Hi! Thanks for the content! I really apreciated this new update has a lot of improvment, now I can operate the wheel loader with the g29, pedals and joystick. I'm waiting for the an IA/helper like Fs22 for the dumpers and make a little bit more realistic, beacuse I don't like drive a dumper and then jump to the excavator and so on.

It has changed with the recent updates. You need to open vehicle tab (Q if i remember right) and prior have bought colour, tracks and lights from the shop. Place items you want to install in quickbar, than open vehicle tab and drag them into the slots.
Press P to open the shop and buy the parts you wish to customise. Go into the vehicle and press I to access vehicle inventory then drag and drop them to where you wish.
For me its not about efficiency but more about spending as much time in the EX as possible. Next gameupdate will be very interesting as it adds progression for the default game mode and thus efficiency might start to play more of a role for that mode. Yes you can dig extremely deep. If i remember right at about 24m depth you will hit bedrock, which you have to rip/use explosive to be able to dig it. Or switch to the underground mining drill. And the bedrock goes real deep i think about 2-4km, something it that range.
You make it look easy.. I bought the game and it is SO bad at setting things up, controls are all over the place and only just getting them sorted, nothing "intuitive" or standard, then I have my hopper and a simple conveyor and a storage and .. nothing goes in because.. things don't snap? Really annoyed at this stage. guess I'll take it slow but it is extremely bad for new players (and I am an experienced operator at that.
Yes there where some UI changes that didnt make things easier IMHO, as you now have multiple hotkeys instead of one key and a menu for everything. Yet i have to say i am not aware of any snaping issues with the productions units in the current version. For me everything snaps into place at it used to and so the basic setup from this vid is still running on most of my saves without issue.

I also like to spent most of my time digging with the EX, thats why i drag the hopper along with me.

Tonnage wise more towards 345C, chassis wise 385C. I think the vehicles ingame are usually similar to but not excat replicas of RL ones. :)

this is a lot more effective than drive truck back and forth. i saw a massive pit in real life is it possible in this game?
