Hey Cherry! As a person with a rather large book collection who has moved a few times I always packs my book boxes half books and then half linens (like towels or sheets) so that way you don’t waste the space, but you also don’t make it to heavy! Just thought I’d let you in on my secret. I definitely love the vlog style video!
I was going to suggest the same thing, and this also helps with the stability of the boxes if you have to stack them, because if you leave the top part empty and then stack them the box will collapse if there is too much space at the top.

I have about an hour and a half between school and work in the middle of the day and for 21 of those minutes i was so happy to put on my Gryffindor robes and watch my fellow house mate do great things!! ❤ I love you to pieces, you're doing amazing!!

Obvs you already packed. But a pro trip, from someone that has moved a dozen times... pack a couple of books with lighter things like clothes and scarfs in suit cases with wheels, that way it’s easy to move them around and the books are protected with the clothes. 😉

I loved the vlog. I don't know if it's because we moved so often when I was a kid, but I love moving and packing, and the much anticipated unpacking. I moved out into my first by-myself apartment for the first time last year. Finding places for everything and putting my own mark throughout the flat was both my favourite part and the one that got me so anxious about too. I had boxes and paper everywhere. So with that in my mind, I both wish you a very exciting move (I'm sure you will love it) and also give my condolences for the headache of find places for everything, all the rubbish and half empty boxes and the amount of cleaning and re leaning you will get up to. So, as for your question: I would adore to see more casual vlogs of you and your move (your new place and even just general casual vlogs about your experience of living away).
Packing can be both emotional and stressfull. But i absolutely love unpacking everything again. Organizing and finding new ways to display things and decorating. I have moved 5 times in the last 9 years😂 it was really nice just watching you organize, it’s peaceful hehe 👌🏻
Highly recommend leaving your clothes on the hangers for the move, just cover with a trash bag, makes it so much easier. Love the moving vlog, it is always sad to see your stuff in boxes, but you'll have so much fun setting up your new home

I would love to see more move out vlogs and move in vlogs as well. And yes books are extremely heavy when you pack. I've moved a bunch and I have a ton of books. I always try to get smaller boxes for them even though you will end up with a bunch of book boxes.
You could always put your books in a suitcase that rolls, so that way you don’t have to carry them and can pack it to the brim! I’ve used this while packing and it’s a lifesaver!
Somehow this has made me realise just how long I’ve already been watching your videos, more or less exactly five years now! That’s half a decade! Girl, I completely understand the moving struggle of a book lover. I think that has ALWAYS been the most things I have whenever I’ve moved, my books. Love the vlogging by the way. Clothes are easiest thing to pack, keep them on the hangers, put a bag over them like a garment bag, and lay them in your car on moving day

My husband and I just moved into our first home, and experienced the same book packing issues. I had to keep buying more boxes, because I could only carry so much weight, and couldn't fill the boxes to the top. So frustrating. Good luck with the rest of the packing! Good luck with the rest of packing and hope things stay intact things as they travel! If you are bringing your makeup dresser with everything still in it you might want to secure the drawers so they can't fall open as you move it. And the less full drawers might have some things roll around so you'll likely have to reorganize.

I moved out for the first time last January, and I'm 27 😅 it was exciting but hard. Decorating and organising keeps u excited but once you're done, than there comes a period of adaptation and realization and loads of conflicting emotions. But that period is short. And since it passed I can say that it was the best thing that happened to me and one of the best decisions I ever made! So no worries 😉🙌🙌🙌🌠🌠🌠 I'm so happy for you and this fresh start 🙌🌠 may it be filled with lumos 🧙

I feel your pain. I moved in the last 13 years 14 times and 7 times of that was moving to different countries. When you have everything unpacked at your new house and have decorated it the way you want to then all the pain whilst packing is gone.
I so understand what your going through. Me, my husband & my 2 youngest children just moved 3months ago. I didn't know how many books we had on the book shelf. Didn't look like 7 of your big boxes full. Thank goodness my husband had friends to help get them into the moving truck & then into the house we are renting. I dread if we move again having to pack the books. But I refuse to get rid of any of them. They are my babies. Happy vibes being sent your way as you pack to move into your new home. I know it's a bit late, but, for future reference, I've always packed my books in suitcases when moving. That way I can fill the whole thing and just roll it. Works like a charm and I move every 2-3 years.

Love these kind of videos :) You could do a speeded-up video, when you go through your wardrobe? Just put the camera on a tripod over your bed, dump a shelf/drawer at a time on your bed and go through it. Have one box for keeping/moving, one for charity and one for the bin(ragged, discolored and “dead” items) and sort accordingly :) It is much easier to sort through ones wardrobe then, I think :) I do that once every year, sometimes twice, when the seasons change :) Good luck!!!🍀
Hey Cherry, Try wrapping fragile stuff in t-shirts, blankets and towels. It's worked well for me. I love small boxes for heavy things like books. Good luck!

Omg definitely continue blogging even after all the house vlogs are done as not only us fans want to be apart of your life and support you in any way possible but also when you're having a bad day or need help you'll know that you are supported and love by basically the entire planet and with that you will never be lonely...I think I repeated my self but I think you know what I'm trying to say.

Good luck with the rest of packing and hope things stay intact things as they travel! If you are bringing your makeup dresser with everything still in it you might want to secure the drawers so they can't fall open as you move it. And the less full drawers might have some things roll around so you'll likely have to reorganize.

Well done Cherry! Top tip: half-filled heavy boxes can be topped up with towels, sheets, clothes etc. Don't make any box TOO heavy, lol
I moved out for the first time last January, and I'm 27 😅 it was exciting but hard. Decorating and organising keeps u excited but once you're done, than there comes a period of adaptation and realization and loads of conflicting emotions. But that period is short. And since it passed I can say that it was the best thing that happened to me and one of the best decisions I ever made! So no worries 😉🙌🙌🙌🌠🌠🌠 I'm so happy for you and this fresh start 🙌🌠 may it be filled with lumos 🧙
I just packed my hp and fb collection into boxes too 😩 we’re moving in 2 days, it’s so sad not seeing all the magic everyday 😢 all the best with the rest of your packing Cherry!
I feel your pain. I moved in the last 13 years 14 times and 7 times of that was moving to different countries.
When you have everything unpacked at your new house and have decorated it the way you want to then all the pain whilst packing is gone.

I so understand what your going through. Me, my husband & my 2 youngest children just moved 3months ago. I didn't know how many books we had on the book shelf. Didn't look like 7 of your big boxes full. Thank goodness my husband had friends to help get them into the moving truck & then into the house we are renting.
I dread if we move again having to pack the books. But I refuse to get rid of any of them. They are my babies.

I LOVE sorting through my shit and packing it. I've moved so many times so I'm a bit numb to it, but I actually really enjoyed watching you go through this experience for the first time! :) It can definitely be an overwhelming experience, but you're doing great so far! Excited to see your new place, will be following along :)
You can always fill up the boxes with things like pillows and other light stuff you have to move. Makes the boxes full, but not too heavy!

I know it's a bit late, but, for future reference, I've always packed my books in suitcases when moving. That way I can fill the whole thing and just roll it. Works like a charm and I move every 2-3 years.
For packing books what I do is one layer and for the top layers to protect it I top it off with linen or sweaters.

You could do a speeded-up video, when you go through your wardrobe? Just put the camera on a tripod over your bed, dump a shelf/drawer at a time on your bed and go through it.
Have one box for keeping/moving, one for charity and one for the bin(ragged, discolored and “dead” items) and sort accordingly :)
It is much easier to sort through ones wardrobe then, I think :) I do that once every year, sometimes twice, when the seasons change :)
