I like Hanna Louise Postons strategy for more mindful shopping. She only browses for things on weekends. And she said that the excitement of the searching for stuff is mostly gone until the weekend and she doesn’t buy as much bc she recognizes until she is „allowed“ to browse for stuff she doesn’t really care so much about it anymore.
Every time I look at a CT lipstick, I remember the allergic reaction I had to the Jk Magic one, and it makes me feel ill. Not the best way to talk myself out of purchasing, but very very effective.
I’ve been trying to use up my Chanel rose bronze and jersey for over a year! Their blushes just last forever and ever don’t need any more unless it’s a wow color!
It’s an easy pass for me on all these products-the only product I’m interested in is the Natasha Denona blue eyeshadow mini-I’m not sure I’ll get it but I like it.
I wonder if there are also other people who actually are discouraged from buying something just because it’s from a limited edition, I try new cosmetics to find „my perfect match” for each make-up category/shade and I don’t like the situation that I really love something but I know that once I run out of it I won’t be able to buy it again and I have to start searching again 😜 (maybe the only thing I would buy from a limited edition is an eyeshadow palette because they last very long time and in a few years there will be another one to obsess about, but any other thing - not really 😅)
I stupidly bought that Chanel symbols Pearl highlighter. It's basically their version of How Many Karats by Fenty. So just go buy that, because it's cheaper and the formula is nicer.

I did get the CT lipstick in Mark of a Kiss after going through my 5 reds and discovering there were no true neutral ones. Blue red or brick red was all I had. After this and the new Adept palette I spent all month's makeup money in the first 2 days of February!

Always a pleasure to watch this kind of videos. I am really not tempted by anything you showed us. In general, I find most releases to be not of interest to me lately. I recently got one of the Devotion Liquid Lipsticks by Dolce e Gabbana (Gratitudine) and I am in love, so I am looking forward to further releases from the brand. However, that's about it. Unless Pat gives us a super Mothership, I feel quite "meh" about everything.
Thus far this year , I honestly haven't wanted anything I've seen from Dior, Chanel but ooohh the Smoke palette is screaming my name plus my famous horse was Four Winds SMOKE. Ugh. Gotta wait on Lisa though.

I realize that this is a luxury make up channel. But I found an exact match and texture for the Charlotte Tilbury Kissing lipstick Rose to Fame. I bought the Rose to Fame. Then I was playing around with my lipsticks. I noticed that the L’Oréal Color Riche in shade 137, Berry Parisienne, is an exact match. They’re not just similar. They are the same. I hope I don’t offend anyone with this comment.
Her lipstick formula is definitely not unique at all. Plenty creamy lipsticks feel the same she her shades already exist plenty in drugstore as she is years behind in releasing cool tones.
I am also trying the touch of blue eyeshadow in the corners of the eyes today. I think you did a much better job than I....but I am enjoying it so far. ♥

Almost everyone I saw had a ton of fallout with their shimmer shades. Not everyone said it but you could sure see it. And enough people said over the day the shimmer will end all over your face. Doesn't sound intriguing to me. ND is definitely better
I was doing really well up to the point you mentioned new lipsticks from Lisa Eldridge 😠. I can pass on almost everything you mentioned (I’m still loving that pink Chanel quad 😏) but will I be strong enough to turn the other cheek when those lipsticks are thrown into the arena??? BTW can I say how refreshing it is for a content creator not to overline her lips?! I just can’t get past the image of Widow Twanky or a kid whose chocolate milk has left a tide mark 🤷🏻♀️. I can see that the makeup is absolutely flawless, applied with the technique only a professional can achieve …… and then it’s all spoiled for me when the overlined pout is added. Nooooo!!!!!

I have been waiting AGES for her to release some true cool pinks so I splurged on all 5 and I promise you they are perfection for those of us who adore her kissing formula but sadly her shades turn peach/orange/brown on us. These pinks are my favorite lipsticks of ALL TIME - or at least dating back 25 years to the MAC Viva Glam mauve which is the only lippie I repurchased over and over. That's saying a lot my friend. Pat McGrath has pulled some shady SH**. Remember when she took one of her highlighters and stuck it in an new release eyeshadow palette? I did not pick up on that because I never remember the names of anything … but other people did. That was not cool. Then, last year, when she released her Star Wars collection… she slapped a Star Wars bumper sticker onto a former Mothership it was either subversive or sublime I don’t remember at of course full price… Meanwhile the same pallet had been on sale on her website at a huge discount for months leading up to the Star Wars release. That was really really shady… But she got rid of that old stock that she was selling at 40% off and got full price for it, and all she did was slap a sticker on it. What did her customers get? Nobody knew it was a sticker until you saw it in person.

You may have a lot of CT lipsticks (like I do), but you don't have these pinks. They are actually pink on the lips not just pink in name only. Also, the cases...lovely. One of these would make a nice Valentine's Day gift. Just a thought...

I actually really like the Chanel blush duo because sometimes I use coral and sometimes pink. They can be used separately or together, so there are three looks in that compact. I also love the Chanel stick highlighter. I love the Chanel eyeshadow you are wearing today; especially the touch of blue in the inner corner!
Well I definitely don't where foundation every day at all, I have very nice once ( thanks to my Lord) ...I definitely know what I like ...and agree waiting. My low buy is going….. I am interested in the YSL bronzer and a Dior Beauty release we will see. I throughly enjoy the products I have in both brands. Hopefully, they are not overly scented. Also the Prada foundation looks interesting but it’s not a priority. I have been able to resist most of the high end releases thus far Typically it’s the opposite 🤔Love PM highlighters so good. I hope these brand aren’t heavy on the bronzer releases. I’m a sucker for bronzer! I was so attracted to that ND release but like you said how often would I actually wear it. Plus I’m not a fan of holiday packaging. I decided to pass. Agreed it’s best to wait awhile before purchasing
The blush looks boring… although I can see why Chanel chose a matte blush, but this collection because the eyeshadow pallets are all shimmers.. at least they look like all shimmer. The eyeshadow palette looks really pretty though 😬 like really pretty… I’m liking the peach and pinks combination. I know I don’t need it. It reminds me of a Pat McGrath quad. I forget the name of it, I have it and it is lovely. The peach in the Pat McGrath is so reflective it’s beautiful! What the hell is the name of that quad? I cannot remember any of Pat McGrath’s names on her products except, of course, Divine Rose because she beat that with a dead horse. 👈 it never dawned on me when I see it in print how awful that saying is. What is being beaten? And why would you use a dead horse? It really doesn’t make sense does it?

I wish I bought more than one tube of pink soap because it's my favourite and I ran out of it ages ago. I wish she would restock it. I kept hoping she will but I'm losing hope now. Have you tried MAC or drugstore? I have multiple liquid highlighters and strobe creams and they're all very similar in effect.

Remember when she took one of her highlighters and stuck it in an new release eyeshadow palette?
I did not pick up on that because I never remember the names of anything … but other people did. That was not cool.
Then, last year, when she released her Star Wars collection… she slapped a Star Wars bumper sticker onto a former Mothership it was either subversive or sublime I don’t remember at of course full price… Meanwhile the same pallet had been on sale on her website at a huge discount for months leading up to the Star Wars release. That was really really shady…
But she got rid of that old stock that she was selling at 40% off and got full price for it, and all she did was slap a sticker on it.
What did her customers get? Nobody knew it was a sticker until you saw it in person.
Please forgive me, I don't mean to be rude but you are trying to make me not buy these products, then why do you have links attached to the videos for us to buy?

You may have a lot of CT lipsticks (like I do), but you don't have these pinks. They are actually pink on the lips not just pink in name only. Also, the cases...lovely. One of these would make a nice Valentine's Day gift. Just a thought...

I actually really like the Chanel blush duo because sometimes I use coral and sometimes pink. They can be used separately or together, so there are three looks in that compact. I also love the Chanel stick highlighter. I love the Chanel eyeshadow you are wearing today; especially the touch of blue in the inner corner!

Well I definitely don't where foundation every day at all, I have very nice once ( thanks to my Lord) ...I definitely know what I like ...and agree waiting. Now nice Lipstick 💄 oh boy ..that I have to be careful.
I go make myself look at what I have Including Guerlain satin lipstick with those cool cases, I think to myself ..be real 😊😅
My low buy is going….. I am interested in the YSL bronzer and a Dior Beauty release we will see. I throughly enjoy the products I have in both brands. Hopefully, they are not overly scented. Also the Prada foundation looks interesting but it’s not a priority. I have been able to resist most of the high end releases thus far Typically it’s the opposite 🤔Love PM highlighters so good. I hope these brand aren’t heavy on the bronzer releases. I’m a sucker for bronzer! I was so attracted to that ND release but like you said how often would I actually wear it. Plus I’m not a fan of holiday packaging. I decided to pass. Agreed it’s best to wait awhile before purchasing
The blush looks boring… although I can see why Chanel chose a matte blush, but this collection because the eyeshadow pallets are all shimmers.. at least they look like all shimmer.
The eyeshadow palette looks really pretty though 😬 like really pretty… I’m liking the peach and pinks combination. I know I don’t need it. It reminds me of a Pat McGrath quad. I forget the name of it, I have it and it is lovely. The peach in the Pat McGrath is so reflective it’s beautiful!

I cannot remember any of Pat McGrath’s names on her products except, of course, Divine Rose because she beat that with a dead horse. 👈 it never dawned on me when I see it in print how awful that saying is.

Informative and useful as always. Do you know anything about Lisa's blushes? Did she give up on restocking them? I wish I bought more than one tube of pink soap because it's my favourite and I ran out of it ages ago. I wish she would restock it. I kept hoping she will but I'm losing hope now. Would westman atelier cream blush be a good alternative?
