Im disappointed they were playing euchre with identical twins and that wasn’t a setup they were the same person from different timelines and that’s how they know about the umbrella effect, and they’re doing a Loki/silfi thing. Like I was waiting for a reveal one of them was from the magic subway .
I found out that this season only have 6 episodes WHEN IM ON EP6! Up till that point there were no sign of the season ending until it abruptly end. I remember thinking “surely this season is divided to 2 parts”😢 bc there were too much loose ends to tie. They did a really bad job like with Ben’s charater arc, bc i still despise Ben as a character. Also Klause pull out a flying ability out of his ass in the final fight which hurts because I THOUGHT IT WAS SLOAN COMING BACK😭😭

I thought Luther's ape body was due to Hargreeves injecting him with something to save him. So why did getting the Marigold back, give him back his ape body?

You failed to mention Five's disguise at the Keeper's meeting is a clear nod to Travis Bickle from "Taxi Driver." This is actually just one of many references to "Fight Club" ... such as Season 3 recap showing Hargreeves and his wife looking over the city EXACTLY like Marla and the narrator, the Keeper's meetings themselves (the narrator's self-help meetings in Fight Club), Luther's rundown house to which Ben is invited, and the pay phone receiving an incoming call for Ben. I'm sure there are more.
Not a good ending they should have transferred the marigold back to the bottle, five sacrifices himself by teleporting them to the subway, teleports back and let the creature take him and the bottle of marigold
Easily the worst ending of anything I’ve seen, I loved season1 and 2, 3 wasn’t great but after a rewatch it isn’t to bad but 4 was terrible, I’m so disappointed you can tell Netflix just gave up completely, I hope in the future we get another season or a film, no Sloane, no proper explanation of marigold or Durango. How the hell did Jennifer end up in an actual giant squid
The special effects on Jenifer and Ben were worse than Terminator 2, a 33 year old movie. It was garbage and everything felt rushed. bad script, big plot holes, horrible special effects, shitty ending.
There was a couple of Back to the Future references in this as well. The opening scene had the twin pines mall logo and the town had the same clock on the clock tower. We also get another reference later in episode 6

YES, we saw him manipulating the trajectory of bullets in the cold open of S2 IN AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE (where it seemed like everyone had a bit of a glow-up). HOWEVER...as the footage used in this video shows...he ALSO did it at the END of S2 fighting off The Commission IN THE SHOW'S NORMAL TIMELINE. (And then we were just ROBBED of it in S3 for some reason.) Him manipulating the trajectory of the bullets in S4 is STILL that SAME EXACT POWER!!!!! As for upgrades...David Castañeda DID reveal to The Direct this week that Diego DID get one...and it was LEFT ON THE CUTTING ROOM FLOOR. He shared that in the van scene in ep. 2, Diego learned that he could also hold his breath for a very long time...consistent with his powers from the comics (and the powers he had in the original pilot episode script). And it has made me VISCERALLY upset that Steve Blackman decided to give Klaus his OG pilot script/comic powers (i.e. levitation), but not Diego.
I love the binge drop - I watched UA season 4 (what few episodes there ARE of it) yesterday. I liked most of it, but I really don't like the big bad of the season or how the ending worked. like at all.
couple mistakes, Hargreaves was revealed to be an alien twice in previous seasons and Klaus uses TLC lyrics, not destiny's child lyrics. the cult was called destiny's children but yeah he quoted tlc. don't go chasing waterfalls. stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to 😂
I need someone to explain the whole first episode because I have no idea what the hell is even happening anymore and I don't care enough to keep going.

i will say, the actor who plays 5 was cast when he was 14, and he is now 20. His age is what the character's age should be now.
Aidan Gallagher who plays five was 19 or 20 years old when filming this season.
