    Gracias por la muestra de la prueba, tenía el concepto de la pérdida de potencia en el torque por pérdida de una fase en el motor. Pero tu video complemento mi estudio.

    this is the advantage of using vfd
    you can run a 3 phase motor with single phase supply or vice versa 3phase supply and single phase motor

    Hello Sir, very good and clear explanations. My question: Can I use a 230 volt 1 PH input , 3 PH output VFD to run a 1 PH motor? The reason for this is to change the frequency fro 50 HZ to 60 HZ. Thanks and keep up the good work.

    The suplly was 3 phase and you remove one wire. So the supply will be 2 phase not one.
    If you want to check with one phase disconnect to wire (phase) and connect neutral to replace 1 phase. The motor will not run because the voltage will drop to 230 volts.

      Use a scope then you will see only one phase between 2 lines.

    Nice and informative video. My question is, I have a 1.5kw 440v 3ph vfd, will it run using a 440V 1ph supply?

      Yes but it will draw higher current on supply side.. Same in what I did on the video supply 1phase only but still work but for sure will limit your vfd capacity.

    pls try with 1phse and neutral

    Sir why is it that the current at the Supply before the breaker is just 0.3 and the Current at the load side( at the VFD or motor) is 1.8 amps? Why is it that the current at the load side is higher. What is the explaination about that? I thought it must be the same. 3:17 🤔🤔

      The simpliest answer I can think is like this.. the input current is one component the "real" current (for watts) and the VFD output current has two components: 1.Real current (for watts) and the 2.Reactive current (for VARS)..
      Ivfd=√(Ir²+Iq²)

    Did you remove the capacitor in order to run the single phase motor?

    Can we run 3 phase motor by 1 phase supply through vfd

    1 phase not 50hz input to change 3phase 50hz is it posible

    Sir.. i have a question ..f i my power supply is 230 1phase ..must be my motor and vfd specs also is design for 3phase 220? Not 3phase 380?

      The proper way if your main source is 230V 1p then your motor and VFD is also design for single phase 230V
