You need to get rid of the seed shrimp asap. There eating all the small stuff you baby shrimp need. Maby put a guppy or two in the tank until those pesky seed shrimp are gone.
@@BehappyBeeshrimp this is something I will consider. I have a small school of white clouds I could move over if necessary. I have tons of 1 day old babies all over the filter right now and I’ve been dosing powdered food right on top of them. I’m curious how they will do, and I’m worried that they would be decimated by the white clouds.
It’s a genuine problem I’m having! The tank has been set up for 16 months and I went from 8 to 30 shrimp. Surely by now it should be dramatically higher.
@ I think the issue is a lack of fine particles small enough for the baby shrimp. In a natural ecosystem there’s all kinds of minuscule detritus and organic particles to eat

Dude are you merely just making and presenting material to be watched,,,,, ,or is this a genuine problem you're having?

@@GlassBoxShrimp OK, , what do you feel are the defining differences between an enclosure and a habitat?

@ Okay. I see the nature of your question. I’m not sure what my takeaway should be
