I've seen in other videos where the person uses the horizontal line and clicks and drags it up for profits and down for setting stop loss but when i click on the DOM to make a trade, it doesn't pop up with the horizontal line to make my purchase.
Right at the start I gotta ask why you have your Watchlist panel so big? For me, all I need to see there are the names or symbol of those on my watchlist......
The trade execution feature does not serve the same purpose as the short and long tool? After executing a trade can you use the short in long tool to make modifications? I was using the short and long tool and then copying over the information into the Execution feature. A pain in the ass.
Yes but how do you set a buy or sell order when the entry point is reached ? Every time I place my order it activates immediately I only want the order to start when a certain level is reached.
Hi, can you tell me how to sell a pre-ordered allotted IPO shares at the very beginning price as soon it crosses and is available for trading in Webull. I always miss the initial released price point and end up losing money as the recent IPOs have only been coming crashing down or getting halted to a very low price point in a matter of seconds and I am losing lot of money. Appreciate your help very much. Cheers! Kruthika
Trying to view your video on a mobile device while you have it in Dark mode is silly. Something to keep in mind the next time you put out an instruction video...
With a limit order you are basically saying you want to buy XYZ at $100 limit or below. So if the current price is $95 at the time of your limit buy order, it basically will act as a market buy cause it immediately falls under the $100 limit or below. Hope that makes sense
Good job on the video dude but God almighty....... Fuck all the shit we got to go through to be financially stable... Fuck I can barely afford food right now....
Why are my orders getting canceled and or rejected? I’m on my paper reading account and I’m up 761$ from 100$. Today alone… so I put 100$ in my real account (willing to risk the 100$ but when I place orders to sell/buy they either get canceled or rejected. Can someone help thanks
That you for sharing. How good is execution for day trading? It seems to me that to have to change tab from market to limit or stop order is too cumbersome when you want to enter a trade fast.
Yeah if you are scalping and looking to get in and out fast it can take a bit. Thats where using the price ladder (DOM) and or hot keys can come in if needed
Help me i openned a new account with 1000 dollars but whe i try open a position with 100 dollars with no leverage they tell me i dont have enough money(found)
when i go limit order on tarding view and put btc for example at 25000 and current price is 25500 as soon as i set my limit order it always buys straight away. it doesnt wait till the prices goes to 25000 to buy. I dont know what to do. please help.
Your order could be getting filled due to a super wide ask-bid spread. Meaning 25,500 is the market price but if someone was selling at 25,000 limit sell, your limit buy gets filled.
Hi, Great video mate. I use Interactive Brokers and have connected it to Tradingview. I was wondering can i scalp using Interactive Brokers with Tradingview
i'm new and starting this and trying to follow with the paper trading but I don't have the icon for the order panel and when I try to find the setting to undock , that's not available either.
nice video but you dit not explained what does ticks ask + 10 for instance mean.. i know it has to do with ups or dow but what down or up ..and looked for this hole day long and did not find any explanation nor how they are used. so please can lyou explaain this ?
Hey man, when I place orders, I like to move my stop loss up above where I bought in. So I always come out positive no matter what. With that being said, if I let my order go till the next day will my stop loss still be active during the post and pre market?
That will come down to the broker and the product you are trading from my understanding. As long as you set "good till canceled" you should be good on TradingView's side, but then it comes down to how your broker works and if they will allow those orders to hold up in the pre market and after hours. I know some don't allow them in the pre and post so I would double check with the broker to confirm

What’s the point of single click trading in the corner if you can’t set stops and tps

Hi, Great video mate. I use Interactive Brokers and have connected it to Tradingview. I was wondering can i scalp using Interactive Brokers with Tradingview
You can, just be careful of the executions. I don't scalp myself so it has not been a problem for me in terms of any slight delays or fills
@@TCTrading thank you so much. Do you know if i need to set my IBKR to any specific settings to do so?
