My condolences for your coworker. A few years back, my company where I've worked for 17 years now within a span of 6 months lost 2 of its 3 owners to cancer and heart failure respectively and it was devastating. I also have a childhood friend whose father is battling a recent stage 4 diagnosis with not the best prognosis. All that to say, I can relate to your sadness and shock. I think it's wonderfully kind and thoughtful to memorialize her in your own way. 🧡
What a crazy day! I'm glad you were on top of the situation and everyone got home safely. I'd absolutely be retreating to a warm, cozy cocoon after an ordeal like that, on top of the weather. I'm glad you found your mittens. I watched the tutorial last year. I should revisit it and finally make myself a pair. I'll definitely need to add length as well. My fingers are longer than most adults, so I usually need XL for my gloves and mitts.
Happy Krampusnacht a day late!!!! Yesterday was a day OOOOOF. I had a doc appt and my husband had to go to the VA. So loads of fun. I cant wait to see the finished blankets.
Hi Heather! Omg, I'm glad everyone is okay! That is crazy about your job! I guess the morning shift will see how much you guys actually do for them. They should send you Christmas cookies! 💙🎄🍪
Hey Heather. Sounds like a very exciting night at work. Glad everyone was ok. Please link the pattern again. I want to make some for my grandkids. One day for my great grandchild. Also my kids would probably like some too. I would love to have your Santa hat pattern again too. I know all of my family would like one of those. My favorite square so far is the orange, yellow, and brown one between the heart and the black and white one. I love that square. I’m sorry to hear about your boss’s boss.
Omg! That happened near us last spring!! There was a huge thunderstorm and a tornado in town. It knocked an electric pole down and put a live wire on top of a row of Molly Maid cars. They caught fire and burned for hours before it was safe for the fire department to handle it. We all lost power for that time because they had to shut down a section of the power grid.

Glad everyone was ok, that was scary. Your blanket is looking awesome! Gorgeous color of today's yard. 😊
Well here in Massachusetts we love a good thunderstorm in a Nor'easter. So cool. Glad everyone is ok.

The blanket is looking great. I suspect Maverick would be opposed, but he would look adorable in a granny square dog coat this winter.

Oh no. I hope their heat is working!
Oh no. I’m so sorry! I’m keeping you and her family in my thoughts.
I think it’s a fabulous idea to make the blanket to honor her memory.

Always up for a good pattern and this weather is nasty here in Ohio also and am in Northeast area.
