- Thank you for watching my Apple Pie Ribs video. On this video, I smoked 2 racks of spare pork ribs and I seasoned both racks with an Apple Pie rub from PS Seasoning that was really tasty! One one rack of ribs, I used an apple habanero bbq sauce from Head Country and that paired with the PS Seasoning Apple Pie Rub was so darn good!
Thanks for watching!

I've always said that ribs should be dessert :)
Head Country Apple Habanero is my favorite glaze for ribs. I always come back to that sauce.
It's good stuff for sure. I wish it was a bit more spicy. 🤘
*WAY TO GO JOE!!!!*
Thanks Eddie!👍
Yes sir head country apple Habanero is great and I will have to get that rub great cook!

Those ribs look insane. And apple pie for the win. Those look so dang good.
thank you, thank you, thank you !!!
Thank you for watching.👍
Man oh man. I bet those things are 💣
They really were. A bit more rub when wrapped and maybe a little butter would be delicious.👍
Outstanding‼️ You are a fabulous teacher👍
Hehe 😆..... 😆..... Any Vanille Ice Cream as a side 😆. Those Ribs must of tasted delicious. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
The ice cream might pair well with theses. 😁 Thanks for watching buddy.👍
Joe, you're a temptation bbq genius! Apple pie ribs, that Is Willy Wonka creation.. and they looked sensational!😍😍 Bravo Sir!!
Hello Ramona! Thank you so much for watching. Willy Wonka was one of my favorite movies growing up.👍
Awesome job joe!!
Thank you brother JB!🤘
Where there’s Smokin’ Joe there is fire!🔥
Awesome ribs dude!!!!
Great looking ribs I bet that was some good eating.
FYI During the Texas trophy hunting show in San Antonio, Houston and Fort Worth Head Country has will have a booth and they sell items (rubs, sauces and marinades) that you can only get at the show. There’s a lot more products then just what the stores around town sells.
Thanks for sharing....
I've had this seasoning in the cupboard for awhile. I'll have to try it on some pork of some sort. Sweet and heat are perfect Joe! Great video as always! - Mac
Been waiting on this one 💯✊🏾
👍 Thanks for watching Andrew!
Glad to have seen your video. Been using that rub for a while and love it. I use it with Heath Riles Apple and McCormick apple cinnamon and wrap with an apple butter and a little more PS apple pie. Finish them with apple cinnamon from Triple 9 Swine. They might be a little apple forward but damn, apple cinnamon with pork ribs just comes out tasty.
Oh man Troy! I'm trying this. Thanks for watching.👍
Heck yeah, that's some really good seasoning from PS! I've been wanting to try it on ribs as well. Looked delicious Joe!
Definitely add more when you wrap and a good glaze or sauce takes it over the top! Thanks for watching Rus!🤘
Looks good fam, keep up the good work
Thank you Chris!🤘
Great looking ribs Joe!!! Very nice. I hope ya'll stay warmer than us. Supposed to be Zero here Monday morning☹☹
Thanks Mark. This weather got worse this week. Crazy weather for sure. 👍
They both look good but the ones with that sauce 👌 Another great cook Joe!
Hey brother Ryan! The sauce was really good. Thanks for watching bro!🤘
Great lookin ribs Joe as always.
Awesome flavor profile on those Joe. That looks amazing and a unique twist I’ll bet people would wow over. That is exactly the same time and temp I use for my ribs but I usually put them on meat side down at the wrap. I like this better because mine sometimes get too tender and fall apart. Thanks for sharing brother. Oh and the Kosmos Q Apple habanero rib glaze is amazing too! Have a great weekend!
Hey Gary! I was a meat side down guy too but the ribs do get a little too tender as you mentioned. This sauce was good but I think the Kosmos has a slight advantage as it's a little hotter. Thanks for watching buddy.👍
Haha... my grandmother would say, "waste not, want not" with tossing ribs... lol... enjoyed this video! 😎🙌🏽
Thanks so much Cyco!👍
Now granny has run off with some bikers. Great ribs Joe!
*** damn, those ribs look amazing Joe. this along with malcom's recipe, i really have to make these style ribs soon!!
Thank you. I would add a little SPG and some more rub when you wrap them in foil. 👍
That’s a really nice brush.
Ha, interesting flavor profile. No mention of those succulent rib tips? Those are very popular up here in Detroit. I prefer them to ribs!
Ribs look great! I use that sauce all the time on ribs and chicken. I usually add some liquid honey and a little bit of apple cider vinegar to it.
That's sojnd so good. I wish it was a bit more spicy but it's really good. 👍
Looks great! 1st on my list to try once the temp gets above 15 degrees here.
Did you use apple for the smoke? Thanks
Thank you Michael! I used a Championship pellet from B&B which has pecan, cheery & oak. Thanks for watching.👍
Thanks, Joe
Joe those turned out good. Id like a few bones of the plain rack
Hey Taylor! Thanks for watching buddy 👍

Nice set of bones there Brother. What I would give if the weather was were I could get outside and cook. 8 degree's Starting tomorrow up to 8 inches of snow.
Hey Britt! What a difference a week makes. It was snowing and 17° out today. Thanks for watching buddy.👍
Hey Joe, another great video. My grandma used to say if you didn’t’ make the crust, it wasn’t a homemade apple pie. Noticed you mentioned that you wished you had added more rub at the wrap. Anything else? Butter? Honey? Brown sugar? Plenty of brown sugar in an apple pie. Looked homemade to me. Question: when you talk about an under “cut glove” - where can I get those? Best, Joe
Hello Joseph. I would add some butter and maybe some brown sugar too. Here are the gloves buddy. www.amazon.com/Dowellife-Resistant-Protection-Shucking-Processing/dp/B06XBGR2L9/ref=sxin_15?ascsubtag=amzn1.osa.8e41a944-ea4e-4c8f-85f2-ce6ef4a93bcb.ATVPDKIKX0DER.en_US&creativeASIN=B06XBGR2L9&cv_ct_cx=cut+resistant+gloves&cv_ct_id=amzn1.osa.8e41a944-ea4e-4c8f-85f2-ce6ef4a93bcb.ATVPDKIKX0DER.en_US&cv_ct_pg=search&cv_ct_we=asin&cv_ct_wn=osp-single-source&dchild=1&keywords=cut+resistant+gloves&linkCode=oas&pd_rd_i=B06XBGR2L9&pd_rd_r=f75a1441-56b2-42e1-bdf0-cf8b7070dbbe&pd_rd_w=NrsEd&pd_rd_wg=1DuWO&pf_rd_p=3e18a439-8c39-4e1f-88e9-9bf855097ee8&pf_rd_r=06GPVS3DM4022D0PJMW9&qid=1613361964&sprefix=cut+resi&sr=1-1-58695269-0102-48b5-9948-f6c6783c4516&tag=the-angle-20

Hello Mike, I use post oak. 👍
@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ I love your videos Joe! Keep up the great work. The community needs people like you.
Joe, can you do a knife sharpening video? Thanks
Hey Marty, Absolutely i will next time I sharpen my knives. 👍
Where can i get my hands on this
The rub can be found at psseasoning.com
Ok, Joe, I've got a proposition. I just watched Jeremy Yoder, Mad Scientist BBQ, do a video where he compared two briskets. One brisket was done his normal way and the other, he used beef tallow in the wrap in order to reach Aaron Franklin like results. He's convinced Aaron uses it in his wraps to keep everything super juicy. His results are quite remarkable. I think that you and all the other BBQ UA-camrs should also perform this experiment to see how legit it really is. I believe Jeremy but every brisket is different and maybe his juicier one had better marbling, I don't know. But get them all to join in, get T-Roy, Ry, Dawgfather, Ballistic BBQ, James, BabyBack Maniac Justin, Chef Tom Jackson with allthingsBBQ, Guga, CJ's Que, Malcom Reed, Harry Soo, BBQ by Biggs, Swine Life, Everyday BBQ, Fat E's BBQ, and anyone else I'm leaving out. I wanna know if this is the key to Aaron's brisket. This is possibly a total game-changer.
I've been to Franklin bbq and they don't use tallow. Briskets produce a ton of tallow on their own if you use a prime, CAB OR Waygu especially.👍
Sup Joe
Howdy!🤘
Must be nice to use the best free stuff from sponsors. The rest of us real back yard BBQ smokers will make great smoked BBQ with t h what we got .
Man please I cook the whole rib. I'm not cutting off nothing. I'm not in a competition. These are backyard in a black neighborhood ribs
Thanks for watching Carlos.👍
Joe my Granny was asking me why she was walking around barefoot
🤣 My grandmother was always telling me not to step on a cold floor barefooted. Now that I'm older, I still don't wear socks or shoes around the house. 😁👍
Smokin Joe, your making me FATTER
Apple pie ribs? Is that legal?
No it's not but I like breaking the rules.😁🤘
