Alright. I came here after watching another video of some dude that was like Yeah do this in three days! withfiveyearsofpracticalexperience. I cannot tell you how valuable your video was to me. I was doing the active recall part all wrong and you experience in doing it genuinely helped the shit outta me. I appreciate you making this video. I appreciate you showing your failure (I'm a perfectionist as well and ended up getting a 50 on my first practice quiz) and for reinforcing that that's just your starting point. Genuinely, awesome video.
5:55 I think binge content can also correlate with passive learning depending on your style. Both can be effective; when you combine the 2 they compliment each other (which you was actually doing here 7:38 - 7:58). And yes, I have a perfectionist _problem_ too (9:32). However, I initially opted not to take any notes due to my own (intensive) process that I was pursuing & to be more time efficient. 10:15; 11:09 I see your honesty here from last year about the difficulty level.😜 14:45 And that feeling is usually a good sign to mean that you are ready.💯
Stephanie, thanks so much for this video! I am currently working on a career change and aiming to pass this exam. Your insights and information was super useful for me.
Love love loved your video so much - loved how you spoke about the really practical advice, both the importance of bingeing content but also on importance of active recall. I was getting so tired of studying for this exam but you've given me more motivation - I think our approach to studying is quite similar. Thanks a lot!
Great Advice to add on Neal Davis & Stephane Marek AWS course in udemy is also good both the Instructor are very good in AWS Cloud certification I would recommend both of them as well
Thank you so much for making this video! very informative and professional. I love that you listed all the resources. I'll let you know when I pass and get my certification. Have a blessed new year.
Love this video, yes I have spent way too much time taking notes. Now I know that is really not useful. I love how detail and realistic your you were. Definitely going to implement active recall into my studying.
This is what I needed. I'm a lazy studier but also a perfectionist like you. I want to know everything and anything. Talking about active recall really helped put me at ease at how I'm studying right now. I can't wait to take the test and let you know how you've helped! Keep up with the great content!
Great video! Do you have a study plan that includes the specific study materials you mentioned in this video? Or can you give me a rough timeline. Right now I purchased the AWSCCP CLF-01 course you showed with the practice exams and I have the AWS practice tests for CCP book. I like the idea of content bingeing with the other resources you mentioned but I scheduled my exam for end July and I'm feeling overwhelmed without a clear plan
Hey just finished watching all of your videos! And let me tell you that it was one of the best videos I've come across on aws for a complete beginner. One query though, being an absolute beginner which aws certificate should I go for in the long run?
Hi Divya, I think it really depends what you like/want to do in your career. Do you want to do more coding or more designing of infrastructure. Or do you want to maintain and automate systems. If you can specify what you want to do in your career, then you can get specific on which certs to go for. Happy to help!
@@PerezTheDev Thank you Perez! I would look for whichver i'm most interested in.And would definitely like to get answers from you If I'd have any confusion in future.
How long did it take you from the moment you binge watched content to taking exam? Would love to know how long you spend on resources and then exam questions?
Do u think its better to skip that certification and go directly to associate certification as its a little bit similar and i have a little experience in the cloud?? Thanks 😊
I was really motivated into AWS but I just read on a article that If I have no prior experience in networking I shouldn't even bother with AWS, is that true? could I not start studying AWS and study without prior experience in comptia networking etc?
That doesn't really apply to the practioner certificate because there are no practical labs. You can pass the exam by learning some networking theory which will be available in the cloud courses (both free and paid).
Looking forward to get Aws Certified cloud practitioner exam through your guidance ✌
I liked your explanation about the aws exam.
This was the best video I've seen on getting the AWS CCP cert. You were so relatable.
That means so much to me 🥺
Did you manage to get the certification using this method?
