Hunting antelope with a bow might be one of the most frustrating things we have attempted in the woods. But when it finally comes together it's that much more rewarding.

You guys are my idols! Youre in my stomping grounds. But hey, if you're looking to hunt there again next year, I know better spots for stalking with better bucks and could totally help ya guys out! And incase you were wondering the water coming out of that pipe just down the road from your camp is tapped into a fresh spring and is completely safe to drink. It's where I feel my bladder for my elk hunts. Love the video and I look forward to seeing you guys at the hunting expo this year!
I'm a box blind hunter and I wish there were more guys like you👍I wish there was a universal sign like a flag or something to show when a blind is occupied. Flag wouldn't work though, lope would be scared of it in a breeze , hah. But something would help both the blind hunter and the stalker working the same area!
I love you guys-you keep it clean and about family. I like the big feed y’all do to.
In magazines i seen hunters use the flat decoys to stalk the antelopes or build you a portable brush blind to walk with you. PVC is light and you can duct tape brush to it
Hunting someone else' blind might be legal but that doesn't make it right. You did the right thing
Fun stuff guys! Goats are always fun to chase with a bow. Hang in there and I'm sure you'll get 'em figured out.
Bridget Fabel had somethin like that happen to her once . She was in a pop up blind by a water hole 🕳 someone came by parked close by and spooked the antelope away she was watchin .
Love all the footage and the food ratings!! Also for the camp you guys set up could you do a tour of how you set up camp and materials in the tent! Thanks!
You did the right thing, great sportsman’s!
I wouldn't sit in another person's blind, but nothing wrong with using it to hide your approach, if nobody is occupying the blind.
For being from WY, I try and give other hunters their space. Respect is important and I wish more would do the same.
I have found when it comes to Pronghorn and bowhunting, a blind on a waterhole works best, but getting it done with a stalk is a feather in your cap.
Even though you didn’t put an arrow in one, you learned a lot about what it would take to harvest an antelope with a bow 🏹 Plus having a great family time in the outdoors is always a plus.
Definitely looks like a good time. So when you say that you can get that archery 🏹 tag 🏷 every year, does that include non residents or just residents like yourselves?
As you might know my goal is to hunt pronghorn in every state that I can DIY public land style no matter what weapon type would make it easier to get a tag 🏷. Idaho is definitely on the list. Idaho is the only state that I have been on a western big game hunt although I didn’t have a tag 🏷 but came along with my youngest brother and my Dad in 2019.
Awesome video!
saw a buncha them buggers along the interstate on our Utah trip this year
My thoughts on the blind: ya super off to SIT in someone else’s blind/ tree strand. But I don’t think setting up a blind/ stand is calling “dibs” on a area. I think if there’s goats and you have a play, if there’s no one present: make the play. I wouldn’t sit in it per day, but the area is first come first serve.
Someone did that to me this year on my blind. Cut the shit out of all the brush and limbed up a tree and set a stand directly over my game cam and like 30 yards from my blind. I wouldn't do that, but hey that is me.
In Oklahoma, on the Federal waterways, the blinds are ones that are drawn for. If the hunter that drew it isn't in it by the prescribed time, anyone can use it. Other than that, sitting in another man's blind could be a death wish. That said, I don't think using the blind for cover to make a stalk is a bad thing.
You guys are awesome!
It doesn't feel right that someone can set up a blind on public land and claim that spot as their own. At the same time, I would never want to mess up someone's hunt if they were in there. That is a tough call.
Best content on UA-cam!💯
I would never use someone elses blind or stand. However, if it was not being used at the time and the harvest I was hunting was present, I would still hunt it, just not using the blind. It's still public. Just because you have a blind up doesn't mean you own the immediate area.
Truly a tough call but you did what I would have and left it alone. Falls under that tree stand or blind in the woods and just leave it alone. However in my home state( Wa, but not for long) people(non hunters) will set things up to keep hunters off of or out of. Same as posting property that isn’t there’s.
Is Eric still with your hunting group.?
Banger!!!!🔥
I don't see using the blind as a blocker to wack one off the watering hole, but I'd never sit in or hunt someone else's tresstand or blind.
You sit in someone's blind or tree stand in Oregon you might get shot.
24:59 in Wisconsin you can't leave stuff on public land. If the state allows it and you know no one is in it think its fair game.
Michigan is the same way. Any blind or stand on public land is first come first serve, no matter who set it up. I disagree with it, and have seen a few people take advantage of it. My dad has kicked a few people out of his blinds before.
Love it
They don’t own the water hole, don’t sit in their blind but if they were in there (which we both know their probably not) they would have shot one if they wanted it, you have just as much right too those antelope as they do anyways. I say go for it
You need a decoy and a call. The bucks will charge in on you that have harams.
Get Hushin
Things got western. Haha
On public land where I hunt it’d be legal to hunt that blind. I wouldn’t do it, but if they’re gonna leave it there they should expect others to at least hunt near it. You just can’t claim a prime spot like that for yourself, but by leaving the blind there it keeps a lot of hunters away.
Just because he has a blind doesn’t mean he has claimed the territory on public land, you should be able to hunt the area. If he’s in it no hunt tho
It's on a water hole
We’re locks on the door. I’d be pissed
Did correct. Chet
I don’t really care if ppl set in my stand or blind as long as they get out when I come and they don’t steal my shit when they leave.
I think that law is awesome. If you are going to set a blind or tree stand on public ground then you have made it for anyone to use. I have seen old wooden tree stands or old ground blinds made out of trees and shrubs. I use them. If you don't want anyone to use it pack it out. I think the law also says no permanent fixtures and you can only have a blind in a spot for so long.
It is illegal to leave blinds or treestands up overnight in public land in our state. You can't claim your own piece of public as yours.
u can call speed goats closer to ya by blowing a rabbit in distress call..
I would not want anyone to do that to me so I am not going to do it to them legal or not still not ethical
Those are ribeye steaks.
No white flag trick?
I've sat in walk in hunting blinds before here in Kansas which is legal, also in ground blinds on private land that I have permission on for whitetail and my thoughts are if it's there and nobody is in it why not...
Heck yea anthor vid I love watching your videos I remember when your daughter killed that monster bull Elk
i’d assume he remembers that 😂
Yes I do!
Do not ever approach or somebody else is buying it is not right
Use to be a big hush fan but idk just can’t get into them this year don’t seem exciting as years past.
Keep moving, find another spot
