Thank you so much for this video, I really needed the motivation that I could do all of this myself. My school honestly sucks, and we've gone through long dry spells without teachers for almost all of our subjects. For those subjects we do have teachers for, they're pretty bad. They're entirely new to IB so most of them have no idea about what to do. Also you know how you said in the video that there must be at least one person in each IB school who gets good results? Um no. The highest that any IB student from our school has ever gotten is a 35, and several students don't get their diploma.
I know that feeling Sherin, being in a terrible IB school sucks. But like you said, you can do it all by yourself! Sure it's probably going to be tougher than if you were at a better school, but again, resources and an informed community is online which you can use to get the right info. All it takes is studying smart and putting in the effort. Just because it's not been done before, doesn't mean it can't. I mean somebody in every school got the first 45 right? Smart > Hard will take you very far! I hope it works out and DM me on insta @iblikecole if you want have any questions.

+Rudaina K EE's is not really my expertise - the advice is kinda the same with learning yourself. Find ace samples online, find patterns and use implement in your EE. Math HL is coming, definitely one of my priorities!

What IB subject combination gives the widest options of choosing university courses?
Take HL Physics, Math AA, Chemistry. And any SL subjects. These are going to open many doors for you.

Same with me m8. Though our syllabus overlapped a lot so it was basically the same thing

My school is just so terrible right now. I'm living in China btw. Before we also had History, Geography, and ITGS. I really wanted to take history! But now for group 3, we only have economics and business management Well, we do have psychology but it's delivered via Zoom. Can you guys imagine that? As an MYP5 student that is almost moving into DP, I really don't know what to do😭
You gotta grind and hustle, the IB is way more doable than you think. You can do it!

3 TOK teachers, 3 Biz HR teachers, 2 Math Teachers, 2 languages math teachers? Sounds like the school I am going to attend next year lmfao

Terrible school...like Bexley Grammar School??? They have no expertise and are very bad at helping me understand the actual topic. I had to learn them myself at the end. ;( Go to other Kent schools for IB Computer Science like Dartford Grammar for boys. That is the only better option.
Any tips for History IAs? Our class is kinda doomed...

How hard is HL math, physics, chemistry, economics, SL, english lal a, mandarin b?
+stardustdragon121212 I think it makes it more hard that you have so many of these hard subjects, which each require a lot individual time from you. So it will take a lot of longer to give quality studying time to each one, and thus get a 7 from each one. As opposed to just having Math HL being the only cray subject you take and spending a lot of time to secure a 7 at it as well as giving time to your other subjects. But hey, if you love the subjects, and you're willing to put in the effort, I'm sure you could ace that subject combination!

+Yarubiks66 Comp Sci isn't a prerequisite for most comp sci courses. Math HL is. A lot of the fundamentals are taught in your first year.
