- A cloudy day with slight rainfall. Test given post lunch i.e. after 3 PM. The sight of the test area is at 3 PM, already flogging with impatient and unruly people. So, the suggestion would be report to the test area half an hour prior to the test slot, for registering thumb impressions and submitting the necessary documents.
The documents are 3 Passport size photos, Form 4, Original Learners Licence (attested by RTA Authority), Payment Receipt for Driving Test, Photocopies of Vehicle RC, Insurance Certificate and Pollution Under Control Certificate.
The test is very simple and involves negotiating an English 8 track, followed by a H track (in reverse) and concluding with a turn in reverse through a tight corner. That's All!
Achtung!
*Wear your Seat belt at all times.
*Use Indicators. They are not lying on the steering stalk, for no reason.
*Please drive responsibly. You can be a nut, but can't be replaced like one!

Thank you very much for this video. I went for my test today Feb 23rd 2022 and cleared it. The track is exactly as you have shown in this video and it helped a lot.
I went without an agent and was wondering if it will be tough but staff there were very very helpful.

No, this video was uploaded long time ago, for the utility of test givers. Unfortunately, they do not allow access to the test track for such use.

As long as it doesn't appear like you stalled, it is Okay, but technically your vehicle must not stop, unless you are changing direction or waiting for somebody to finish, on the track. Unfortunately, it is subjective to the examiner. After the H, you'd have to turn and do the reverse parking test.

First you do left in reverse and then forward, then right in reverse.

Which car did u used for driving test?? Pls let me know
This was a Chevrolet Spark used for the test. I would suggest you to use any entry level, short wheelbase hatchback, for the test.

@@mvkrishnarao8399 I would suggest you get a smaller car, if possible. As the track has limited width, it'd be slightly difficult to negotiate if you are a learner. If you had been driving for a while and in tight spaces, then Creta would just be enough.

Today I cleared the test with my jeep compass on the same track. The last part is obsolete now. They ask for 8 and H only.
I see, please do share your experience. The reverse parking would have been different on such a large SUV
So only 8 and H is Enough?

When should we give indicators ? Can a person who has not taken driving classes, just learned driving at home can pass the test?
Hi Kritika, you are talking to one such person. I never took professional driving classes. About the indicators, you must use them 50 Meters before negotiating the turn, depending on vehicle speed.

No, the people are helpful, if approached properly. Due to the rush at the center, they may not be able to spend more time per person, but they help as much as possible, within a stipulated time.

Yes, there is a traffic police examiner observing, from the building near the starting point and I guess there are cameras installed across the track now.

It is not necessary, until you have a disability as mentioned.
so just online bill receipt & form 4 is enough along with those 3 necessary docs for the vehiclr

1. Lend a car from friend, etc.
2. Rent a car from Zoom, etc.
3. Get a car from the driving school.

Can i use i20 car on these track
Using an i20 shouldn't be a problem on the track. It all depends on your confidence and comfort in taking turns and parking, as it is a larger vehicle.
