Book journaling is my favourite kind of writing. My 8th grade English teacher gave me a book called "The Beacon at Alexandria" by Gillian Bradshaw, which was about a roman woman who wants to be a doctor. He told me "this book was written for young women like you." I always believed stories come to us when we need them, and they travel through people, so in many ways to me, book talk is the most important talk! Julie D'Aubigny's story reminds me of the Chevalier D'eon, who was someone else that lived their life in an extraordinary way and so very much on their own terms. Thank you for this book recommendation! I am so happy to see you posting again, welcome back

Book journaling is something I want to do more of! I'm currently reading another great book that I know will become a video. Thank you so much for your book recommendation! I have not heard about "The Beacon at Alexandria" before. And it is great to be back. I missed this phenomenal community.

Loved the soundtrack. Where can I get it? What are the song titles? I enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Thanks for your work and info on the music.

Love to see you back again! I realy enjoy you're way of journaling and you're penmanship is amazing! I will definitely be looking into the goddess... you inspire me to do my own book journaling more loosely instead of just words.

Oh maybe you'd like "Gentleman Jack" or Anne Lister too, I watched the series but I'd love to read her published diary one day. I'm going to look into Goddess. It sounds like the perfect read.

I'm so glad you mentioned Gentleman Jack! I've watched the first season twice! I did also get the book with her diary entries but haven't gotten to it yet. There will definitely be a video about her when I do!

I'm fortunate that I live fairly close to Shibden Hall......well worth a visit 🙂. There is a journal/notebook/dairy on Etsy (Listerwick Press) which I purchased and sent to someone in the USA. It looked ok.
'Ladies of Llangollen' is another very interesting book to read 🙂

I haven't read the book you're talking about but I'm intrigued so I'll make sure to add it to my TBR ✨

Thank you for this inspiring video. I'm looking at the book now and am always grateful for reading with strong women leads; we all need role models from time to time. Do you have a list of the products you have used in this video? The fountain pen with the hint of a red color is what I'm most interested in knowing about.

Agreed! I've been on a binge lately on reading about remarkable women. There will definitely be more videos like this throughout the year!
The fountain pen is the Platinum Century 3776 in Bourgogne. I'm also using a Manuscript dip pen + nib and Rhodia A6 dotted notebook.
