Ace built a beautiful hospital in Tagum City, invited us to invest at the rate of about $100.00 per month. We began the payments and then were informed that none of the discounts would go into effect until the balance was paid in full. Most Filipinos are making payments. We chose to wait as, not quite sure where we will land. Iloilo and Cebu are what we are seriously looking at.
Interesting. We didn't know about the monthly installments, thank you for sharing. Both are awesome places. Iloilo hits different for us, its chill, the food and so many great destinations in Panay.
Their helipad has an amazing 360 degree view of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't at it's best. But still , great video of the hospital :D :D
That’s awesome! Filipinos get so much help from the government. Phil Health you get upfront discount now compared to before where you pay first and wait for reimbursement.
Another example of modernation .its a shame that most people wont be able to afford healthcare.plastic chairs in a state of art facility. Its easy to see the big money scenario ,its not good for the poor.Enjoy your brand new house .Will you enjoy it when the houses increase in number
the plastic chairs were for the on going event. Some government hospitals here are going thru expansions and renovations as well. Healthcare for the poor is actually not too bad considering there are a lot of resources from the government and PhilHealth that makes their bill 0 or close to it. It's just a matter of educating them on these resources and packing their patience. We've experienced it first hand here helping our family from the province with the process and was surprised with the amount of health care support we could get as Filipinos. As for the house, we did anticipate the increase in number of houses that will be built, currently 2 more around our block. This is why we chose that parcel of land strategically even though it's smaller than what we've originally chose.
Our govt launched Malasakit Center where it provides financial assistance to financially incapacitated patients. Basically, Malasakit covers all the medical bill of the patient. Whether if its inpatient or OPD patients as long as you apply for the Malasakit program you will basically not pay a single centavo. Those Filipinos complaining abt our Healthcare are probably Middle class Filipinos who still pays for their medical bill bcoz they chose to pay than having to wait in line for long hours to be catered in Malaskit program.
How much did you pay to be a shareholder? How many stocks did you get? We did the same in pampanga, but the hospital will not be operational until 2025.
Wow this is info I have never heard of regarding stock holder of the hospital. That is a great investment and I’m so glad you guys shared this info!! On another topic, what condo size do you see in best demand there in Iloilo? I have a friend that is preselling some units, the smallest being 29sqm for about 3.4m If you have time and or knowledge what can you say about that price and size and also the demand in Iloilo? Personally I think it may be too small in size but maybe I’m just thinking with my western mind lol. Also what do you see as avg vacancy rate on your own unit? Salamat at ingat, Jake
It depends. the earlier you get in the better similar to when you're investing in stocks. we got in when it was at about P250k and went up to about P400k with just a few investor slots left.
@@darbarluado8352 you have to contact the hospital directly and ask for the department that handles investors for this hospital. Not sure how it works with others.
You have to inquire around. Sometimes people would sell their stocks or upcoming hospitals would put it out there. If you know doctors in the Philippines they sometimes have the inside scoop on this.
Its great to meet you in person at SM city! stay healthy-Gel(nyc)
awesome to meet you too!

Not a total problem if you are a retired US Military. Tricare works! Many Hospitals and Doctors in Iloilo participate in Tricare Overseas Program.
What type of tricare did you pick for Philippines?
@@dennismercado1158 Tricare Overseas. I believe you can use Tricare for Life too.
Thanks for the info, getting ready as well.
