If you want to discuss Cyberpunk, learn to play Cyberpunk Red, or have questions come over to the Official R. Talsorian Games Discord: discord.gg/rtalsoriangames
@@DiceTTRPGi mean one of the old unofficial rules of 2013/2020 was "dont play a netrunner unless everyone is playing netrunners". The only way to make them semi-viable was to have them sit on their ass in their apartment and attack the defenses of whatever building the meatheads needed to get into. At that point you're playing two different games.
discovered your channel since will be running cyberpunk red with my gaming group. this is awesome more tutorial videos please. this will help those who maybe to lazy to read the book or those that need clarification or an example of play.
My netrunner player and I are pretty confused when it comes to attack programs. Do you use an action to rez it, an action to use it, and then another 2 actions to derez and rez again?
would love a black ice specific video! GM tips/ black Ice for specific scenario As well as touching on how to use black ice as a player since I could never get my head around the way you’d do that without slowing down the game too much Thanks for the content! Great videos as usual
Its been 6 months since i found your channel and this is still thr first video i sent to my friends who want to try netrunning. Thanks so much for your content!
@@DiceTTRPG there is a complicated question, maybe for one of your live transmissions: one of my players started to ask me questions about gun-hand to hand combat, think about the fight between Neo and Agent Smith or some of the fights of John Wick... We are still trying to find a way to resolve a situation like that...

Hi, what software are you using in this video?
@@tommothedog I believe it's talespire on steam
Love the Netrunning aspect in Cyberpunk. Red's version seems way easier than the old 2020 or Shadowrun. I would love more videos on this personally.
From what I hear about 2020's Netrunning, it's a big improvement and keeps Netrunners in the action.

We're gonna most likely do an example Netrun.

Nope, you just declare you are attacking with Sword, it rezzes and derezzes for that attack. You just can't use the same Sword twice in a turn.
@@DiceTTRPG oh ok, that makes so much more sense. I was wondering why netruns were taking so long!
Whats the name of this programm?
Right?
Talespire
Thanks man, I appreciate you making this vid.
It helped a lot
The best part about 2020's net running was that as you read more into the rules, the drawings got angrier and more steam came from their heads.
I would love another Netrunning video. I would love to know more about programs cyberware upgrades and netrunner vs netrunner combat
We'll do 2 more. One for more details around stuff, and the other an example Netrun video.
What virtual tabletop is this? Looks really cool
Talespire

That makes me very happy to hear that, I'm glad it's been helpful.
This is really helpful! I hope you ended up making more netrunning vids like that scenario you mentioned. Keep up the good work!
I'm going to be running a CP Red game soon and this entire series is very helpful to me!
What program do you use for these?? It looks amazing!
what is the name of this program your running ?
WHAT PLATFORM ARE YOU PLAYING ON???
awesome breakdown. something that has stumped me as a GM is, how many attacks can a Black ICE do? do they attack on each of the netrunner’s attack?
Each turn they have, they get 1 attack.
more netrunning breakdown, please. very informative.
Got ya covered, coming soon.
More about Netrunning
Let’s go new Dice vid!!!
Trying to get them out faster than 1 every 2 weeks.
@@DiceTTRPG I love your quality over quantity
I would love another netrunning video, and if you could do one for gms, that'd be fantastic.
yeeeah please i need examples of netrunning to see if doing it right!
We're on it. Also been reminded I need to do Vehicle Combat.

This is the only part of the rules that stresses me lol
