I've never seen a guy that is not regarded as an all time great be able to respond like this. You hear stories of Kobe or MJ all the time of getting trash talked, then shutting everyone up, but when do you hear those stories about a player like Bautista? He is so underrated. It takes talent to respond to this level, only a few can do it.
I 100% agree with you he is such an underrated player.. literally had one of the best flow I seen
Jesus died for you
He didn’t start becoming a great player until he was 30.
Aa
Dude could rake
This makes me smile every time I watch it.

Every time is two words, jackass.
Jackass is one word, every time.
TheBatugan77 everytime
Especially the Odor video.....😂😂😂😂
3:54 one of the most poetic clips from a baseball game. I just love that the ball lands perfectly in line with the pitcher and the cameraman.
"Poetic"?
@@jvelin9723 'poetic justice'... google it ;-)
Hardly poetic justice when there was no intent with that pitch. Just a rookie pitcher with control issues.
can't believe we probably just watched him play his last in toronto. damn what a treat and an honour it's been to have him repping us for all these years. talented, passionate, never boring to watch, and despite the reputation he has in the media, a true class act. thank you for everything jose
And today, he retires a blue jay. ❤
If you play this video in reverse, the pitchers get their revenge after Jose went deep.
If you play the video in reverse, fans sitting in the outfield stands show off incredible throws throwing strikes to Bautista who consistently lines out to the pitcher. The catcher then awkwardly throws the ball back to the pitcher from his glove 😂
@@austinbourdages actually, the batters somehow suck the ball into their bat in the form of an arc, as if gravity is in play despite the altered physics
@@Conqueefstador truly incredible isn’t it
0:44. That bat release was just beautiful.
U talkin fancy honestly his flip was a bajillion times better
Seems to do well when he's thrown at or when the crowd boos him loudly. Impressive really, not many athletes can shut people up as much as this guy.
Exactly, he has a weird knack for doing dramatic things at clutch times. Look at his first game back to Texas, went 2-4 and drove in 5 runs, one was a 3 run HR. Its too bad he's getting old now though and coming down from his prime it looks like. I'm actually shocked he didn't jack that HR off Bush in the bottom of the 9th when game was tied in the Texas series this past season. He's just not the same guy now though, age does that. But he was AMAZING.
He feeds off the hate
If he's soooo great why is he still teamless? Nobody wants him...he's garbo.
Not teamless anymore dumb fuck!
Daidi Fantaye LoL if he so good why he’s not playing in the mlb now ?
I didn’t like him at all before he came to my team the Mets. He was a real team player, and played wherever he was told to and always gave 100’%. He had a great attitude and helped young players. He was accessible to the fans and was always smiling. All the love to him whatever he does the rest of his life
This is the kind of thing I'll miss most about Bautista. No one else can make you pay for pitching him inside like this guy!
Jose Bautista has a hidden stat.
Power when Pissed : 1000
No the stat is
Power when he's Pissed: 9,001
+TheNukeMan well now the stat is chin health-0 after odor
One of the reasons I love this Jays team is that they respond to shit like this. You throw at someone's head, they run the score up on you. Bautista, Donaldson, Encarnacion...
You piss any of them off, good luck.
Fuck ha just like when the royals threw at Donaldson 3 times then they whooped those fools
+tanner hendriks Royals would have never won the World Series if it weren't for Will Harris and Tony Sipp. Game 4 ALDS. Top of the 8th. Luckiest inning ever
+Rhys Cruz In the end who executed? The Royals did. You can pick certain players or plays for all teams and say they should not have won because of it. Why can't the Blue Jays catch a pop fly? And after that why couldn't the pitchers get the other batters out?
whyamimrpink78 Will Harris Tony Sipp. That's all that matters
+Rhys Cruz And the same can be said about the Blue Jays. Elvis Andrus committed 2 errors in the bottom of the 7th. Mitch Moreland committed another one. Erase those errors the game is different.
Seems like you are butt hurt
The bat speed was just insane.
One of my all time favorites, the man is a legend. What he did to Texas in the playoffs will be remembered for 100 years
Also will remember him getting blasted by rougned odor. Bautista was a fake tough guy. Had serious pop though
@@Speyeder121Even as a Jays fan, that punch by odor was really awesome. Would love to see an ALDS rematch this year and bring back that rivalry
How come every time he's gets mad at a pitcher he hits a home run
eazeh79 I know seen that so many times makes me laugh it's good piss him off and he will hit so good
eazeh79 that is what they are telling don't mess up with him
eazeh79 cause he's a monster when pissed off.
Because its Jose Bautista
Josh Donaldson adrenaline sharpens your senses
0:48 that bat flip needs to be on MLB the show , it’s so smooth.
Already is
That last home run was funny as hell...the way he took 5 seconds to admire it hahHahahah
Agreed
+tato2493528 I love how he waited for the pitcher to look at him before he flips the bat.
I believe after this season and post season Bautista should be given honorary Canadian citizenship. the id should have a picture of a bat mid flip. Jose too stronk
One thing I loved about Bautista, was when he hit the ball hard & clean, you knew 99% of the time it was gone. Didn’t have to wait to hear it in the commentators voice, or for no camera switch to the fence angle. What made this even more special, was the often certainty that this 1 swing brought home multiple runs each time. It was like the pavlovs dog reaction because once you saw him crack the ball, you’d immediately be thinking game is a W, or at least taking leads & getting back into any game just like that. When he hit 54 in 2010, it felt like every ball he hit was a home run. Like every ball he hit was going to do damage in some form. On the edge of your seat whenever he stepped up
Most clutch player I've ever watched, game 5 ALDS just happened
+Ja Sn Love Joey Bats but did you miss out on Big Papi's career? The home run plus the aftermath are more historic than the man who hit it.
+Ja Sn super clutch in game 1 of the ALCS.
Bautista is awesome but you obviously weren't watching Ortiz in 04 07 and 13
One clutch play =/= clutch player
+Ja Sn And the blue jays just got their asses eliminated!!
Odor flagged this video for misleading title
It's funny because the Rangers can't take a loss. They need revenge for losing. It's pretty sad actually. lol
It's sad some people have no sportsmanship.
checkmate ^^^
William Perryman
The bat flip wasn't anything special dumbass, it was emotion built up over years of waiting for success, in a city that is finally getting it. It was nothing against Texas, it was for the Jays fans. The Rangers can't take a little bat flip? C'mon now. Maybe they should take lessons on winning playoff games instead of sucker punching Jose, for a little slide. We never had anything against the Rangers, but they seem to want a war.
Michael myers fan 1978
Okay there bud. By the way, it's *you and everybody*. I was also trying to make peace with a Rangers fan, by saying we mean no harm.
One of my favorite players of all time man.
Bautista will always be my favorite blue jays player
michelle hanco
Joe Carter? Just sayin. Or are you too young?
George bell
He is up there will Bell and Carter
Not even on the top 10 Jays of all time
Love his revenge HRs! I was at that Yankees game vs Ivan Nova. aweseome experience!
Who’s watching this 5 years later and they don’t play baseball anymore but this brings back your memories when u use to play
you mess with Bautista and he hits your fist with his jaw.
Hahahaha first comment ever to make me laugh out loud! That's great.
He got a boptista, right in the mouth!
Bautista was punched in the face by Odon months ago. No I'm not a Rangers fan.
lol savage
ya but Batista did'nt even fall down and odor was rubbing his fist after!
How does he hit so well every time he gets angry??? Anger is drug for him...
He gets really focused and puts his mind on it. When he really wants to do something he does it so easily.
+Insert name HERE he doesnt hit well at all....he hit .250
+Bidwellz9 yeah this season dafuck you talking about he doesnt hit well guy can hit in the .260-.300
Critically 587
???????????????? hes a lifetime .250 hitter "dafuck" are you saying????????
he was damn near out of baseball a few years ago, hes not good
Those were his bad seasons pre Toronto and two of the seasons with Toronto his season ended prematurely and hell this season he suffered another injury which left him out of action for a while
I love when he hits it and just watches it sail away 🐐
Better to get punched in may than get knocked out in october
hahaha damn right brother
Manuel Gomez Blue Jays got both this year though
and Bats got both
I also known you posted this before that, just and Indians fan poking some fun after all the stuff bats said. Great player, but made himself look like a fool.
Not before they humiliated Texas again. LOL
I like that Joey Bats is so fiery,. Damn Baseball should be exciting, not dull and boring. I'm Pro Joey Bats and Bryce Harper
I'm pro Harper but anti Bautista. Odor is fiery but not a douche like Bautista. Otherwise though, I agree. Baseball should be exciting.
+Expansion of Dongs odor is no better than Batista
+CD Highlights he did an interview before the 2010 season and they showed how he has changed his swing from his pirates days... it isnt juicing, hes passed all of his drug tests, its just practice and dedication
DragonRage 2257 And Jose isn't big at all. He's actually kinda skinny, He does have a little bit of muscle you can see when he wears t-shirts in practice but he's far from a juicer or big guy. He's proud of being natural though and he's against PEDs.
Exactly, hes what, maybe 6' and 215lbs... No way hes juicin
😭😭😭 te seguimos extrañando en Toronto, si el tiempo pudiera volver, Jose fue y sera un idolonde los bluejays
Man, Bautista will always be a Blue Jays legend:(
I miss the swagger of that Jays team. Love Jose and when he was a Blue Jay. Bad boys of summer.
@Turd Furgeson LOL if you sucker punch someone you better send them to the ground, instead the Jays eliminated the Rangers in back to back years. You're clearly an angry Rangers fan. Suck it.
@Turd Furgeson What a pathetic life you must have if that's your happy place
I watched every single one of these games. That man was a BEAST!
This dude is legit... one of my favorite home run hitters in AL... but still, I bleed blue, Dodger blue!!
"Don't mess with Jose Bautista". AKA: Jose Bautista shreks the Orioles.
Hands of Cinderblock LOL Fuck Baltimore, shitty ass city
oh my godddddd, guys...
***** I've never been, but I think I saw it on the news recently...
For the record, I was praising Bautista, not slighting Baltimore.
The bitching Bautista! The one who falls to the dirt on an outside pitch nowhere near his head! Pray the Tom Brady of baseball! All hail!
Jose skipping down the line is one of my favorite moments, ever.
So petty lol I love it
Anyone else repeatedly watching this video to try and regain respect for Jose after the Roughned Odor fight?
lol

Here in Russia, you don't hit Bautista, Bautista hit you.
Terry Treger except if you’re from Texas.
There is not baseball in russia
Austin Madore gay like you brother
Only Chang when did he get revenge never end of story gn
He did he lead him.team to knock them out
I remember when jose firat came here and he had some pop but was so inconsistany then he had that breakout year and took over, hes this generations goat blue jay he made an entire group of young people fans of baseball and the mlb should thank him because toronto now has the youngest attending people in the mlb and is almost always sold out
he took it out on the ball everytime. classic!
Baseball needs more players like Bautista.
He was The Baddest Man on the planet when he was in his prime.
Thanks Bautista.
Ike Jones well said 🔐
1k dislikes. The amount of O's fans at a 2016 O's game
look at the 4:00 mark. no Gays fans at that game
We literally had the third highest attendance in the MLB this year... idiot
Not necessarily. Anyone who doesn't want to see a 36 year old man acting like a punk ass bitch is sure to dislike it as well.
SK S Darren O'Day is only 34 tho
Prodog 960 try getting to the WS scum boo jays
O's fans gonna hate
***** Name me one thing your team has won in the past 20 years
Braden Weir We might not have won a World Series for the past 20 years. But your team hasn't won one for the past 30.
Braden Weir Pwned Y'idiot! O's fans gonna hate! KARMA to your wingless orioles
Last time jays won a division? Haha. Last time they won a playoff series?? Haha. I'm not even a Orioles fan
Jose Bautista is the Richard Sherman of baseball.
I watch This vid over and over. 12/17/21
The beard and the fulminating stares by Bautista, get the pitchers peeing their pants.
Luis Donado Yeah, and then, Odor right cross...
Chuck Woods lol odor couldnt even knock him down with a free shot to the face. Man needs to start lifting before he goes up against a monster like bautista.
Luis Donado Still whopped his ass though lol.
@@s.tavares3257 when did that happen
@@DoBap_ please. Bautista is all look. He ain’t doing shit to nobody lol.
I was at that Jays/Orioles game back in April, the one shown at the end of your clip. Yeah Bautista got the better of them, but then he went and fucked everything up in the next inning by trying to gun down Delmon Young at first base, from right field. He wasn't even close, and ended up screwing up his shoulder. Been stuck at DH until today, and the team's defense has been pathetic without him. Sometimes pride gets the better of him, and it's cost the team.
When he's on, though.......few are better.
Stevo935 Very ill-advised throw, yes. But in his defense, he's thrown out runners at first on what is otherwise an outfield single a few times now.
Defense looks pretty good to me now and there record ehh
Hey, no argument here, haha! It's been more about Donaldson, Edwin, Tulo and Price, though, than Bautista, who isn't really the focal point anymore I don't think. Still a really fun team to watch now, though! I managed to score some tix to next Friday, luckily enough, so that'll be awesome.
+Kevin Hernandez Well that's a coherent, mature reply.
This never gets old
For all you people saying he got decked or ko'd or roped or whatever u gonna say, he didn't. He never fell. He was still standing. He never got knocked out. He's tough unlike others that could maybe not handle that kind of a punch.
+Ronald Mudbone you can't talk shit after he sent your ass back to Texas in the ALDS
lmao after he got punched it looked like he just drank a big a bottle of vodka
Man I love how he has such an extreme personality it makes everything so much more interesting
I'm a Torotonian and this is one tough city to play for and it's sad!! Every team we have had that has a marquee player? When the player hits a slump.... they destroy them and gets traded. However when they play for the next team they turn into Fiyah 🔥🔥🔥 not out to offend anyone just giving you the truth!!
So true
You know you can mess with him when it opens up with headstrong.
never gets old! love this vid!
This is one of the main reasons TO loved Jose
José Bautista 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴👌
Bautista position is like hardcore but a real challenge too. Getting hit by incoming baseballs and taking home runs while telling the haters to go fuck off.... Not a bad way to be a example of perseverance.
Joseph Pena
Absolutely!
O,day the o dick started this after a K,and taunting him right after, then JB clobbers his meatball over the left field wall.Keep on going Jose.
C Black The last series against the Orioles was awesome. Watching Bautista whine when he struck out was awesome.
EmperorGolem yep
Oh man,... Could watch this for am hour.
Joey bats .. damn I miss last decade.
Jose has that “it became personal” gene that greatness requires
Thanks for understanding!
this is how you reply as a sportsman and not by pulling up a brawl..
I'm impressed
Don't know if toronto blue jays will have an awesome player as jose Batista he is one of a kind.
Bautista.....the most exciting player to ever don a blue jay uniform by far...

this music isn't for show, its in Jose's head all game, every game

You joined 11 years ago 😳
If Toronto had a Dave Stieb or Roy Halladay type ace on those powerhouse teams, the Jays would have a World Series championship or two now
its funny how as soon as 2 guys get in a fight on the field the entire team from both sides has to go in. like seriously 2 or 3 guys from each team all you need to break up a fight.
Devin Smith :( If you don't get in you're seen as if you don't have each others backs.... :( i don't like it either, but that is how is seen
Devin Smith When you're in a team, you get along with your teammates and at some point you see them as brothers or a 2nd family. So everyone will have each others backs
MaRTiiiNxD nothing to do with this teammate stuff, it's just a baseball thing, even if you don't like your teammates, you still have to walk out there, if someday they chnage the rule to NBA-like, where bench players aren't allowed to enter the floor, this "teammate" thing would just dissapear.
nappa antonio no. head hunting would increase. why would the pitcher think twice about throwing at someone when he knows the batter would be all by himself against 8 of his teammates who are already on the field?
Devin Smith You're right

Never seen a player thrown at more than Jose, and Umps do nothing about it. Dirty MLB and Umps cheat. Cant blame Jose for the jacked up attitude against the entire MLB. He gets absolutely no respect because hes a Jay. If he played for Boston or the Yankees he would be a hero and have a monument made of him one day. Love you Jose.

this too damn nostalgic lol
I may be bias but he did light up pitchers that he didn't like.
he's my favorite player my nuber is his
Number
But of course if Bryce Harper does something like this he's a "douche" or "classes"...double standards are alive and well in baseball today.
It's because he's young, and many people assume immaturity is the reason. Personally, I don't know Bryce, nor does anyone else, so I can't judge him, but he looks like he does have some learning to do. But at the same time, He is being compared with the past greats, and other star rooks who are different, who are all associated with a good legacy. Building off of that point, everybody just sort of expects Bryce to make the hall of fame and be a model player that all kids look up to because of the talent he has and expectations people have for him as a result, and Bryce can't be himself without being called flawed. This is different with Bautista because while he still maybe is a great player and role model to kids, it isn't on the same level because he isn't expected to be a hall of famer, or be a 'great' so to speak, because he started the good phase of his career late, and was never going through high school, scouting, draft(whom Bryce was number 1 pick in), farm systems, as the stand out "next great" kid. I think as time goes on, he'll channel his actions, and think them instead of show. This will allow him to become more relaxed and the media/fans won't get to pick on him anymore so they will move onto someone else.
WOW that was a really long post. I would like to personally congratulate you if you read that masterpiece of mine.
Kpatel exactly he hasn't been around the game long enough to be cocky, but now he is a super star so he can probably do whatever he wants now.
Tyler Heflebower Well he is still young. Only 22 years, he needs more time to mature. I do agree though that this year is a huge step for him in both his career and how he is growing as a person because of the success he is having. Hopefully he continues to grow.
Yeah.. Definitely has to do with Bautista being a "senior" in the game.. The new guys are always considered cocky if they get upset or if they pimp a dinger..Bautista does get up on the plate though so his chances are higher of getting pegged
Right veteran players can get away with it look at big papi
The best
