So it's not that these things are "rare". Stores are just buying then all up and jacking up the prices to ridiculous amounts...just like they did the Beanie Babies in the 90s. Fortunately, the Squishes will meet the same fate as the Beanies, waning in popularity and all those scalped toys plummeting in price leaving them for all the collectors who get them just for fun.
