The family of the late sergeant Kipyegon Kenei is at the Chiromo Mortuary

Police have kept the deceased officer's body under protection at the morgue as they carry on with investigations. Kenei an AP officer was found dead on Wednesday, in his Imara Daima house, with a bullet wound in the head. He had been a security officer at Deputy President William Ruto's Harambee Annex office.
