The English Nut X Jane De Suza (Author: The Talking Book)
The English Nut chats with Jane De Suza, author of The Talking Book. This book explores how we human beings came to speak English and other languages. It's written in an engaging fashion to appeal to youngsters, but anyone wanting to deepen their knowledge of the subject should pick it up.
Listen to the first episode of our conversation to discover the answers to these questions: Do elephants and other animals communicate with each other the way humans do? Why do I call myself The English Nut? How are new words born? Where do the words 'salary' and 'quarantine' come from? What new words were invented during the pandemic? What is the fascinating custom behind the German word 'Polterabend'?

Loved the conversation. Could you make a short video on word stress and sentence stress?

I am so happy to see your work brother. To see you succeed. It is actually much more satisfying because I have been connected to your channel since it's inception.
To you, to me & all the english nuts out there 🎉 (or the language nuts out there, I really love learning new languages, would you consider yourself as English nut or a language nut?)

Please correct the name of the book in the title, its the 'talking' book not 'speaking' book.
