These are, and the brand as a whole, some of THE best speakers I have ever heard (as you would say), FULL STOP!!! I would have loved that you guys had gotten 5 of them, plus, say a D12 subwoofer, then done the review. I am 100% positive you would get over the styling really fast. IMHO, I love how they look, sans the grills, particularly the patterns on the woofer, and the waveguide. Yet, with all that being said, the ST7 Towers destroy these(no sub required). 🤔 also, I feel like if Andrew were still making films, he'd more than likely mix with these speakers. The line as a whole is cinema grade. If you're into home theater and want to feel as if you're on a sound stage, the Perlisten line is a no-brainer. I own several brands of speakers, which include Goldenear Triton Reference; Spatial Audio X4's, ML ESL 9's, and so on, each loved for different reasons. But if I were shutting it down, Perlisten S7t' s would most likely be where I'd stop. And this is before we even get to the subs...smdh! (Inttersting side note, Dan Roemer, the CEO and head designer at Perlisten, was also at Arendal) I DARE YOU ANDREW, get the S7T's and two D12/15 Subs, and see what happens. Love you guys, and all you do, although you spent WAAAAAY too much time talking about how the speakers looked, keep up the great work, and I look forward to the next video. 👍🏿 Peace ✌️
They don't look that bad to me, it looks like the design should reduce reflections. Andrew are you using homemade speaker cable or something off the shelf? Also how do you think the Polk R700's stack up against these?
First and foremost those two are "relationship goals" material. The more I listen to Andrew and Kristi the more I get to hear new technical lingo which I don't understand (let alone, many of those speakers are way above my pay grade -meaning it literally-) and for a reason and yet again I still click on the links from Andrew. I try to learn from you both and then I find myself treating the videos like they're ASMR videos. Love you both. Greetings from Istanbul Turkey :)

I am using these, with a good sub, for 2.1 channel channel home theater, as well as music. They are WAY better than the 5.1 system that they replaced. They are good close to a wall because they are sealed, not ported. This limits the bass extension, but makes them very easy to integrate with a sub. Mine actually sound a little better closer to the wall, even with the TV, which is really cool. Have used both SVS and Rel subs, and both work great. The Perlisten subs would almost certainly be the best if you can and want to spend that much. The Perlisten stands are super heavy and COOL LOOKING, but expensive. They help the appearance quite a bit, and the speakers actually attach to the stands. The looks of the speaker will probably not bother you after a while. If you get black, they kind of disappear in a dark home theater anyway--and as you said they disappear sonically. That is the best part.
Your reviews are super informative and easy for any consumer to understand. The comparisons to similarly priced speakers is super helpful for shoppers, and I think your wife’s takes are excellent adding another interesting perspective! Great video!
A wonderful dream for a working man like me - both the Perlisten and Technics R1000. Again, thanks to both you Andrew and Kristi for a dynamite video, and have a wonderful and safe Christmas!!
Kristi has my same tastes in bass so if she says these are perfect I believe her hahah. These are on my bucket list, it’s nice to have one pair of ultra neutral and perfect measuring speakers like this, then have some nicely flavoured speakers to swap in here and there for fun lol
You're in my wheelhouse now Andrew. I've personally auditioned Perlisten's S7t, R7t, S5M, R5M, BUT NOT the S4B. I prefer to not use subs in my two channel system, which the S4B definitely require (I do use two subs in my HT system). Conclusion, in my opinion Perlisten speakers are true high end Home Theater speakers, but not necessarily marketable or appealing to those of us who can afford $10K high end speakers. Whoever is considering the S4B, I encourage to audition Paradigm Persona 3F. Sonically, and aesthetically they are superior to S4B. The Persona line has beryllium tweeter and midrange driver, additionally their soundstage is world class. Thank you Andrew and Kristi for continuing to provide your viewers with an extensively variety of Audio and Video product reviews.
Thanks for the review! I'd have to agree with Kristi, at this price I would need zero reservations. It would have to be a spiritual listening experience, along with having an "art piece" level of aesthetics.
This is the review I've waited on!!!! Wow!!! You've CONFIRMED a lot of what I already believed...The Perlistens are similar to the Revels which were similar to the Infinity MTS which are similar to the Infinity P-FR's and all measure similarly! Wow...just 👏!!!! Measurements and what you hear....oh I get the design...but you've already stated...and...😂😂😂!!!! Excellent and honest review!
Thank you Andrew and Kristi. I am glad we reached out to you to make this review happen. A few notes, there are wood finishes in matte as well as gloss and we even make full 100% custom finishes. Depending on the model, I have a finish I prefer on the S4B, S5M, S7T and its a different finish per model, so let's get you more Perlisten to experience. Are you ready to review a Perlisten Subwoofer next? We have some ready for you! Steve Jain-Fidelity Imports
Hi Steve, we don't review subwoofers but we might be curious to use one in a future review. I think if Perlisten included more photos of the different finishes on their site, that would be helpful. Thanks for watching!

Good morning guys. That was worth the wait. Definitely out of my reach $$$. That frequency response is about as flat as I’ve ever seen, I completely agree about the appearance they look a bit cobbled together.
Yes I agree Perlisten speakers are on the pricey side and most likely not affordable for most people, but I must say they are, IMO, quite a beautifully designed speaker and the looks are quite appealing to me. Just an FYI, I’ve heard some reputable industry insiders say that the Perlisten CEO, Dan Roemer was the engineering and design mind behind Arendal Sound’s flagship 1723 series speakers.
I have been very curious to hear any Perlisten speakers. They seem to be the best of all worlds due to both design and hype: neutral, great but controlled dispersion, an *almost* concentric tweeter and midrange to improve imaging, extremely transparent and articulate and punchy, and all while being superior to nearly any other speaker brand at any price when it comes to dynamic range (especially for their larger speakers.) The hype compels me to want these as my end-game speakers, but I would really want to listen to them first before even thinking about saving up to spend that kind of money.
As mentioned, the price is 8000$. I didn't weigh them (to heavy) but believe they are heavier as the depth isn't 7.3 in. (about 12 in.). I'm listening to them without sub and are quite satisfactory. Nice review.
Would love for you guys to get a pair of KEF reference 1 metas and compare since they’re in the same price range and both are designed for neutrality and soundstage.
Happy Sunday Andrew and Kristi. You have become part of my Sunday morning routine. I too am not a fan of the looks of this speaker. But if it blows you away sonically, just tell everyone to close their eyes and listen. I think for the price , there are more options that will get you close to the performance at a significantly lower price. Kristi with a magical email, hopefully you can get a review sample of Mofi’s Sourcepoint 10 speakers in for review. Now that’s a speaker that interests me. Cheers.
Well, while I cannot make any comments on the sound quality, on looks alone, I'd take the Perlistens, especially in white as shown, over the 805 D4 any time. I find the 805's to be quite ugly and since I do agree with Kristi that looks are important too, and more so at those prices, I'd skip the B&W no matter how good they sound. Happy Holidays!
Oh it was always going to make the cut. Further proof that I have no idea what she's going to say when we get to the second half of the review! Thanks for tuning in!
I know you have issues with acquiring Paradigm speakers, but the Founder series 120H in midnight cherry, compare what you get in styling, performance and value for a pair .
The brand that came to market with no reputation but started with top end prices out of the gate lol. That's an approach it seems many fail at, but their performance lives up to their pricing structure.
Andrew, could you please publish a list (or include in a video), a list of speakers you can place close to a wall? Many of us don't have the room to bring speakers out. Seems like Perlisten would be on that list. Any other speakers that come to mind?
You can typically place any sealed or front ported speaker closer to a wall. Perlisten would be on the list, so would Arendal (bit.ly/3A3VGqH), Sonus Faber (bit.ly/3QlTiCR) to name a few.
Certainly on my wish-list, the S7t anyway. They do look better in person in their satin wood finish but are still on the form follows function side of things. Of course, one could say the same of the TAD ME-1 which would be a great speaker to compare with these 4bs.
I love them. I actually have a full 5.2.2 system of them. Sonically, they are like almost nothing out there in the best sense. About the aesthetics. If you have a problem with it. Don't give up on their sound just go for the in walls and make them disappear.
Why did the Perlistens not make your top best speaker list and the KEF R11 Meta did in your top 5 speaker list ever? These two speakers, actually the Perlisten R7t and the KEF R11 Metas are in my new speaker list. 😊
I am thinking of cross shopping these Perlisten S4B with the Focal Sopra N°1 speakers, along with KEF Reference 2 Meta and B&W 805 D4 speakers. It’s a shame your channel never looked at the Sopras. Kantas are too little, the endgame speaker worthy Diablos are unfortunately too much.
Cross shopped similar speakers in the range you've mentioned. Ended up with the perlisten s7i, and focal kanta 2. Perlisten midrange is unrivaled in my opinion. Focal berrylium inverted dome is spacious beyond compare.
Thank you so very, very much for the kind words and for the coffee! If you're a coffee man yourself, may I recommend Airship Coffee (it's what we drink).
Perlisten is at the pinnacle of passive loudspeaker technology. They've delivered performance, clarity and detail at a level that one would normally only associate with an active speaker.
"Second favorite"!! Denon... This listener/follower/fan .. My current set up is the Denon Anniversary 110 with an Outlaw Sep Amp to assist in the fun... Currently using Dynaudio Floors... Keeping the model a secret just for fun.. You indicated that this Perlisten is "one of the best sounding speakers"... So that begs the question... What are you're 5 favorite speakers? Or is that a planned end of year video??!!:)). Yes, I watched the entire video... While typing .. So I heard there will be the "best".... I'm sure you'll consider breaking that list into various price points?? Keep up the good work, fun to listen...
Hello, so now it's time to review the Arendal 1723 Monitor THX Spkrs at $2,500/pr. At a quarter of the price of these, mere mortals can realistically hope to acquire the Arendals !!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews guy who designed the perlisten also did the arendals.....HDF, Waveguide, Rhodium speaker posts. You can see that the arendals are the budget perlisten ;)
@@KristiWright Hi Kristi just saying love you guys. Perlisten and Arendal are completely different companies with different price points and performance who just happen to share the same speaker design engineer. I heard his name mentioned a few times on an audioholics show. But take a look at the back plate of the Perlisten and look at backplate of the 1723 and you will see what I mean
I don’t mind the look of them actually. I think they look 10 times better than the B&W. Although I haven’t seen them in real life of course. At $10k though it doesn’t matter what I think about their looks 😆
They don't look that bad to me, it looks like the design should reduce reflections. Andrew are you using homemade speaker cable or something off the shelf? Also how do you think the Polk R700's stack up against these?
Polk R700 at their price are unbeatable. They give many speakers that cost twice the price a run for their money. However at $2000 a pair, towers no less, they do not compared to the bookshelf Perlisten S4b at 10k a pair. Perlisten towers are literally 10 times the price of Polk reserve
Nice review. I’d be curious to hear those in person. Agreed on the styling of 805 D4s compared to these. It took me a while to get used to the neutrality of Bowers and Wilkins 800s series versus 700s. It has grown on me, but your comment that the 805 D4s add a little bit of a color leans me to thinking between that and the styling, they are probably still my next pair of speakers for my integrated amp.
These seem nice. I question if they are “better”than the revels. People like I snub revel (audiogon…) but I have yet to find a better speaker regardless of cost. I would love to see a head to head with the 328be and the biggest perlisten.
For a complete theater system would you use all bookshelves or do they have floor standing and center to complete the setup? But for the money they must sound great. Great review as usual. But, I still need your help with my Sony A9G tv eARC input drops at times for a few seconds at a time
Andrew I haven't found any online reviews of the cheaper (slighty) R4B. Have you heard it or do you have any opinions? Thanks for all of your good work, king regards, John.
I'm considering buying them but not sure about the price, though they cost half, I still not sure they worth that kind of money. I think they should cut prices by half, and then they'll match the reality, they are not good looking and they sound very natural. I wasn't blown away by them when listening.
Visual style and acoustic perfection (as far as possible) are two reasons people buy speakers. But if you buy a pair of speakers based on looks alone you can miss out on the best sound. One of the reasons B&W or Perlisten have a good sound is the design of the front panel. Essentially, B&W, Perlisten and others utilize a technique to minimize the amount of wood surrounding the speakers removing as much as possible along with smooth rounding and tapering the wood away from the front panel to open up the sound. In-room frequency responses are better and this can enlarge the sound stage. I know this is probably not interesting to Kristi but it does explain why some speakers incorporate this design into their speakers. So many things can effect speakers but this is a design enhancement that design engineers can provide for out of the box. Little things can have big impact on sound quality. I saw a real time frequency response graph change drastically in a speaker face design when they moved the tweeter position placement by mere millimeters so a lot of engineering design goes into the speaker box. Unfortunately, this produces some strange looking speakers. And MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Watching in UK... As usual, I think you're both FABULOUS! 💛 I know that's not addressing your question of the day, but my enduring feeling after watching you both, is that I want to buy you tea and cake!! 💛😁💛
@@andrewrobinsonreviews as I'm British, my feelings are deeply repressed, so it's difficult to respond to that Andrew... But, I will say this... OMFG - yaaay! 😂💛😂
What is the cheapest speaker with neutral sound? And think about the cost of speaker stands Could it be that a floor-standing speaker can be cheaper when you factor in that cost? And what do you say about Boston acoustics
I've heard some of the bigger ones at an audio show and liked them but the price tags gives me pause considering they are made in China. When they build a track record for reliability maybe not an issue, but for now I'd probably wait for a little more data.
I would like to hear perlisten r7t could also be a speaker i upgrade to from my b&w 702 in the future. Proably the most intresing tower for me at 10k price range
A large majority do prefer speakers to blend in with their decor so white, black or traditional wood finishes are preferable. Others like them to be the centrepiece of the room and extravagant finishes and designs are desired. I think in this particular case I am not a fan of this design though the white doesn’t bother me. I do like unusual finishes though. I bet these sound amazing though. I owned a McIntosh amp and a CD/SACD player in the past and damn, did I love those being the centrepiece of the room…even more than the speakers. Would be nice if more manufacturers explored more unique finishes and designs…
I would love, love, love for you guys to review the Focal Sopras and compare them with these perlistens.. would bw awesome to hear your thoughts..I have a focal sopra 3 based system and when I was shopping around did compare these between the Kantas and Utopias.. I thought the Sopras sounded very close to the Utopias and couldn't justify the price difference between the two lines (but there was a pretty significant improvement between the Kantas and Sopras)... unfortunately no perlisten dealers near me so I couldn't compare but everyone I have spoken to have said these perlistens are close in performance to the Sopras.. you guys seem to like the Focals so figured I would throw that out there
I am not a fan of the look of those SB Acoustics "checkboard" woofers, or the overall design of these speakers, but performance is ultimately all that matters...would love to hear these things.
The drivers are NOT SB acoustics. Every Perlisten driver is made by Perlisten for Perlisten in Perlisten’s factory. The cone material is from the same manufacturer but that is the only similarity
First of all thanks you for your vIdeos . I am French and I find your Reviews are the best of you tube. Do you plan to test the Advance Paris My Connect 250 all-in-one amplifier ? Owner of focal aria 948, I wish to acquire an all in one and this model attracted my attention, but I did not have yet the occasion to listen to it
Perlisten is more interesting as an in-wall speaker. The structural models sound the same as their boxed versions and maintain the thx Dominus rating. In a wall, looks matter a whole lot less and there aren't many brands that can offer such performance in a wall
One question, I want to make a home cinema for a 25 square meter room and I would like to know what speakers you would recommend for crystal clear sound, I don't want a lot of power, I want quality at low volume. (especially the voices and the small details are what interest me, I don't want my house to shake when there is an explosion hehe) I used Google Translate, I hope you understand! thank you very much
I would pay $5,000 to maybe $7,000 for the Perlistens pair, not $10,000. I know you guys don't have the Focal Sopra 1's, that would be an interesting comparison to the Perlistens. Great review! Cheers! 🔊🔊
While they are a little on the weird design side! I do love that checkered look on the cone! Stamp it it's January best of!!!! That price is way out of bounds even if I had the money $10,000 I could have custom Cornwall's for that price (I believe). While watching the review on the big screen I looked up the other colors and the natural wood look seemed to look better! I'm not a fan of that front piece bulging out so far from the actual cabinet. 😱 But that's me! I appreciate that ending as always great video...
As they say in the Big Lebowski, "Mark it Dude!" Definitely on the list for best of 2023, no doubt! But yeah, for 10K you could have custom Cornwalls, you could have two pairs and maybe even a Heresy and do home theater 😉
@@andrewrobinsonreviews wow see and visually let's just admit this right on the table. I'll throw all my cars out there. The cornwalls would get more. Looks hands down! P.s. it's a league game smoke. It's a league game! 🤣
Good job with the review. I'm sure they sound terrific, but I agree that for that kind of money, the styling isn't appealing enough. I also want near 20 hz extension if I'm paying $5K and up (these are twice that). Looks like the Perlisten guys are "no nonsense" types who want to build the best sounding speakers and appearance is a secondary consideration. I'd suggest Joseph Audio's Pulsar as a stand mount that looks appealing and sounds great as well. Hoping that Perlisten listens to the customers and improves their aesthetic approach. Their subwoofers look good and get rave reviews. Would love to hear all of their products.
Assuming the design choices relate to solving acoustic problems (like diffraction), how much performance are you two willing to give up for a speaker to go from being acceptable looking to great looking? It’s an issue I run into a lot because the best speakers are often… not beautiful. Then I listen to them and I think… okay, I can deal with that. My wife, not so much.
I loved listening to this speaker, like I say in the review, I'm not sure I've heard a better monitor, but I did not like seeing them out in our room. They look like street lights or f-ed up stormtrooper helmets etc. I would rather physically look at Revel Studio 2 speakers (and I don't think they're the most beautiful either), but for me, looks matter --especially when spending a TON of money!
I was just going to ask you about the Elysian and then you addressed them 😅. Please do review the bookshelf Elysians! Or floorstanding 802/3/4s. I wonder if going up or down a range changes that much or if all you get is more bass?! Thanks!
i probably should redesign that front baffle, i wonder if i could make it look better.... of course sound quality and engineering choices comes first so i can not complain if all those shapes makes acoustical sense. but those sharp edges i think could be softened.

Cheers.
Good morning, Brian! We don't have any immediate plans for the Sourcepoint until perhaps later in 2023.
After this, I hope you review the Dutch & Dutch 8C. I wonder if they can stand up to the Perlisten's.
I think they look fantastic.
What is “I don’t care” for $500, Kristi. Hahah!
Y’all are hilarious. Glad that little bit made the cut.
Oh it was always going to make the cut. Further proof that I have no idea what she's going to say when we get to the second half of the review! Thanks for tuning in!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews that’s fantastic!
And further proof that she always keeps it 💯
I know you have issues with acquiring Paradigm speakers, but the Founder series 120H in midnight cherry, compare what you get in styling, performance and value for a pair .
Iam with Kristy on the looks for 10 Grand the speakers have to be the jewel of the living room not what ever the designer thought those are
Not everything concentrates on art deco for the budget.
They remind me of the speakers on the boom boxes from Aiwa/JVC/Sony from the late 90’s/early 2000’s
↑This. And … it’s not a compliment.
The brand that came to market with no reputation but started with top end prices out of the gate lol. That's an approach it seems many fail at, but their performance lives up to their pricing structure.
Way out of my price range, but the product of theirs that really makes me drool is the D215s sub. Would love to see you guys review that.
I heard a full perlisten system for the first time and wow, literally wow. Makes me want to throw my current system in the trash
Would love for y’all to evaluate Focal Sopra No 1 and compare to Perlisten..
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS,WE ARE CALMED DOWN KRISTI 🤗💚💚💚
Crazy how something small like these cost more than my Klipsch RF7iii. Btw you guys should review those that would be awesome.
Certainly on my wish-list, the S7t anyway. They do look better in person in their satin wood finish but are still on the form follows function side of things. Of course, one could say the same of the TAD ME-1 which would be a great speaker to compare with these 4bs.
Looks wise, I really like these.
I knew there would be someone who loved the design! I'm honestly surprised more haven't spoken up to say as much.
Great review as always !! Way out of my finances!! But still like to know what’s out there for any budget !!! Thanks ❤
Thanks so much! They're outside of my budget too, but like you, it's always nice to see where things are going.
I love them. I actually have a full 5.2.2 system of them. Sonically, they are like almost nothing out there in the best sense. About the aesthetics. If you have a problem with it. Don't give up on their sound just go for the in walls and make them disappear.
Everything Perlisten seems to be top notch, be it the entry or top of the line.
It seems to be the case. Appreciate you tuning in!
how do they compare to R11 META?
Watching from Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪.
Amazing! Thanks for joining us.
Welcome and thanks for tuning in!
Thanks🙏🏾
Thanks🙏🏾
How do they compare to Arendal 1723 THX ?
arenndal is not good
I'm thinking the S7T floorstanders rather than the bookshelves, no need for stands and a more substantial speaker.
Why did the Perlistens not make your top best speaker list and the KEF R11 Meta did in your top 5 speaker list ever? These two speakers, actually the Perlisten R7t and the KEF R11 Metas are in my new speaker list. 😊
did u manage to demo them? im not sure either.
Not yet. In the works
I'd be curious how they would compare against KEF, Raidho, TAD, Paradigm ... to mention but a few in the same price range.
I think they look great in white. 🙂
Wow! Stunning speaker! Cheers to you both and one of your coffees is on me today. ❤️❤️
So thoughtful ABX! Thank you and have a great Sunday.
Thank you so very, very much for the kind words and for the coffee! If you're a coffee man yourself, may I recommend Airship Coffee (it's what we drink).
@@andrewrobinsonreviews ohhh. Googling now. Thank you. 😉
@@abxaudiophiles Our specific bean is Black Bear.
Nice video - I skimp on finishes for sound but I don’t think I could pay $10k to look at these - curious how the Elysian 2 stack up sonically
Andrew, have you ever reviewed Ohm Walsh speakers. If not , might be worth a listen. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
How do they deliver 10k speakers? Do they just show up on your door in a box or do they hand deliver these things.
These arrived in boxes via freight.
Perlisten is at the pinnacle of passive loudspeaker technology. They've delivered performance, clarity and detail at a level that one would normally only associate with an active speaker.
I bet they're nice but they should be at that price. I dunno but for $10k I wanna be a little closer to full-range.
Happy to comment to help the channel. $10k is outside my comfort zone.
Hello, so now it's time to review the Arendal 1723 Monitor THX Spkrs at $2,500/pr. At a quarter of the price of these, mere mortals can realistically hope to acquire the Arendals !!
Noted. Maybe next year we'll dive into how the two compare. Thanks for watching!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews guy who designed the perlisten also did the arendals.....HDF, Waveguide, Rhodium speaker posts. You can see that the arendals are the budget perlisten ;)
@@pumpituphomeboy According to Arendal, they vehemently deny any association to Perlisten.
Arendal's owner claims there is zero connection between the two brands.
Two days in a row listening to reviews with F bombs. Folks keeping it real. 🙂
We're not always the most refined behind the scenes. Appreciate you watching!
@@andrewrobinsonreviews I am not offended. Cuts to the chase and shows the real emotion.
Can you compare the perlisten s4b vs perlisten's r7t (same price).
R7t if you are running 2.0 in a regular room, s4b if you are running 2.0 in a small room or including it crossed over with a sub
May I wish I had a spare $10k. I'd jump on these.
"What do you say to me?" "Shut the f&$k up!" "I was going for in don't care!" Hilarious 🤣
Watching in UK... As usual, I think you're both FABULOUS! 💛
I know that's not addressing your question of the day, but my enduring feeling after watching you both, is that I want to buy you tea and cake!! 💛😁💛
Best comment of the day!
You had me at cake!
@@KristiWright haha!
Don’t know if you have listened to the Arendal 1723s but I was wondering how those and the Perlisten compare.
We have not heard the 1723.
I actually like the look. Different. Magnetic grills would be nice tho.
They come with magnetic grilles but they only cover the drivers.
I think the speakers look great with the grills on
I would say if you are going to go spend 20k on focal evos dont. Get the QLN Signature for 24k. Best bookshelf I’ve ever heard.
I've heard some of the bigger ones at an audio show and liked them but the price tags gives me pause considering they are made in China. When they build a track record for reliability maybe not an issue, but for now I'd probably wait for a little more data.
They definitely look very cool!!!!
Would love to hear them! I most certainly can not afford.
Great review! Would love for you to review some Tekton speakers and hear your thoughts.
I would like to hear perlisten r7t could also be a speaker i upgrade to from my b&w 702 in the future. Proably the most intresing tower for me at 10k price range
It’s like the millennium falcon, it’s cool!
What about the Magico?
I wish there was more movie listening feedback from you guys other than that, great video!
I would love, love, love for you guys to review the Focal Sopras and compare them with these perlistens.. would bw awesome to hear your thoughts..I have a focal sopra 3 based system and when I was shopping around did compare these between the Kantas and Utopias.. I thought the Sopras sounded very close to the Utopias and couldn't justify the price difference between the two lines (but there was a pretty significant improvement between the Kantas and Sopras)... unfortunately no perlisten dealers near me so I couldn't compare but everyone I have spoken to have said these perlistens are close in performance to the Sopras.. you guys seem to like the Focals so figured I would throw that out there
Totally agree. Seems like the Sopra bookshelf is the closest Focal bookshelf that these should have been compared to
I am not a fan of the look of those SB Acoustics "checkboard" woofers, or the overall design of these speakers, but performance is ultimately all that matters...would love to hear these things.
The drivers are NOT SB acoustics. Every Perlisten driver is made by Perlisten for Perlisten in Perlisten’s factory. The cone material is from the same manufacturer but that is the only similarity
Did you review the S7t?
This is our one and only Perlisten review.
First of all thanks you for your vIdeos . I am French and I find your Reviews are the best of you tube.
Do you plan to test the Advance Paris My Connect 250 all-in-one amplifier ?
Owner of focal aria 948, I wish to acquire an all in one and this model attracted my attention, but I did not have yet the occasion to listen to it
No current plans for that line of products.
The speakers look like a futuristic studio monitor 🙂
Perlisten is more interesting as an in-wall speaker. The structural models sound the same as their boxed versions and maintain the thx Dominus rating.
In a wall, looks matter a whole lot less and there aren't many brands that can offer such performance in a wall
Only other brands with inwalls that might can compare in performance is kef and focal 1000 series
P.S. Kristi got me with the Shut the **** up!! And Andrew with the well I was looking for the (We don't care) 😂 I was dying
