Great video Sallie! You are an excellent instructor, and the puppy yawns were definately a plus.
i have to mention that the very first video i saw before i started my tshirt an tumbler journey was one of your videos. you are such a good teacher and an isnpiration to me
Omg 😍 I came for the tutorial and stayed and rewatched for the puppy love 🥰🥰🥰🥰
This video is where it all started for me, thank you Sallie!
Aww thank you so much for sharing that! 🥰
Your tumblers turned out so cool and cute!!! I use a convention oven and love the tumblers! They are addicting to do!!
They look great! Thanks for sharing the information! It's greatly appreciated!!!
Great advice. Love your tutorials ❤️
I love them and I am brand new at this so I am super excited but very nervous at the same time. Thank you for sharing.
Those are super cute! As always, you make it look so easy!
Thank you Jami!!
Totally agree on the h.p.n heat press. I bought/used another off brand prior to buying it and boy is there a difference! You don’t really know there is unless you’ have another to compare it to. I’m guessing the difference is the 4 point pressure on there’s where everyone else’s is only a 2 point. It’s an expensive machine but it’s worth every penny. There’s no way I would have not been able to tape the top/bottom on the others!
Omgoodness it was the puppy yawning for me 😍😍 he's so cute!
Thank you!! 💕 🐾
Thanks Sallie! I tried my first one the other day and had so many mistakes lol. Thanks for all the tips! Can't wait to try again.
Thanks for watching! Good luck! 🥰
They looks so cool I love them❤
This was a great video too! I have been looking for such a video for a while! Thank you so much!
Hey Sallie, I have the same press and use the 30oz tumblers, however if you cut the top off the paper straight on the bleed line and flip the cup upside down on your table then flip your print upside down on the table and wrap it that way your print will line up perfectly every time and it is a little simpler, also I never need to wrap the top or bottom and have done this for several months with perfect tumblers every time. I also put the tape on one side of the paper and pull it really tight to the other side. Hope you find this useful!
I have the same press too and I'm confused about the two knobs on the front of the press. Do I need to adjust those?
Do you have a video showing how?
@@Christine.505 According to Heat Press Nation, adjust the two front knobs until the round plastic pieces (look under the press) touch the heating element. Then adjust the 2 black knobs.
Can you make a video of how you do it please
Awesome!! We have those blanks too! Love your works!🥰
Omg!!!! Hello to the new puppy, he is sooooo adorable!!!
Thank you!! He's a mess! 😅🥰
Awesome job. I finally got a sublimation printer. I can't wait to start with it.
Hi which printer do you have
These are so kiddie and cute to me lol.. I use convection oven no turns 6 mins and no issues.. Thanks for sharing it was fun to watch!
Thank you for watching!! 😊
I will have to try the double tape method for the ends. Great video!
Coffee filters make great lent free wipes just thought I'd share. Learned from a machinist that does performance engines.
I use them when I was doing nails! Great tip!
Thank you! Need this tip for nails too 💅
Really nice imma get some
Sallie, Sallie…. You are the best! My husband purchased me a cricut maker, however it’s still in the box. Due to me watching your videos over and over again… 😅 He stated “You should know how to do everything Sallie does because you watch her so much” I stated: “ No not quite, I’m still studying and taking notes😭 So I am going to attempt to make something… not sure what… but I’m sure if I don’t make something soon my husband is going to band me from UA-cam…🤣 Thanks for all the information you share!
🤣🤣🤣 you are so sweet! You got this, make sure to keep me updated on your first project!
What type of printer is needed in this? I see some for 600$ and some for 6000$??? Just wanting to try to make gifts for mugs and tumblers?
@@maryjo5397 I did a lot of research on printers for sublimation and I went with Epson SC-f170, from LexJet. Between searching and reading online and watching Jennifer Makers video on sublimation printers the SureColor seem to be the best deal for $, time setting up. I bought Hippo sublimation ink.
I literally just got it in the mail. I haven’t even opened the box up yet!
Whatever you end up going with make sure you don’t fill the ink with regular ink!!! Make sure you buy sublimation ink. I hear a lot of people talk about the 2 different brands Hiippo and Jack. I went with the Hiippo brand.
@@aliciat2216I Absolutely LOVE mine. The Epson Ink that comes with the F170 is true sublimation and it's Amazing ink. Only ink I use for one my warranties but also because it's great!
Wow!!!! I dare to say. You are great!!! You make amazing work!! I want to begin to do sublimations mugs too. I loved your work. Congratulations!!!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the great video! and your puppy is adorable!!
They are beautiful
That was awesome and less stressful
Thanks for this informative video. Wow they came out beautiful
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
Thanks for another great tutorial! Love your channel!
Ooooo they came out really good!!!! 💜💜💜
Thank you!
My convection oven came in. So did my tumblers and other supplies I needed. Now I just have to pic the designs. LOL. There are so many options. I want to get a tumbler press. So much quicker. But a friend brought her oven over and we tested it out and it was a good easy entry since the oven was only $109. Now I can test my market.
Dear, if u have a lot of tumbler to make, press is a bettere choice and also it turns out usually better with a press. by the way, we sell our presses at $187 ea
Thank you for sharing. Leo is adorable 🐶
Thank you! He's keeping us busy 🤣🥰
Thank you 🙏🏼 you make it look so easy
I love your videos. You seem so sweet and make everything look easy. I’m gonna try to make some tumblers.

Thank you so much for this video. very helpful
Perfect timing.I planned to try mine this weekend. Thanks for the tips .
Hey sallie! I’ve been watching your videos and everything you do looks so effortless! I’m struggling because theirs is really what I want to do but I’m confused on how to get started, I already bought my printer and laptop but I just learned my laptop is not compatible with my printer. Which laptop do you have for sublimation printing?
Ooooooooo I love how they came out!!
Thank you! 😊
@@SimplySallie you’re so welcome
Aww...Sweet puppy!
They beautiful
Thumbs up for Leo, ! Great tutorial too, thanks !
Thanks Carrie!!
I ordered one from Peachtree and hoping it comes anyway. I am use a Cricut mug press now to make my tumblers and you get ghosting at times grrr. So can't wait for my press to come.
I got the heat tape and tape dispenser from heat press nation I love it. Nice big rolls and it seems to last longer than the amazon stuff. I just switched to it and it wasn't too bad so you may want to check that out.
Love it thank you, just adorable 😊❤
I love 😍my tumbler press¡ nice designs 🥰
Great job!!
I noticed The machine comes with two sleeves: one for mugs (up to 15 ounces) and one for skinny tumblers. What do you use if you want to make larger mugs, curved tumblers, or other odd-sized drink ware? Are there heatpress accessories available for these types of blanks?
Love these they all came out so pretty I need to educate myself on Sublimation Some things is a Lil confusing 😂
excelente por lo visto muy buena maquina
te quedo muy bonito el trabajo final
Good video . I gotta watch your other videos
Love your videos
love your products, but saw puppy immediately liked the video!!!! lol!! that's a beautuful baby!
Thank you! 💕
Thank you!
Great tutorial! Where can I find the floral paper that you used? So pretty! Thanks Sallie!
It is very informative thanks.
Thanks, Sallie.
Thanks for the support!
Thanks Sallie! Your video is really helpful! Where did you get your designs that you used to sublimate on your tumblers? They are really cute!
Love these. X
Thank you!
Awesome video! Thanks 😀
Thank you for watching!
@@SimplySallie You're very welcome 😊
Please share where you got the floral designs! I love the watercolor one! Great job 👏
Thanks for sharing how you make mugs. I do have a question. I’ve been searching Etsy for the daisy pattern that you used and can’t find it. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it from? TY
Your tumblers come out so vibrant! Mine are dull for some reason. I use a Sawgrass SG400, TexPrint-R paper and an offbrand ink comparable to Sublijet. I sublimate in a small convection oven. What is your setup for printing paper and ink wise? What am I doing wrong?
Are you to use light or dark transfer sheets for tumblers and mugs???
How well does the heat press work with tapered tumblers?
Hi im new here thank you so much for saying the sizes for each tumbler. Really appreciate that
Sallie, I love your videos. What printer do you like the most and recommend? Sawgrass or your Epson 15000? I see so many videos, and gets confusing about which one will be the best investment.
Thank you for this video!! What type of printer do you use?
Очень красиво!!!
I tried to make a tumbler yesterday. I printed out the image on my Epson ET2850 (using only sublimation ink...Hilpoo) and the blacks came out lite and then I pressed it. I didn't use butcher paper. THe press I have the larger tumbler didn't fit (all they had at Michaels and these were a test). The sublimation paper stuck to the bottle and had to run it under water. The black was very dull and slight blueish. A friend said that can happen if you over bake. (I ran them at 360 but for about 3 mins.) Thanks for the great video....going to try again.
Hi Sallie! I’m a fan from Toronto 🥰
Hi! So happy to have you here!
Can I use the clear htv on regular tumberlers like we do color shirts to sublimation???
I went to the link in your description to the presses. What press do you recommend for sublimating tumblers (12 oz. 16 oz, 22oz, 30oz, 32oz, curved tumblers short fatty by hogg) and mugs?
I’m so new to this and would like to buy a cup press that will do as many sizes as possible. Any suggestions?
Can you use brown butcher paper? Can you use the brown paper in a convection oven also?
What kind of paper do you buy and where do you buy it? Can you design be printed off of a regular printer or do you have to have a special printer?
Do you have to use a sublimation printer or can you just use a regular printer with special paper? Thank you!
thanks for sharing. i want to so sublimation but nervous to start. this makes it look easy. Do you see the need to resin the tumbler or is it not necessary. Also I assume these are not DW safe correct? THX!
I love that you enclose your tools used! Do you use a special printer for sublimation sheets or just a regular one with the proper paper?
Converted epson ecotank into sublimation 😊
@@SimplySallieI just gifted myself an Epson ET2850 that I will be dedicating to sublimations ONLY. I’m definitely going to begin with the tumblers. Thank you for sharing.
Is a convention oven good as well? I’ll invest in the press but for now as a beginner would you say the convention oven is ok? Thanks in advance !!!
What settings are u using for your tumblers? I just did my first one but for some reason the color is not as bright 😩 idk what am doing wrong, can you please give me any advise?
I would love to start doing this! What printer are you using in the video? Did you buy a bundle from heat press nation? And which do you recommend now?
Question! How do these wash up? Is there a setting with this press to use the larger tumblers that aren’t uniform in size? ie the Yeti rambler. Thank you!
I thought I wanted to start making these, but after seeing the amount of work...now I don't. lol. Great video though, and the puppy is adorable!!!
Question I bought yhe Epton et 4700 but shows its on greyscale. What program do you print from. Im lost and still learning. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Can you please tell me which video you have about sizing? I print from Canva and am having a hard time getting it to print the correct size.
Hi Sallie, can I ask if your butcher paper is heavyweight or regular white craft butcher paper?
Hello
Please kindly recommend the printer and the ink. Which one should I buy?
Thank you so much.
Did you ever have a tumbler burned or not transfer the image all the way? If so what did you do with the messed up tumblers? I made my first one yesterday and it looks slightly burned on one side and image didn't transfer completely on the other side. Wondering if I can paint over it and use it with glitter and epoxy. Can you share your thoughts please.
After watching a few videos about ways of decorating or transforming tumblers, or anything that we decorate lately, I would say using epoxy technique over it, or at least over the part that is not the way you want it to look. If you wanted to use vinyl that compliments or is snarky compared to the rest of the project, if you want to use a vinyl over it use the heat vinyl or do some epoxy all over and just do some graffiti looking crayon or something over the poor you don't like and in clear epoxy the whole thing. If you want to do like a bit of cloudy nebulous kind of thing over the painter part, that will be more unique anyway, or even slightly misty or tried again with a different color combination on the same product or the same item. Just because it's not like what you see from everybody else doesn't mean it's necessarily wrong, in fact it can be great inspiration for something very unique. Most things I've done are slightly imperfect in some way, but superior and a different way, and more creative regardless, because it's not perfect. I prefer an imperfect quilt top to something that takes as long as paper piecing to make sure that everything is perfect. I found perfection quite boring, but quirky that's kind of where I live.
Thanks for the video! They came out great!!!! Do you mirror every image!?!? Tyia
Thank you for your video. I have not done this yet but I did purchase the cuts. My question is do I have to use any special ink and paper for my printer? Can I use my standard Epson inkjet printer. Or do I have to buy a new printer with special ink!
Hello. I love your videos and have watched quite a few of them since buying my Thunder Laser. I am asking this question here only because you seem to be well-versed in many maker areas and a search didn't turn up too much. I have a friend who has a silicone pint glass that he got from a brewery and had the brewery's logo on it. I thought it was pretty cool so I started looking online for how to put logos on silicone products and didn't see much--I did see some videos of a more industry set-up where they had paint machines that were pumping out wrist bands and other items but nothing much in the way of a small maker operation. Is this type of product somewhat out of reach for most small business folks who dabble in a lot of different things (me with woodworking, CNC, laser, want to get into sublimation, etc.)? Thanks.
What have u found to use to ship tumblirs in to get them there not damaged and a decent cost?
Can you link the shop to the floral wrap? I love it but can’t find it! Thanks so much!
Ok, I need to know, because I went back and watched the mug video too. Do sublimation items have to have a special coating? I noticed your wood circles did, the mugs did, and I was unsure about the tumblers.
I saw in another video that the tumblers do need to be sublimate ready. Just Google sublimate blanks and tumblers come up on lots of sites!
Thanks for the info!! Do you get an imprint of the heat press attachment “mesh” like pattern on your finished product?
Nope no imprint! 😊
@@SimplySallie ok, thank you! I will need to see if I have to back off on the pressure on mine!
Can you press the glass beer cups as well?
Did you try tumblers on your mug press attachments that came with your heat press?
Can a sublimation tumbler be glittered & epoxy once it’s finished?
