There are a lot of people who say that Romelu Lukaku is garbage simply because they don’t like him. If you actually look objectively, you’ll find out that he is a world class striker, way better than Brazilian Ronaldo. He is physically stronger, more clinical inside the penalty area and better at dribbling. Lukaku is only 25 and already has 125 career Premier League goals. Explain to me how he is not good? He plays in the highest level league in the world and is consistently up against the very best. He’s carried weaker clubs like West Bromwich and Everton to success. He’s much more proven and accomplished than Lionel Messi. The Argentine is only capable of playing in his comfort zone where he is carried by legendary teammates and coaches. Yet he still chokes on the big occasion. Messi is too scared to leave the amateur league La Liga. He does not have what it takes to prove himself at a truly high level like Lukaku has done in the Premier League.

Di Maria also failed to impressed due to Van Gaal's lack of ability to adapt to the kind of players he has. I don't think u can call any attacking player under Van Gaal a flop as under Van gaal we took less shots on average per game than Sunderland under Allardyce
Anderson and Hargreaves were not flops. Hargreaves was an integral part of the CL winning team and was worth every penny, and Anderson was a great passed and just suffered with a few injuries and had to compete with Carrick and Scholes for minutes.
DiMaria had the same number of goals and assists as Pogba does this season (excluding penalties). If DiMaria is a flop, then Pogba who cost twice as much is also a flop.
It's not gonna end this soon, but at least I wanna see a Manchester United that's a joy to watch. Seems like Ole is on the right path, but he has been given too much to deal with. Veron was no flop! He was great in Europe that year. I remember one goal he scored on the volley after flicking the ball up off the ground! He just happened to play with Roy Keane who ruled the mid field. I saw Veron play for Estudiantes in a Copa Liberatadores final and he was magnificent! He was in his mid to late 30s then, but you could see how he ruled the mid field. It's a shame, he had so much to give, the trouble was United already had their midfield general.
