Cass Frizz Thanks so much! It was fun to work on. I’m recording something right now, actually, but I don’t have any requests at the moment so let me know if you have one!
May I have permission to download it? I’m thinking of using it to sing along at church. I’m not rich, but I hope to pass this video to give a like with possibles subscribers. Thank you very much. I listened to others guitars, not to compare but I enjoy singing along with yours.
@@hisstoryjesus it’s a little crazy that I don’t have that one up. Is there a particular key you would like it in? I’m not sure that I can promise any key, but I’ll take a look. Seems like most hymnals have it in Eb.
@@MifflinMountainMusic That’s a good point. I’m not sure but if you can try to make the chorus a bit more melody. Just imagine the instrument the children play with that’s a metal like piano, so when it starts off “at the cross, at the cross Where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight,And now I am happy all the day!” It may sound joyous, really at the cross, feeling it the heart fill with love and gratitude, then sing It was there by faith like the heart is overflowing with joy that one hand must swing along like we’re marching with a procession for what Christ did for us. Ha, sorry, I can’t read music but I know it’s a happy hymn with a deep solemn contrition at each beginning-part before the chorus, that it’s a contemplation and conviction, that the chorus leads us to sing with no burden of sin for what Jesus did for us, that we’re jubilant children of God and the Father. That’s the best I can try to describe music. May God give you the Holy Spirit to lead your heart, mind, and fingers. God bless in Christ Jesus.
This is a favorite of many! Let me know what other hymn you want to hear as I journey through the hymn book so I get to yours a little quicker! Share with your friends if it has been a blessing!
The Pearly white city! I would love to hear that with a guitar! 😊
So beautiful! I need you Sunday!
Haha! Thank you. Happy Easter!
This is one of my favorite hymns. Absolutely beautiful.

I don’t own any copyright on it, so it’s fine with me if you download it.
Thank you. God bless you in Christ Jesus. May the Spirit lead you.

What are the chords to this?
Almost the whole song goes G C G D, or G C G D G. I hope that helps!
