Hi David :-) thank you, Haxby is a little more towards York it's a bit flatter round there, I'll see about a ride to that neck of the woods and get some vids posted for ya :-)
Hi Lunmad that route is as follows. Haxby, Strensall then across the moor (mind the cattle grids and sheep across the common) then on to Flaxton, Turn right towards the A64, At A64 turn left then take the immediate Right to Claxton. Take next left before SandHutton through BUTTERCRAMBE MOOR WOODS, (It was my original spelling that was wrong sorry mate its been a long time) After the woods you come to a Tee (Left to Stamford Bridge) or my favorite Left to Eddlethorpe, take the left turn through the village and onto Kirkham Abby, across the bridge and up the hill. At the top take a left through Crambe then turn right on to Riders Lane (You may have to open a gate I recall) at the end turn right to Baton Le Willows and swing back your way. A nice ride on a sunny day with lots of spots for a cuppa along the way.
Cheers John :-) I'll have to organise a trip down to your neck of the woods, we could certainly give your Bonnie a once over, twice! I must get round to doing the TS125 I have I reckon a set of tyres and it'll past a test.
Hi David :-) My silencers are Dunstall megaphone (replicas) and the headers I use are large with no balance pipe, I also have velocity stacks on the carbs, which are not much use if you have dusty conditions.
Thanks for the upload John. It is a good old pull up Chimney Bank isn't it, but the bike sounded great. No pinking, retarding the timing seems to have fixed it. Bike sounded great. all the best
Hi David and Mary-Ann :-) it's a pleasure, I do like Chimney Bank, the bike pulled great. After I got home I decided to change the plugs as I had been running N5's and disaster struck I stripped one!! not to worry all done now I did both plugs with inserts as they had been iffy for a while. So I have them repair vids to edit and upload now. All in a days owning a Bonnie :-D
Hi Otis :-) most of my vids are 480p I keep the setting as my cards last a lot longer and the upload time are very much shorter. I'm as surprised as you are at the 4.1k subs and over 2 million hits now :-O
I like watching your vids a lot more than a bunch of the motovloggers because I watch riding for the riding because I can't. I live vicariously through other people riding and the fact that you are on an old Bonnie makes it that much better. That sound is iconic for a reason and it's why I HATE Hinkley for ruining Triumphs. The new Nortons at least sound like Nortons. There's no reason why Hinkley couldn't make that thing they call a Bonneville sound like one, let alone be 100lbs lighter.
Hi Albert :-) I love the back roads, or cow tracks as some of my mates call them :-D the old brit iron is designed for this type of road, lots of hills, bends and gear changes, smashing
Fab video and brought back some lovley memories of when I road around those roads when I lived in Haxby. Keep em coming young man 😊😊😊😊

Hi Lunmad I love the sound your bike makes and need some new exausts for my bike. Can you advise me what you use?
