    Great info here. I have been pushing for my alliance to get damage increased when attacking enhancements for months now but having a simple explanation with reports like this is very helpful. Thank you.

    Honestly it really depends on if you're fighting alone there are way to much stuff and not enough space for beast skills like if you attack castle with Angel's the way to go is reduce damage by angels second is to use army expansion third is probably to reduce damage to your cavalry and fourth rather hp or damage against your opponents front line because in most cases the quicker you brake the front line the better odds you have in winning the fight my opinion.

    This was great. Please do bring out more videos on this topic. My current debate as a cav archer player in a mage dominant game is maybe I should switch HP beast skill for reduced damage from mages until my beast is level 25. And see how I perform in battle since mage will be the main source of damage I receive.

      Hey Bryce 👋🏼 having reduced damage from mages as pet skill is a must in my opinion for cavalry focused players, i think you should prioritize future investments into your pet level to unlock the 4th slot as soon as possible. Happy that you like the video :)

      @@NewHorizons-Lazel Ok I will switch HP for it. My pet level is 24 and I make sure to get all the XP from hot sale. Hopefully, soon it will be 25 then I will add the HP back in.

      @@NewHorizons-Lazel Now that I am thinking about it I switch between archer attack blue artifact or the purple HP artifact at the 1st star. I might as well switch it for the gold Caledfwich for more reduced damage from mages or Golden armour. I think I could get 1 of them to 2nd star which would give extra damage to angels or cavalry defence.

      Caledfwich and golden Armor are very good artifacts for cavalry Archer players, you just have to make sure to keep them improving. Maybe start with focusing one of them and when reached a certain star you can add the other one.

    In this topic I have my doubts. I believe that the mechanics in this matter is not so direct. it is still necessary to invest in sufficient attack to "break" the target's defense and from there the damage modifiers gain relevance, perhaps using the same setup you used in the video but against a more robust target with high defense the result would be the reverse . I am based on some personal tests that I did between HP and damage reduction, it was noticeable that the two climbed in different ways, at first the increase in HP was more efficient to some extent, but then the damage reduction started to scale apparently exponentially. this must occur for attack as well. if we were to chart HP growth or attack, I believe we would have a graph of linear and constant growth. In the increase and reduction of damages, it should look more like an exponential growth graph, where we would see a smooth curve at the beginning but developing vertiginously at the end. I believe that this is due to the position that these modifiers were in the damage formula of Camel. there is certainly an optimum point where one choice becomes more efficient than the other. We would need a mathematician in the community to help arrive at this conclusion more precisely. I think the conclusion would be something like: "start strengthening attack up to xxx%, then adopt damage modifiers".

      I agree with you, we’re woking on the formula and agree that it works with static and exponential performance of these stats due to the placement of the stats in the formula.
      As i said in the video, a mix out of both really helps and it needs to be thought about the fact that damage against troop x loses it’s effect as soon as the unit isn’t present anymore

    Hi Lazel, I have an interesting question. There is a beast skill that reduces damage received from angels. Does it reduce the damage of the sacred fire of the angels, or just the main attack of the angel? From Russia with love 🤠

      Hey Mate, yes it also reduces the damage of the sacred flame, so it has a very good impact and can be used as one of your beast skills, but remember that angels have a limit and units like infantry or archers have no limit. The decision what to pick as beast skills really depends on your playstyle.

    How do you tell when to focus on HP vs attack or damage?

      It often depends on the level of gear you can wear, as 30 gear I’d focus hp and as 35 gear you can tend more towards damage in my opinion. Overall you’ll get a feeling for it when you compare yourself with other castles at your level.

      Troops Damage is the new army damage, for example the 6th star of excalibur had the old wording of army damage, now it's called troops damage.
