Im hoping Moses understands that these vids are also essays of human experience. Breaking down a huge cultural boundary and getting straight to the soul of the people he’s interacting with. This content is a breakthrough
These vids also are great training and prep as they put you face to face, due to the camera, in all these "real life" encounters. We can take notes of the dialogue of both languages and practice. His work us still inspiring people. He will be missed.
Thought I would come back to my favourite video today. After watching nearly every video over the years, this one was always a standout. It was saddening to hear of Wilson's passing those years ago, someone so determined who was treated so badly by those around him. Now we've lost Laoshu. A true inspiration, someone who has entertained and inspired millions of people for over a decade. Rest in power Moses. Level up in heaven for us mouse🙏🏻
Yo man you are so inspirational you dont even know.... your so inspirational that you made me, this young black man start teaching himself mandarin and persuaded to let a regular chinese resteraunt down the street from me to hire me...when have you ever seen a black kid work in a chinese resteraunt? God is good. so now im around the native lanuage all day PLUS the other additional random speakers that walk in... thanks A LOT. xie xie
This has been my favorite of all Level ups... so sad to hear of Wilson's passing though, he sounded like a pretty cool guy and he was authentic. Anyway, keep up the great work, I am also learning languages as well and practicing conversations with people who speak it. Thank you, ahéhee and ありがとうございます。
Estoy de acuerdo. Yo necesito tratar de hacer más de videos donde practico mi español acá en UA-cam. Muchas gracias por tu comentario y ver mi video también.
I have been watching a lot of you videos recently, and this is hands down the best one. The best for so many reasons. The ONLY thing it lacks is the subtitle translations. I love this one man. This is wat people want. Immersed. PLEASE use a little larger font, and a black background when you to translations. Seriously tho, this is an awesome video. It's very casual, and everyday conversations. Love it! 👍👍
This guy is just an inspiration Really shows how everyone is equal and to embrace each other’s cultures without imposing our own beliefs upon others Just amazing 👏
I hope to meet you one day in the future and speak to you in languages to show you that these videos you make actually influence others to be just like you. ❤️
lol, I'll eat for you ^w^ Oh that was great fun watch. Major experience and level-ups in this one for you. LOL you where like a wolf at 38:00. What was that. I hear Chinese! Who spoke chinese! hahaha. The subtitle was hilarious "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLhahahahahahahah" couldn't stop laughing and smiling.

the guy at 7:30 got so interested in the conversation that he came up to the guys to activly interact with moses, i remember seeing him in another video where he was a companion of moses while he was leveling up inside of a mall.
love it how present, patient and respectful towards Laoshu the gentleman at picnic stood. A true humble quality fit for the ages imaging how things might have looked pre colonisation without use of technology only pure polygot power and hard yakka. Laoshu is "bruce lee" of lingo got world.

Geez, imagine having a bunch of guests over for some special event in your own home, only to get laughed at by everyone shortly before they all part ways. Yea, yea, people were just having fun teasing Wilson but I really think it was taken a step too far here. The fact that his own parents didn't even have time to even teach him Chinese goes to show that they're at fault for teaching him a dying language in the first place. I don't usually write comments on here but somehow this one got to me. Kinda sucks because the whole vibe was great till the end. Been on a streak with your videos. Very inspiring stuff, but yeah.
Monty J. Yeah I felt bad for Wilson near the end of the event. Mostly because I know how the whole “making fun of the kids” goes too far, especially in front of relatives or guests.

@@sobc2737 i am asian, and they are basically cursing his life, words are very powerful, its doesnt matter if they were joking, its evil and needs to stop. I bet you his parents and regret treating him like this and not appreciating him as muxh as possible after him passing away

The only good thing about the situation now is that I have a lot of time to focus on restarting my Japanese study. Watching videos like yours and lingosteve's has given me some much needed motivation out in here in the country. You've got me thinking of dropping in another language when I get comfortable enough.

What has happened to the guy? Seemed so friendly and truly a likeable person.
