I have bought those sandals on my trip to Pakistan about Four years ago they are very comfy and good looking sandals, I don’t use them a lot because we have a short summer in Switzerland 🇨🇭 The sandals are still in good shape awesome quality leather. You definitely feel like a king or great warrior after wearing these sandals. Enjoy your time

What's funny is that these are expensive for Pakistani standards. The average of these would be about £15. These are much thicker than normal pairs, though, so I can see why they were a bit more expensive.
I really appreciate the amount of respect that you show toward the people and the culture. I admire how you pause when the prayers (azan) are on loud speaker. You are representing Americans in a way that we need to see more of.

My friend bought some similar type of shoes made by a British company in the UK and paid £249, no where near the great quality of those that Max has purchased. In fact Max has paid nearly 10 times less for a better quality shoe. Wow 👌

That was a copy of the Peshawari shoes of Pakistan and I know he sold them very expensive..😊. ..but still nowhere as good as the real handmade Peshawari Sandles

In my time spent in Pakistan, all I saw was amazing hospitality, landscape, food, music, and the most welcoming people.
On my visit to Pakistan for the first time ever, I distinctly remember these days.
I was first introduced to the country by my Pakistani roommates many years ago when I was 18 and living in London. Their stories had piqued my interest right away. Finally, after all this time, I got the chance to come to Pakistan. It took me two months to plan my trip and included many nights of researching what to do and where to go.
Max now you look like a complete Pathan after wearing this Peshawari sandles. Really respect your respect for the workers. Lots of love from Pakistan

When I first saw this video title I laughed so much. I think everyone would like to wear Mr Khan’s shoes 👟 one of the greatest cricket 🏏 players of our time. I’ve followed Imran since a youth and he’s played at my local ground and the world renowned Trent Bridge many many times here in Nottingham England 🏴 Good to see all these locally made shoes / sandals, as always you have to have more Chai ☕️ Cheers Max.

hospitality of our people's is great this hospitality you will never see in other countries for a guest bring kawaa after eating stuff and the same price which locals paying for these sandals they demand and really we feel very happy you came to peshawar and shown our culture respect to the world ..
For the past two decades I have been wearing my peshawari sandals in Canada everyday from March to November. A well made pair of peshawaris are very comfortable and extremely rugged. My pairs have lasted over a decade.

They’re called Peshawari chappals, the kind Imran Khan wears.
We call them SAPLAI. in Pashto , those in shop speak Pashto but spoke in Urdu for Chris .
The one imran Khan wears have thick sole and are called "kaptaan" Chappal kaptaan is captain in urdu

Fun fact Superstar Shah Rukh Khans family is from Peshawar, his father was born there and he is a Pashtun, Shah Rukh also has these Pashtun shoes supplied from a specific shop in peshawar as they are his favourite type of footwear.
People here in Pakistan 🇵🇰 wear these shoes in mountains and they go on for years 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰 it's a nice thing that you could buy here in Pakistan 🇵🇰

How often do you actually get to sit down and drink tea and eat with the people that made your shoes? The majority of us buy mass made shoes made in some factory by people who perhaps do not have the best working conditions, however what you have experienced is something unique.
yup these big corporate's are killing the world, they are the blackholes of money and also dreams of many. i would love to live a in world where everybody has a chance to perfect his skills and equal opportunity with small local businesses instead of big malls and their chains, big food chains etc.

Original leather material,workers salaries and other expenses, the seller just earned 1000 or 2000 rupees in those sandals which you bought.They are happy for low profit.

Max, I don't know if you know that already but Kaptaan is the Urdu adaptation of the word Captain. And our Khan sahab was the most famous captain that we had that's why He's also called kaptaan even when he's not a cricketer anymore. And that shop has that name because of him.
