I agree that this theme fit the Radiance better, but only from a blind standpoint (bearing in mind, I have played the game and beat this boss). I feel like the Radiance's theme fits better from a lore standpoint, while the Hollow Knight's fits the HK fight better because it's meant to be the "Ultimate Showdown" theme that new players experience as the finale first. On a first playthrough, you don't learn as much about the lore, but as you learn more of the lore about the Hollow Knight and the Radiance as you go for 100%, you slowly figure out that THK isn't the true enemy, but the Radiance is. So, whereas THK's theme starts intense, mirroring the player's thoughts of the boss on a first playthrough, The Radiance's starts more serious, because you, the player, know that you are no longer fighting an unknown, supposedly dangerous foe, but a dangerous monster that has enslaved an entire kingdom from within the mind of a vessel specifically trained to resist it. You are no longer afraid. You walked into the fight knowing what you were up against. Now, you are there to take it down and nothing more. Great vid btw
@JOHNNY TSIMOGIANNIS Definitely, Especially the Pale King and his desperate measures.....So many of the Ghost’s, Hornet’s and THK’s Siblings, just gone.....THK’s mind snatched up BY the Radiance. It just feels more fitting to drag her into the void with the rest of us while Sealed Vessel’s playing. Path of Pain Version hit the nail on the head too.
The part of sealed vessel fits perfectly with the climb phase. I might pair these two in my Radiant Radiance completion, especially because the radiance music is muffled during the climb phase
the part where ghost just challenges the radiance to a 1v1 is fucking Hilarious to me cause ghost is just like, *pulls out nail* "1V1 ME, UR TRASH" and Radiance is like, "THE FUCK YOU SAY MY NIGGA"
