioshock 1 are the best single player campaigns I've ever played. Resistance 2 was a cool game as well.

This will be the first time I've played these games in about 10 years. I'm so excited. It's like revisiting an old friend. Life gets in the way and you have other obligations but when you finally come back all the awesome memories flood back immediately. These are truly special games that defined a generation. And it's great to see it introduced to a new generation all these years after their releases.
Going to be a nostalgia trip of epic proportions.
Mass Effect is like everyone's comfort show, only it's a looooooooong game that you have to do every sidequest during all of your playthroughs to feel complete.

I would be down to see multiplayer added as an expansion afterwards. Ideally I'd love to see some campaign co-op but the game isn't really suited for it.

It makes me appreciate remastering old games because they could have been better. I love old games, but Mass Effect isn't an example of a game that was done well. Even if I enjoyed it at the time, it's one of the most notoriously buggy games released in the era before "nothing is ever complete, it's always in progress" that we're in now.
Hopefully, this will be Mass Effect done right.

I finally did it. I finished the trilogy.
It was one hell of a journey. Knowing all those characters, all the epic fights, the banter with your squadmates and crew. One of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

They know how much of a fan favorite he is. It's definitely not a coincidence that the obvious choice (the main character) doesn't get lines in the trailer, but one companion (among many) does.

This sounds cheesy but I used to tell myself “Shepard could do this and so can you” when I was scared or nervous and it always gave the courage I needed to move forward. The fact that these games are getting remastered and hopefully reaching a whole new wave of players, I am more than ecstatic, it’s beyond words

@@Gameknight-ok8zq It's not the company but the studio teams & budget. Rockstar didn't allocate much budget or an experienced team to the remasters. EA went all out on Mass Effect and even paid the original lead designer for feedback.

I was 14 years old and still had problems with reading english.I rememmber a day i get mess effect 1 disc at the store and pay for it with everything i had.I learnd so much thrugh reading and gameplay story that my teacher was amazed how my english emproved .I liked that game so much i play it 7-8 times with different stories ending etc. .Then when i saw mass effect 2 and 3.. trailers my heartrate jump to be able continiue the story.But when i saw this trailer after long years!! Damn it i cryed littlebit to realize how this change my life. Can't wait to relive my old days again!!

Another trilogy from an indie dev taught me English the same way. (See Creeper World, now features 4 games and a 5th that is not really in the series, but is linked to it)
This trailer makes me tear up every time I watch it, and I'm not ashamed to admit that. So many memories. So many emotions. So many memorable characters.

Hell yeah! Liara's character development was far the best part of ME2 for me, specially in Shadow Broker.
