      Awesome Tongans like ALL Ethnicities come in all shades, shapes and sizes and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Malo Aupito siana.
      Though as an aside. There have been many "blessings" with Christianity in the Pacific but I can understand why our ancestors accepted the God of the invaders/colonizers.
      It was I guess abeit the Spiritual part it was also "cultural capital" and our people being smart enough to take and mould Christianity into our traditions and cultures that predated the invasions for thousands of years. Though there were cultural traditions that were lost. In Samoa in particular the denunciation of the Matriarchal Cheifly lines replaced or dominated by Patriarchal lines.
      It's in our oral history people. XXX

      Well, white jesus owns the mind of these islands, so of course the opposite of your God image would be shameful and something you have to deny.

    • @1laforees829
      @1laforees829 3 роки тому

      The Majority of Polynesians are Christians. The history you speak of is based on the conquerors of those islands. The blackbirding history details who they were collectively I didn't say they were from Africa. Black based on the term of racial description. They were heavily melanated. The asian presence came as forced laborers with the colonists. They held a status below white people but always above the original people of these islands.

    • @1laforees829
      @1laforees829 3 роки тому

      The original Austronesians are heavily melananted(BLACK) people.
