- We put the boots on for the ‘Halfway There Shindig’ in Charleville! Slim Dusty’s son performs the famous song named after the town. The following night after Will devours a hangover pie we find a free camp to have campfire and a more relaxed night. Then the rain comes and we try to escape it at Charleville’s Cosmos centre before finding an awesome donation camp at Augathella!

We went through there once on the way to birdsville. It fkn pissed down the whole time we were there.
