What a beautiful instrument reimagined! The way you describe it, it almost reminds me of the reso-phonic/resonator/Dobro-style guitar, which uses a form of speaker diaphragm instead of relying on a rigid surface.
Yep! The soundpost comes pre-installed and tuned. If you want to explore different sonorities of the cello any luthier can adjust the post for your but, we feel it’s shipped in a really great place. FYI you don’t need to loosen the strings to adjust the post. It won’t hurt the top or back :)
Thank you for the clarification regarding protruded soundpost.. I am enjoy this cello more and more each day..
A 5 string version would be cool.
beautiful sounding instrument.
Very helpful tutorial, looking forward to assemble mine 😎

Does this cello come in a wood-coloured finish?
Hey Thomas, we're working on it! We've got to make sure it's visually and acoustically perfect so it's taking a little time.
I prefer using Helicore strings on all the strings because the Stranded Steel Core softens the tone a little bit plus it's a mellower sound.
Thank you for the help in setting it up.
Please, make a Double Bass!😊
was the sound post pre-installed? ...as such that it doesn't need adjustment?

I was thinking of getting a ‘Krentz Modulator’ for this when I order the cello next week, any opinion?
Thanks for this video!!!!
Hello! Yep, I’ve heard that people have liked using Krentz Modulators with our cellos.
The background music is unnecessary and distracting.
yeah, that's my cello driven acoustic rock band so maybe not the best choice :)
