I personally don't see the point. All races we've seen in other videos. Regardless i enjoy watching the new stuff. Once I got to #7 I realized I've seen most of if not all of these and didn't watch. That's just my opinion. I love the content on the new stuff for sure

All the people on here getting upset over brands...lol non of these sick high horse factory cars would exist without competition from the other brands. I love my Gm vehicles but love the competition from Ford and Dodge and would probably be happy driving any of them. The big three have all ruled at onetime over the other's and that will always be. These are all sick cars.

I'm a mustang fan myself, but keep in mind most of these are auto vs manual. They are heavier than these vettes so I guess in a way you could say it equals, but the auto is big advantage

I made a comment like this on the last video.. and GM fanboys came out in droves to tell me how im dead wrong and "Ls>5.0" it was actually akin to when the media attacks things it doesn't like these days.... scary... But I say again... Coyotes are just dominating out there... and I think once the 5.0 block is more mass produced... (think trucks) and becomes cheaper... Well... he did have a manual transmission. With an auto it could've easily held it's own. And not to mention it can beat every 2018 Mustang EXCEPT that 1. That's still pretty good. There are much faster C7 Vettes out there than that one.

Sorry LS marks but your best days are behind you. Been saying for years Chevy better develop a multi valve v8 because Ford was changing the game with that Yote. Now it's real and on video. You only only get so much top side pull from a pushrod engine idgaf if you pump 300lbs of boost to it. It's gonna hit that valvetrain wall. FORD POWER!!!

@@cantbsdave Volumetric efficiency is key. Get intake charge in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible with little waste. Power. A stock block 5000cc turbocharged 4valve V8 laying waste to a 6200+cc blown V8. The Vette is at least 600lb. lighter and more aerodynamic and still got smashed. Chevy seriously needs a 4 valve in the Vette and leave the LS in the trucks where it will shine...
... GM has seen the light... They are up nights, (sneaking over to the ford engineering) - learning how to build a DOHC v-8.

Pushrod still dominates drag racing, you can only be so fast before you need more cubic inches, that’s why the pro mod and top fuel guys use engines with a lot of cubic inches and pretty much pushrod power. DOHC is cool, but it’s not king.
I disagree...
When it comes to "outlaw" Pro Mod or super stock Naturally aspirated racing - you are correct. ... but those vehicles are running gasoline or possibly alcohol mixtures.
But top fuel and funny cars are a whole different ball game - you make most of the power with Nitro and boost. They still use Hemi engines and push rods, because they are going to be ruined after 1 or 2 runs anyway! There is no need for sophistication when you your power comes fuel which is closer to a controlled explosion rather than tuning.
When it comes to power adders... the size of the engine is less important than the amount of boost you run or the Nitros you can pump into the engine.
Boost - artificially makes an engine "Bigger", since it can be made equal to the amount fuel/air of any size engine you can structurally contain internally.
These little 4 bangers,v-6 and F-1 engines (when rev-ed to the outer limits and running exotic fuels) - in light weight chassis... can be monsters! The the thing about Drag racing is needing to decide... just exactly what you consider to be a "CAR". Just exactly what is streetable?

Did you miss the 1965 NASCAR ban on the Chrysler 426 Hemi? Ford does not make the best engine design. What engine design do all top fuel engines use even today? Hemi. Did Ford invent that? NOPE! The new Mustang Coyote is a great engine, no doubt but it is not as groundbreaking of an engine design as a Hemi was when it was introduced in the 50's

that 10 speed auto is no joke.. I want to switch my 98 sn95 turbo mustang back to auto. built tremec transmission at the moment. but with turbocharged car's auto's are deadly no lag in between shifts!!

Y'all taking shot bout the 5.0 but did u know that a 2018 mustang GT with Intake, headers and exhaust plus a tune will make 500whp, there's a vid on UA-cam. Now a add a turbo or superecharger... you get a monster.

Turbo only LS is still better at making power. I know someone with 720hp on a turbo only LS3. He's about to do a full blueprint build on it for around 8 grand and says it will be over 1000hp.
