@@juansantiagoish Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
I don't know why ppl give Bjork a hard time, she's a treasure of inspiration. You're in the 1230's, a hardcore religious person spitting on an artist trying to paint the stars.
Bjork going metal is the best thing I've heard in decades
This isn't Metal..grow up.
@@billriddle9215 Is on LOCRIAN mode, it's dropped on B, has distortion and is raw AF... Bro, this is way more metal than St. Anger.
You should definitely check out the remix she made for the 'Sucker Punch' soundtrack.
@@alejandroas1059 Not to mention having real drums...
Dude thats fucking heavy asf wtf are you saying lmao!!
@@billriddle9215
Bjork totally needs to do an entire rock album...fkn totally
Literally
Well I think she did in her early years, it's called the Sugarcubes
Mmmm... maybe then. I mean early 90s. Not now.
@@emartine2008 she can still pull that off .
@@pierric2748 they never had a rock track though
Holy FUCK this performance is absolutely electric! Never heard Bjork go off with such intensity before.
Right?? 🤯
She is an old punk from way back, she has been hardcore for a long time. Some of the early Sugarcubes live shows were quite full on. Love her look in this performance
Have she ever NOT done that? :O
Too bad she isn't a much of a fan of electric guitar, it lights a fire under her. Just check out the first Sugarcubes album.
LOVE it. That raspy voice is 💪
Seeing bjork head bang is something I never knew I needed
Back in the middle of the 90's - I thought music would always be cool, and the world would increasingly get better.
And it's all went way downhill
@@ScottishTeeVee I miss the romance. The looking forward to the future.
I did too, for the longest time. I'm a 90's child, born in 1990 to be exact. But I've learned since, if you take the people of the late 30's and early 40's as an example, and what the 50's actually were (outside the east bloc ofc), and what the late 60's where, and what the 70's were, and finally the 80's, that culminated in the mid 90's. It goes in cycles and the good times last longer and longer. There is some glimmer of hope in that, but that's life. It's just... life sometimes gets shitty for a lot of us and then incredibly good for a lot of us, at the same time. Location, location, location, or whatever. And that's the 90's me talkin'. Living in the moment is the good life, so live in the moment.
with the right kind of eyes, you can almost see the high-water mark; the place where the water finally broke, and the wave rolled back into the sea
@@Reblwitoutacause so Johnny Depp will blow his head off soon…
Man, I got chills when Skin sang her part. The raw power and emotion in her voice. The perfect pairing with Bjork.
2:10 Good lord, the absolute pipes on this woman is insane.
Charlie big potato 1:43, go listen, its better
Utterly unique.
Such a hard and intense section
As a Skunk Anansie fan and a Bjork fan back then...I cant believe I have never seen or heard this before! Thanks!
Same here ... ;)
Same!
unreal performance
me to ,.......sitting with big eyes here
Same, love Skin's voice and Bjork too mental
2:20 goosebumps every fucking time oh my god
Charlie big potato at 1:43
I never even knew about this. If only they’d done more together. Their styles mesh very well.
Where can I find it (if you know)?
@@micaela2945 It was originally released as a B-side on the CD 2 Army of Me single. I'm not sure if it is on streaming.
agree totally, really enjoyed their collaboration here
Thank you! I think my mum has this cd, it isnt on streaming services though 😭 but this is the coolest song ever
@@micaela2945 your mum has good taste! If she’s got other Björk singles I would check out those too, some brilliant B-Sides
No wonder this woman has been Amy Lee's role model and her most influential artist for decades. Bjork is a RARE talent!
Exacto
I get to know Bjork from Amy and I love them both so much
Amy Lee compared to Bjork is like Daffy Duck cartoon compared to the Swan Lake Opera :D
Ha, I didn't know that, but seems logical. And now, I've realized that Ergo Proxy's character Re-l Mayer is inspired by both Amy Lee and Björk. No wonder she's so hypnotic. They're all so captivating 🖤
How did I not know this was a thing that happened?! Amazing!
Well I am glad you found it and enjoyed it
Same!
I remember seeing this live, it was followed by Jimmy Nail. I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life. Sublime followed by the ridiculous.
The energy on this performance is crazy cool. Too intense. Love it.
Thanks for watching and commenting Holly
im in love with her in this stage. her dress, hair and make-up is gorgeous. she could be an awesome metal singer.
I never ever thought the day would come when I would say Björk rocked my face off. She’s so amazing would love to here her do more music with a harder edge like this!
never seen or heard the version , it certainly is rare ....
As long as you enjoyed it, then my job is done
...🤔...
Can you just imagine...
Being part of the audience at this performance...😱
Have loved Bjork since The Sugarcubes. And Skunk Anansie nailing it in this live collab...💯
idk if i would mosh till i die or just stand there in absolute awe
Fuck, Bjork got straight up metal. Iceland for life.
How have I not seen this masterpiece before 2023?
Me to so glad find it
literally discovered the song today, found this live performance in a worse quality video, then found this upload of the performance and man i feel complete. its 5:11 am and i havent slept 😅
she was insane for this performance & i love her for it
Thanks for watching and commenting Mono
Holy shit! 2023 now. Incredible performance.
Kids nowadays dont realise how amazing music in the 90s was , i was so lucky to grow up listening to this than the stuff they have today
I can't believe how raw and powerful these two vocalists are together. They are...Fire and Ice(land.) 🔥❄️🔥❄️
Bjork is truly one of a kind! Every one of her performances hits you in the chest like a cannonball of emotions! One of the most beautiful souls inside and out to ever walk this earth!
Holy hell this is awesome
I'm glad you enjoyed it
WOW, Insane performance. Bjork just slots right in
Thanks for watching and commenting, glad you enjoyed it
WOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE RAW ENERGY OF THIS PERFORMANCE...WHAT A BANGER!! THIS VERSION ROCKS BEYOND BELIEF... I MISS THE 90S
Incredible! Björk metal version! I’m in love!
Skin's voice can peel your skin off and Bjork's can stitch it back on. It's crazy how well their voices just complement one another. SA never got enough credit, ever. This right here should've been the go-to citation for their integrity and credibility. Brilliant artists. Only makes sense that Bjork would work with 'em.
Holy fuck that's just so raw and intense they really need to do a live collab l reckon quite a few would pay good money on the strength of this .Thanks for taking the time to upload this mate
I'm glad you found and enjoyed this William
I always thought this bass line was metal. What a gem! Thanks for posting this.
Glad you like it John
God I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be there in person.
MY FAVOURITE LIVE PERFORMANCE EVER
agreed this is perfect!
THEY DID SOOO AMAZINNNGGGG!! I LOVE SKIN AND BJORK
WOW!!!!! THAT WAS The BEST!!! Rocked! Thanks for this.
I'm glad you enjoyed it
The 90s was such a cool time for rock and metal
It was and to be honest at the time, I never fully realised it. Thanks for watching and commenting Eddy
mid 90s was GREAT!! I remember Bowie had his Outside stuff out!! Bjork had one of her best albums out! we had some great bands about! creative vibes were flowing
This blew my mind when i saw this broadcast
Wtf happened to such a huge chunk of mainstream music since the 90s
Wooooooooow totp without playback !!! Finally
'post' : dark gothic lookin' , ! ... björk .
Not sure why this popped up on my feed but damn grateful it did…absolutely amazing! 😀🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Live version of her song in the Sucker Punch soundtrack, so 90's!
I'm glad you found and enjoyed this video
Another time. Another world. 🤘🏽
Amazing performance
This performance goes too hard 😮🔥

Great combination these two and ofcourse THE METAL
Holy shit, this is badass
I'm glad you found and enjoyed this video
One of the best evenings I can recall was years ago, running on a boardwalk with Medulla playing in my ear buds for 12 miles. I often reminisce on how great of a night that was. Björk has always been a genius.
She was really cute back then. Love her look in this video. Like this song.
Two of my idols together in the same stage! How come I did not know this existed? Thanks UA-cam, this is phenomenal!!
Great. I vaguely remember watching this. Thanks for the better quality upload.
Glad you enjoyed it
How vaguely remember something so epic? :0
umm, who else in the whole world ever, has bjork stepped back to let take lead????? just this? ok, i thot so. this is SUCH AN AMAZING VIDEO.
This is one of my favorite songs ever and this performance is sooooooo good
No había escuchado esto ...y mira que he escuchado mucho de BJÖRK en directo.....ufffff SIMPLEMENTE INCREÍBLE.
Wow! What a performance!
I'm glad you enjoyed it
I didn’t realise TOTP at some point evolved to allowing live vocals. At first I thought it was all live until I saw no mics on the kit or amps. Fairly convincing pre-record mix!
The drummer is totally faking it - like he's playing on a ride, but it sounds like an open hi-hat. Not to mention black sound dampening thingies on a snare and floor tom. Well, I guess that's just how TOTP rolled.
For most of the early 90s, TOTP had mostly live vocals. You can see plenty of amusing results if you go looking, like Kurt Cobain doing a Morrissey impression the first time they played Teen Spirit. Kurt is also miming very silly guitar shapes. Meanwhile, Kris Novoselic is very obviously not playing anything at all.
watched this about 50 times the last couple days since finding it. fucking unreal amazing. if i could time travel to any live performance ever this would be up there.
Oh my! First I’ve heard this version. Gave me head tingles😁
I'm glad you enjoyed it
Now, that I've found this, I have to repeat my comment from that other upload of this:
Best! Björk!! Ever!!!
Glad you enjoyed it, which version was the best quality, mine or the other?
@@ScottishTeeVee Yours. :)
forever my fave video on the internet
Skin and Bjork, two of my favourite singers, and I'm just discovering this now, despite being old and having plenty of time since the 90's to stumble across it. Amazing performance!!!
This version is an perfection!
Two legends. And where two legends meet in the middle, there's bound to be aural heaven!
This is pure music and emotion 😍

Thanks for watching and subscribing, this channel will take you one a very strange musical journey, I advise caution before subscribing 😆
Skunk I remember them from the movie strange days!! Hey Steve I'm in the USA and half Scottish and proud!! My auntie is from Greenock...never been there before it's on my to do list...free Scotland!! Any live ladytron?? Thanks again for these rare gems...
I know Greenock very well. If you ever make it, take a drive up to Loch Thom, which is right behind Greenock and then walk up to the top of Scroggy Hill, from where you get a great view of the whole area. No Ladytron, sorry. Thanks for watching and commenting Christopher
Very kind of you Steve....another great band Catherine wheel.....BTW helen marnine of ladytron is from Scotland.....many good bands come from there, mogwai another fantastic band...saw them live many times. My ears are still bleeding lol
I can't remember this in Strange Days,o but I did hear it in Sucker Punch...
What a coincidence, i was listening a new BabyMetal snippet and immediately remind me of this song, would love to hear is a reference to this.❤️
Awesomeness song right here always has been always will even if there are a few covers of it out there this one is still #1 in my list 🤘🔥🤘
I'm glad you enjoyed this video
This is one head bangingly amazing collaboration of two raw voiced talents rocking out in unmatchable style and substance. Goosepimply moments it's a joy to enjoy 30 years later...
Just Brilliant.
I am so glad you found and enjoyed this video
Love your work man saving this stuff for future generations
this is the most intense, angry, hardcore thing i have ever seen. heavy metal boys WISH they could reach this level of rage and intensity.
No need to attack metal dude
That depends on which heavy metal boys (and girls?) you know ^^
@@nickkohlmann yeah i know there's all kinds of very different metal genres, i was talking out of my ass lol i just wanted to make fun of heavy metal (and men lmao)
@@punkbjork …cringe.
Why would you make fun duuuuude? Metal fucking rocks in a different aspect! Thank you! 🖤🐈⬛🖤🦇🖤☠️🖤⚰️🖤🤘🖤🕷🖤💀🖤
I remember watching this on TOTP when it was broadcast, it seemed so heavy, great collaboration.
holy shit! after the sugar cubes, bjork said doing a rock band would be too boring (the instruments) and of course her music is brilliant, but imagine if she’d stuck with rock, maybe it never would have died or waned. not to diminish the explosiveness of this band. stellar performance!
thanks girls for being the voices of our collective rage channeled into the perfect song!!!!
Good times never dies!!!
I’m gonna cry this has so emotion
I love Björk’s voice so much
*bjork* nailing any genre . . . not to mention hot af
How did I miss this?! Excellent!
Thank you for sharing this. This collaboration was so great, I can't believe I never heard it before!
the part where she starts screaming gives me chills
I won't complain anymore you pair of crazies!!
THIS PERFORMANCE IS FUCKING INSANeeee. Björk the only queen
Thanks for watching and commenting Kato
@@ScottishTeeVee Thanks to you for the video 🖤
TOTP in the 90's , almost certainly mimed. I forget that people just stumbling upon these videos wont know that. Pfah! Young people. And Bjork is almost 60. Fuck me, where did the years go!
Makes sense since the other queen is now dead
What a kickass collaboration! The energy!!! 🤘
@ScottishTeeVee you’re the nuts mate, thanks for all the tremendous vids practically exclusive to your channel. Subscribed a long time ago!
Thank you very much, I do appreciate the subscription and comments.
Best days !!
Jeez, I love SA, and Bjork. What a combo. What a performance.
Why had I never seen or heard of this before?
Well I'm glad you found and enjoyed this video Steve
@@ScottishTeeVee giddyup STV👍
This is hard as fuck and says everything about why the 90s were so so good.
They were Gods for this performance.
Bjork went out there, not totally picking up the vibe right away, but she adapted perfectly. GOAT shit. Also, Skunk Anansie fucking rules.
lo mas cercano que veremos a bjork haciendo rock industrial o trip hop
