For those who don't know, monikers for top level adjectives are limited in the manufacturing world; Pro and Ultra are about the only ones that make any sense, so no Ultra doesn't belong to Samsung, just like Pro doesnt belong to whoever used it first.

I literally just picked up the 6 for a good deal and with the trade in credit from Samsung I could actually buy the ultra without losing money😅 But idk if it's really worth it for me. I'm pretty happy with the 6 classic 47mm

If anything, it looks more like a Panerai Radiomir. The orange band and the button are from Garmin, the button being orang is from Apple, but I wouldn’t call that a copy..
I mean the AWU can be used as a dive computer (I use it for spear fishing) and can be used for flying with the Foreflight app (I use it while flying) while having some of the best sensors on the market. Samsung has a history of poor sensors and can't be used for diving. I also don't see a Foreflight app in the app store

This is for a very active person and if you're not into all the health features this thing is a total waste of money and you need to move down to the watch7.

@peganmiha the straps aren't the same at all, there's 6 variants of which the orange one is similar, yet there is differences. Mainly the whole body is very different, it looks inspired by some models of Panerai watches and the only other similarity is the orange crown/button. I think people are overreacting when comparing the Samsung and Apple Watch Ultra tbh

Do your research before you throw accusations. Samsung coppied themselves, not Apple. The design is common in many normal watches (Hermes f.e.), a lot years back, and the orange strap along with its design is not apple's either, it's pretty common in outdoor activity watches. You are getting exposed, watch it.

Correct. The Watch Ultra has a new mechanism. The normal 7 does still have the older mechanism though.
