Teetwal/Tithwal is a small border-village near the LoC in Kupwara district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The village is 82 km from the district headquarters, Kupwara. Teetwal is connected to the rest of India via Tangdhar.
Teetwal/Tithwal village is located in India on the Line of Control (LOC) which separates the Jammu and Kashmir administered by India from the Azad Kashmir administered by Pakistan. As per the Karachi Agreement signed by India and Pakistan in 1949, no construction is permitted within 500 yards of zero line on LOC and this "no construction zone" is considered a "no man's land" which is secured by both countries with landmines within their respective areas. India has constructed an Anti-Infiltration Obstacle System (AIOS) along the 734 km of LOC. AIOS is a three-tiered fencing system with checkposts and wire fences where villagers are given passage based on the smart card based identity cards issued by the Indian Army. Teetwal is among the villages which lie between the landmined zero point on LOC and the 3 tiers of AIOS.[7]
Sadhna Pass, previously called as Nastachun pass, is a mountain pass in Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in the Himalayas and connects Karnah tehsil of Kupwara district with the rest of the Indian administrated Kashmir valley. It is located in the vast Shams Bri mountainous range. It is about 3000 m above sea level.

It is not Azad kashmir, that is what Pakistan calls it to cause confusion. It is POK. Azadi to ab milni baki hai. Once PAK army is made to retreat and withdraw, it will become Azad Kashmir. It is a work in progress.

Been to this place on Pakistani side before 2016. Saw the Indian side of Kashmir and wished to find some one to wave too. Had similar feelings. Hope the other side develops as well so people of both counties can meet each other.
This could be another amazing point after kartarpur corridor.
In the last 6 years Jammu and Kashmir have vastly developed especially in the last 3 years. There is a big gap between Jammu and Kashmir and POK now in infrastructure development, education, Kashmiri culture, business, etc. It will be difficult for the people of Jammu and Kashmir to assimilate with the backward people of POK. They may have sympathy for the people of POK. One group of people looking at the sky and another group looking for survival.
