Would this behaviour be tolerated from other players on the court? No. Would it have been tolerated if it was an adult fan, unrelated to a player on the court? No. When we start labelling someone MVP for sabotage rather than sportsmanship, isn’t that problematic? Worth thinking about.

It’s a sport, are you ok? Have you ever been to a basketball game? This is normal fan behavior. Fans are important to the game in giving their team the advantage. Screaming during free throws is normal and in all actuality should not offset grown men who are paid millions a year to play a SPORT.
