I saw this when I was a boy of 18 and now am 39 and still we can't solve this yet we have had more than 100 government officials who used the same ROAD and experienced the same SITUATION.
    These are KILLERS not LEADERS.

      Childish talk!
Why are the gutters open the first place.
Are our leaders not the same people that went to school abroad.

The government needs to banned rubber plastic,it’s the main cause of flooding in Ghana all the gutters are choked

    • @tn5403
      @tn5403 2 роки тому +4

I think banning plastics is not wholly the solution, we should rather ban the construction of open drains whilst creating factories to recycle these plastics

We rather need better drainage systems.. how come in America there are barely any floods. Our government steals our tax money and they use for luxury car

Please tree planting doesn't stop rain pouring down.
Kwahu is uphill or highland and the trees helps the climate but again it doesn't stop flooding after rain falls.

    All this is common sense
    We Ghanaians, Excuse me
Our leaders are very very wicked, this is because, whenever they travelled to the White's country, there's no open gutter oooh...
So ask yourself, how can plastics, & waste block the gutters.
When Ghanaians are constructing gutters ,open gutters everywhere.
    Why

It's pathetic, and I don't know when we will learn from this, looks like our leaders take pleasure in this, cos its been occurring year after year. They must find the cause and solution. That's why we pay them.

@@kwaboraboolang6526 the leaders are supposed to enforce the laws, for example, someone drinks water and throw the sachet on the floor, no one punishes him or her, if the person is dumb enough to litter around freely, Is the one in charge of sanitation dumb too, don't forget this person is being paid every month for this with the taxpayers' money. Now go abroad n see, *every 100 metre you will find a dust bin or trash collection sachet, *children are taught in schools not to litter about, cos filt will bring diseases and flooding, do u think we don't use plastics abroad? We do, but no gutter is chocked, our leaders are have no vision for the wellbeing of Ghanaians , they only think about how they can have ten mansions in East legon. I blame them.

@@vandalineadu2128 I understand, but it doesn't happen every single year in Germany for example, cimpared to ghana, ours is as a result of chocked drains. I insist the leaders must ensure pple are punished for littering, Ghana is 64 or 65 I guess after independence, but look around us, the systems are not working at all.
