When the hook enters the water, the rings are so light that the waves created from the hook breaking the surface will move the rings more or less so the hook is centered. If the rings are pressed against the edge I am thinking that hooking it on the outside edge might be the way to go. I am a nerd who loves physics. 🤣🤣🤣
